Coron [Thread 10]
« on: November 06, 2012, 06:34:47 pm »
mga sis! new thread na ng Coron! here's the link to the previous thread:

http://www.femalenetwork.com/girltalk/index.php/topic,258820.580.html

mga sis! i need your helpful replies, pleeeeease... i'd appreciate it. i've been planning a Coron trip for a while now hoping na matutuloy. at dahil matutuloy na talaga nang totohanan na, mas seryoso na ang pagplaplano ko, hehe. ok na ako sa tours, i will get Corongaleri. may itinerary na rin ako.

i just have two things i need help on:

1. good beachfront resort aside from Club Paradise and El Rio y Mar ( i only know these two kasi na beachfront) - ayaw ni Mommy sa Coron Town, gusto niya nasa magandang beach

2. best way to travel from Puerto Princesa to Coron - based on research, we have to ride a 5-6 hour van/bus from PP to El Nido, then ride a 3-4hr fastcraft from El Nido to Coron. that's a total of 8-10 looooong hours. Question: Isn't really there a faster way from PP to Coron? kasi kung talagang wala, mapipilitan kami to just postpone either PP or Coron and not plan a continuous PP-Coron trip.

^oo nga sis... i did more research, hindi talaga practical na magkasunod na trip. paghiwalayin na lang namin. :) kasi mas mabilis ang plane kaso connecting flight sa Manila. so sabi ko sa mommy ko na parang ang weird naman na continuous trip kung dadaaan din kami sa manila, hehe. might as well paghiwalayin.

sisses, yung isa ko pang question, may mare-recommend pa ba kayong beachfront resorts aside from Club Paradise and El Rio y Mar?

^IMO, cheaper ang Corongaleri if dalawa lang kayo, so you can just join other groups. mura lang ang ganun ng Corongaleri.

^^sis, i also checked Cebupac. if you'll look closely, connecting flight yun. :) kaya mahal. :)

mga sis, please please pa-recommend naman ng ok na beachfront resort either sa Malcapuya or sa Banana Island. yung aircon sana. please...

I sent an inquiry to Coron Galeri through their website but no reply yet. Matagal ba talaga sila sumagot?

matino ba ang accommodation sa Banana Island and Malcapuya Island? gusto namin aircon. aircon ba? o sobrang native ang accommodation dun? also, between the two, saan mas maganda mag-overnight? sana may makapag-share ng detailed review of the two accommodations...

di pa ako nakapunta sa 2 pero based sa research ko hindi naman ganun ka ganda ang accomodation ng 2, pero may aircon naman yata. =)

^kasi sis, ang gusto ng mommy ko ay beachfront accommodation sa Coron... eh i can't afford Club Paradise... eh wala namang beachfront sa Coron Town na hotels. so ang next na naisip ko ay sa Banana or Malcapuya.. another option is yung Majika's Island Resort kaso msyadong malayo, sa Apo Island kasi yun. i think mas malayo kesa Banana or Malcapuya.

Hi! I'm selecting tours for our Coron trip this Dec. 26-30. We're arriving late afternoon of 26 so ang start ng tours ko is 27. I got the following quotation for a 3 days private tour. Pa-confirm naman po kung ok na.

Day 1 - Coron island loop (siete picados, banol beach, cyc beach, twin lagoon, kayangan lake, twin peak)
- not included yung lake barracuda and skeleton wreck, malaking kawalan ba yan? Kasi we'll pay the entrance daw on our own if we include this

Day 2 - malcapuya, banana island and bulog

Day 3 - Pass island, coral garden, lusong ship wreck (same ba eto sa japanese ship wreck)

All in for P5500/head but does not include accomodation and transfers which we booked separately, ok na ba eto?

^^sis julmin4u, alam mo, i requested a quote from Corongaleri na halos parehong-pareho ng itinerary mo. private tour kasi for 11pax. mas mura yung cost/pax namin, maybe because malaking group kami, so the cost is divided by 11pax. ilan ba kayo? ito kasi quote samin given 11pax:

Coron island loop - P650/pax
Beach hopping - P1200/pax
lusong coral garden - P990/pax

so total of P2840/pax lang, pero 11pax kasi kami.

Magandang Gabi Po!

After Boracay & Puerto Princesa, finally we're heading to Coron this January :) Yehey!
so dito na ako sa page na to mag stay for a while..

we're a group of 11 adults 2 kids & 1 infant so hassle pa kung i-DIY ko.

backreading is the key to a successful trip ;D
