Question po ulit:

1. i read na better bumili ng Go Genting! tickets (yung package) ahead.  ok na po ba yung 2 days ahead? pwede din po bang bumili ng tickets sa Gombak Terminal sakaling mag-Batu Caves kami) even if sa KL Sentral talaga kami sasakay on the day itself?

2. paano po pumunta sa Chin Swee Cave temple from Coffee Terrace at Maxim Genting? (we will avail the buffet lunch po kasi) may free shuttle nga po ba inside Genting papunta sa Chin Swee temple??

3. correct me if Im wrong -- coming from Renaissance Hotel, best po to take MTR from Bukit Nanas to KL Sentral then from there, TAXI na to get to KL bird park / Butterfly park / Orchid Garden -- tama po ba?  yung na lang po ang balak namin puntahan.  Pwede po bang lakarin from one place to another itong 3 ito?  Alin po ang dapat unahin para hindi po kami pabalik-balik?

4. by experience po, alin po ang better option to get to LCCT if we are coming from KL Sentral? meron po pala kasing option na mag-bus or mag-train.  Ang sched po ng flight namin pabalik ng Manila is 7:50pm so I think dapat nasa LCCT na kami by 5:30pm.

^ 1. sis depends if the time you are going to Genting is a peak day.  If not, ok na kahit a day before or early hrs. before you go.  kasi whatever is the next available bus schedule, don ka ilalagay.mas iba ang rate kasi mas malapit ang Gombak to Genting than KL sentral.

2. yong sa temple not sure, pero meron nga atang free shuttle from First World Genting. 

3.  Mag-bus na lang kayo at least isang sakay lang. pag train, baba pa kayo ng Salak Tinggi tapos sasakay ulit ng shuttle to LCCT.   If 530 niyo gusto nasa lcct na, you should be in KL sentral ng mga 4 or past 4.

3. yes sis pero walang MTR dito ha. it's monorail.  medyo malayo yong 3, but there is tram (RM0.50 dati ang fare) from one place to another sa Lake Garden.

kung san binili ticket for go genting, dun lang pwedeng sumakay. and dun din kayo bababa pabalik. prices for go genting for all stations except for hentian kajang is RM58. HJ = RM63.

Question pala, mag di-dinner kame sa Bintang Walk sa gabe, meron ba kayo na mare-recommend na resto dun?

you can try researching sa Food Malaysia sis.  Bintang Walk kasi has lots of restos from Indian, Turkish, etc.  (which I dont take, hehe).

We will be going to KL on Oct 31 until Nov 3 via Malaysia Airlines. Wala pa ring IT  I will be reaching there 1015pm.
any recommendations for hotels na malapit sa petronas and bar na pwede naming puntahan that night.

^^ ok doks.. salamat! nakita ko nga mga pictures ng bintang walk and since marame naman palang choices mukang hindi mahihirapan. Ayus na ang Day 3 IT namen, Batu Caves sa umaga -> Genting sa afternoon -> Evening sa Bintang Walk.
Relax naman yung mga time namen, so hopefully magawa lahat.

^^ sis wackychloe, you might want to check tripadvisor for some hotels there near petronas.  pero usually yong iba sa renaissance hotel or hotel maya.  yon mga malapit sa petronas siya.  sa ngihtlife. alam ko meron sa may ampang park pero di kasi ako masyadong gumigimik dito e, heehe

^ yup sis, ok na yan. 

di naman holiday dito next week so considered non peak days yon.  yong week ng nov 10 ang start ng school holiday and there's a couple of public holidays na rin kasi that week kaya peak days na.  end is after new year na.

^ yup.  usually naman, USD is easier to change into other foreign currencies

^ hi sis, meron.  Touch n' Go pero bihira sila ngayon na me available cards e.  Kasi meron na rin ang train system na sariling card (RapidKL pass), it can be used sa monorail and lrt pero hindi pa ata ini-introduce sa bus, early next year pa ata,

edit: nabasa ko na kung magkano. RM20 pala, tapos ang purse value ay RM10. ang ibig sabihin ba nito, ito yung consumable? yung RM10 na natira pwede ba syang irefund? thanks!

is it sulit to avail this kung may 1 day (morning till the next morning) lang kami sa KL? kasi kung single journey baka pila lang kami ng pila? hehe. eh magtetrain2 lang kami.

