meron naman malapit na Mcdo sa area, actually 2 branch... kung gusto mag grab ng pang breakfast...

baka ganun na lang nga gawin namen sa biyahe nalang kain. sayang lang un free kasi makakapag check in kame late na mga 10pm siguro dahil 8pm un flight namen. depende pa un kun madelay. kaya mejo kakahinayang yung 998 sa 3hours na stay hahahhahah sayang nga yun promo somewhere na 99php for early booking. tapos na yung promo :S thanks ulit sis.

hi sis purpleish, thanks sa info. mas gusto din namin gabi pumunta sa crown regency para sa edge coaster and sky walk. yun talaga ang di namin papalagpasin. sa hotel stella din kami stay pero try namin check yun apple. either way excited na kami sa cebu trip kaso sa June 2013 pa.

sis babygirl00, salamat at sinagot mo dilemma namin ni hubby kung with breakfast ba kunin namin sa hotel o bili na lang sa labas. hehe, much better na nga bili sa labas kaya yun standard room na lang kunin namin sa hotel stella.

sis presyosa ligaya ...welcome sis =) yung apple tree suites, nasa fuente circle lang siya at the back ng Elegant Circle Inn... kaya ang ginagawa namen nun bili na talaga sa labas bago pumunta ng stella kasi walang nearby na makakainan, di tulad sa Apple Tree, 5mins walking andun na lahat ng needs... mas convenient lalo na with kids...

sis Starlust ...sis saan banda dun yung Jollibee?? tatawid pa ba ng kabilang street dun sa main road?? kasi nung nag lakad kame from Crown Regency to Stella wala kameng nakitang kainan na malapit sa area ng Jasmine street??

@purpleish - you just need to walk to the main road (Osmena) then cross. The Jollibee is beside Cebu Doctors Hospital. 3 mins walk tops. There is also a Jo's Chicken Inato (chicken inasal) & an Orange Brutus (30 year old Cebuano fast food chain - I've loved them since I was a kid) & a Red Ribbon on the opposite end of the street.

Also, madaming kainan near Hotel Stella

one of the best seafood restaurants in the city, STK Ta Bay! is less than 5 mins walk away from it (beside STK are several other places to eat - bbq or grilled seafood) & on the same street as Hotel Stella there is also One Claypot House which serves asian regional specialties (Malay, Singaporean, etc.)

Fuente Osmena Circle is 360 meters away by walk - less than 10 mins. Not so far for us & we're used to walking but as you said you had kids so baka that was the deciding factor

We stayed at Hotel Stella to test it again last Nov 3-5. The first time we stayed here was last March. We got the standard room this time without breakfast, first time we got the deluxe. It's impressive for a hotel that falls under the budget category even if it can run a bit small. Water pressure in the shower is OK. Rooms & bed linen are clean, no funky smell!

Crimson is OK but can get overcrowded. You'll notice it during breakfast. It's very popular with Koreans

sis purpleish, kita ko na yun apple suites dito (http://www.appletreesuitescebu.com/index.html). parang mas gusto ko yun ambiance sa hotel stella but i'll show this one to hubby.

sis, kung ganyan din lang kaiksi stay nyo mag-sugbutel na lang kayo kasi halos wala na rin kayong itutulog nyan. hehe! pag 30 days advance, 99 pesos lang per bed dorm-type. walang prob sa gamit nyo kung pupunta kayong oslob, pwede nyo syang iwan sa locker nila, 25 or 30 pesos lang yong fee. pagdating sa taxi, wala din kayong prob kasi kahit madaling araw may taxi na nakatambay don sa baba & hindi naman ganon kamahal ang patak non hanggang south terminal.

ayaw ko rin kasing suggest sa inyo na mag-commute kasi parang manila din ang cebu, daming loko pag ganyang oras. $:-\$

@sis isabella: okay rin ang BE Resort, mura lang ang day tour nila kaso walang libreng buffet.

When we went to BE last September 16, wala masyadong tao tapos you can feel that you own the resort. You can also check out Imperial Palace Resort and Spa.

I agree with sis starlust that Crimson can get overcrowded and I think it is sort of overrated hehe Mas maganda pa ang Plantation Bay or Shang.

sis Starlust ...yun nga lang sis medyo dadayo pa sa main road... since meron kameng kasama kid, mas madali bumili dun sa kilala nang mga kainan... tyaka mas pabor den samen yung Apple, kasi malapit lang siya sa Crown Regency, sayang den kasi sana yung pwedeng ma-sesave sa taxi, hirap pa naman nung dating namen sobrang init kung mga 10-15mins walk pa going fuente...try sana namen mag commute sa multi, kaso wala palang dumadaan sa Jasmine street, pag nag totour naman kame hndi naman kame malimit sa room, talagang explore namen yung place...kaya mas easy access sana kung malapit within fuente circle...

for the ambiance, okies sa Hotel Stella

sis presyosa ligaya ...if ambiance mas bago talaga sa Hotel Stella

kung location wise para easy access sa mga needs Apple akech

@sis rocky: 500/head ang day tour sa BE sis with free towel na to use pero walang locker to put your things pero safe naman if iwanan mo ang gamit mo sa tables/yung sa may white furniture i dunno if ano tawag doon haha kasi yun ang ginawa namin eh

^yes sis, keri lang talaga ang day tour sa BE. tapos I noticed if high tide maganda ang dagat sa BE compare sa katabing resort or it is just me. hahaha tapos what I like BE rin is, maganda ang register ng surroundings when you take a photo. Andami ngang nagtanong sa akin if ano daw pangalan ng resort na pinuntahan ko kasi maganda daw, eh sa BE lang yun

oi maganda yan sis ha if ever pwedeng mag day tour sa Crimson kung guest ka sa Quest Hotel.

^sayang nga late ko na naisip yang be resort. wala akong magawa sa bahay last week nong umuwi ako, sana pala nag-daytour na lang ako jan. hehe!