^ no sis, hehhe. di siya sulit.  pag single journey, pwedeng sa machine kumuha or sa teller din.  usually 3 ang minimum machines sa monorail, pag lrt mas marami.

if the rapidpass, oo, RM10 ang consumable niya.  medyo hassle pa nga kasi me ififillup ka pa, etc.

^ay talaga may ififill up pa? haha. hmm baka mag-single journey na lang nga kami. pero sayang yung souvenir na card. LOL.

at we just found out na di pala sya pwede pa-Batu Caves so baka nga single journey na lang.

And what hotels/hostels would you recommend? Actually, my brother will be working there soon, sa may Petaling Jaya daw so gusto sana namin na medyo malapit dun.

^ sis iwannaknow, august ok naman, pero usually kasi dito sa hapon umuulan e so just bring umbrella na rin.  you can check previous pages sa thread to know mga discussions on the weather that time.  pero umulan man kasi, saglit lang. 

maybe you want to backread on itineraries kasi we have discussed much of the spots here. mahirap kasi na mag-suggest then di niyo naman pala feel yong place na yon.  what i usually do is help out to check if the itineraries are feasible or not, etc. 

medyo malayo ang PJ sa mismong KL sis ha. mga 30-45 mins. train ride pa. 

backread ka sis madami ka  mapupulot.  then just post away any queries you have.

finally saw a review on Hello Kitty Town in Johor Bahru, Malaysia (near Legoland).. this is indoor and was just opened last October 26.. better option if you dont want the heat of Legoland.. and of course, all of us (almost) are big Hello Kitty fans during our childhood (and until today.. LOL!)

hi sis purphle! i read na mas mura ang slippers na ipanema jan sa KL. same din ba for grendha shoes which is the same company as ipanema? what about prices for fitflops and crocs? are the prices of the 2 brands relatively cheaper there compared here in Manila? lastly, what about for longchamp bags? cheaper ba jan or same lang din dito sa manila? if cheaper, kindly advise kung san mas mura na malls bumili. sale season na ba ang nov 28?

^ sis, mura siya lalo na pag sale.  you can have the cheap ipanema sa mga studio R or stadium shops sa mga mall.  usually kasi pag sa ipanema stall na solo, walang sale.  kaya don ka kumuha.  kung magagawi ka sa Midvalley, meron don shop na Why Pay More, madami din sale na Ipanema don.  yong fitflops, mahal pa rin e, nasa around 4k ata yong iba.   bihira rin lang me fitflops dito.  crocs naman same price din dyan sa Pinas, pero siyempre, pag nataon ka sa sale or yong talagang warehouse sale nila, bagsak presyo ka.  i dont know the price of longchamp bags here sis e.  pero usually me mga sales sa mga groupon ganon.

swerte mo, nov 28 ka pala pupunta, the YES (year end sale) is ongoing na non.  it starts Nov 10 and ends Jan 2 ata. 

pag murang Vincci shoes na maraming sale, sa Sungai Wang/Bukit Bintang area.  pero kahit sa mga mall magsasawa ka kasi once na sale season dito.

will go to genting on a sunday pero para sure, buy na nga lang kami ng tix 2 days ahead sa KL sentral.  *marriot putrajaya has a free shuttle to and from KLCC so we'll avail that to see petronas and then side-trip na lang to KL sentral to get the said tickets.

ok po ba yung sequence ko na Butterfly Park -> Bird Park -> Orchid Gardens?magta-taxi na lang po kami from KL Sentral to butterfly park.  Makakasakay po ba kami nung "tram" right outside of Butterfly Park or do we need to walk to some place before po kami makasakay?  from what i read, orchid garden is just in front of bird park. tatawid lang daw.  pabalik naman, may coupon taxi daw sa entrance ng KL bird park so we'll just do that.


^ nasa iti ko yang sungei wang mall na yan for vincci.  we'll be there nov.22-27 so pasok sa YES   share ko lang din, mas mura ang toys specifically ang barbie sa toys r us sa midvalley megamall.  yun lagi ang pasalubong ni hubby sa daughter namin everytime he goes to KL.  halos 50% cheaper compared to manila price.
