^ hi sis, meron.  Touch n' Go pero bihira sila ngayon na me available cards e.  Kasi meron na rin ang train system na sariling card (RapidKL pass), it can be used sa monorail and lrt pero hindi pa ata ini-introduce sa bus, early next year pa ata,

nukkss. may new thread na pala.
may 3 weeks pa ako until my KL birthday trip. Excited much na and the good news is, na moveyung flight namen ng Airphil - instead on midnight na dateng - we will be there by 3PM. So hindi na namen need mag taxi - hopefully.
Ok naman mag dala ng small luggage sa regular trains nila, diba? From KL Sentral kase, we need to switch and ride the train to Raja Chulan

^ yes sis, ok lang magdala.  Pero sa monorail, walang escalator pababa ha, they are still putting elevators para mas maging tourist friendly :)  So bitbit talaga kayo.  From kl sentral, you switch to Monorail train.

DAY 02
Kuala Lumpur City Tour (halfday) - 4 hour private tour for 2
Fireflies and Countryside - 6 hour private tour with dinner for 2

DAY 03
Genting Highlands and Batu Caves - 8 hour private tour for 2

DAY 04

Sidetrip to Putrajaya for photo op enroute to LCCT (can anyone suggest a provider for this? I will still email my Malaysian agent if she can provide the sidetrip via the airport transfer with just additional fees)
ETD 1830 for MNL

I'm getting all tours online through kualalumpurtraveltour.com. It is highly rated at tripadvisor.com. I've gotten flight tickets and hotel bookings already. All that's left to do are the tour bookings. Did I miss anything significant to visit/try? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

^ if they have already made arrangements for some of your tour, then i think there will be no problem for them to arrange the same one for your putrajaya side trip.

nothing left sis.  esp. since you're in a private tour, you'd be covering the important ones for sure :)

hello again... my sister & i will be travelling to KL this coming november.  6 days po kami doon.  we will be joining my hubby who is there for work (3 weeks). so ayun, makiki-ride-on lang po kami sa hotel accomodation ni hubby habang andun kami.  we will be at Putrajaya during Day 1 (th) up to morning ng Day 3 (sat), then KL na onwards.

please check my itinerary po if its relatively "ok".  gusto ko po sana relaxed lang ang phase namin.

DAY 1 thursday:
3:00pm - arrival at LCCT
4:30pm - check-in at Putrajaya Marriot hotel
relax at the hotel
*optional: go to Alamanda Mall for dinner if theres a free shuttle service schedule to/from hotel

DAY 2 friday:
option 1: go to KL & go sight-seeing--
batu caves
thean hou temple

option 2: Stay at Putrajaya; tour Putrajaya via hired taxi then go to Alamanda mall for dinner

DAY 3 saturday:
AM: check-out Putrajaya / transfer to KL - Renaissance hotel

PM -- lunch at KLCC food court
see Petronas Tower; stroll KLCC park
*optional: see Aquaria KLCC

optional:
dinner at Jalan Alor food street
(pag di pa mashado pagod)

DAY 4 sunday:
avail Go Genting Golden Package
*pick buffet luch option

dinner: Jalan Alor food street

DAY 5 monday:
KL sight-seeing
----from Renaissance Hotel to Masjid Jamek (by train, tama po ba?)
1. Masjid Jamek
2. Merdeka Square
3. Butterfly Park
4. Orchid Garden
----Lunch (where?)
5. KL Bird park
6. Masjid Negara
7. Sri Mahamariamman Temple
8. Dinner at Petaling street (Chinatown)
----head back to hotel

DAY 6 tuesday:
mall opening (10:00am) up to 2:30 pm - shopping at Sungei Wang Plaza (nose, vincci)

3:00 - back at the hotel, leave for KL Sentral
4:30 or 5:00 -  take KLIA transit to LCCT
7:50pm - plane departure to manila

Question po:

1. do we really need to present a "letter of invitation"?  can we just present a copy of my hubby's hotel booking just in case?

2. alin po kaya ang mas better na option for Day 2?

3. for KL sight-seeing, tama po ba ang sequence ko ng pupuntahan? is this feasible, lalo na kung lalakadin lang namin from one place after the other? pabigay naman po please ng estimated time to spend/allot on each place.
you know you love me!

^^ sis maycon, di naman siguro kasi di naman siya holiday,

^ wow sis, ang haba, hehe...here's my answers:
1) as long as you have your return tickets, and your bookings sis, ok na yon.  depende lang kasi pa rin sa IO kung me hihingin sa yo or wala.  usually sis, sa Pinas na airport ang matanong, hindi dito.

2) since nasa Putrajaya kayo, i'd say go for Option 2 na lang.  though di naman din kasi masyado ganon kadami mga iikutan.

3) yes sis, ok na yong sequence mo.  kaya lang sis, di mo malalakad from merdeka to butterfly farm, you need to take a cab.  tapos kasi sa Lake Garden, walang makakainan don e.  parang meron karinderia don pero walang choices.  ang magkalapit lang na pwede mo lakarin is masjid jamek at merdeka square.  yon lang.
i would not know yong estimate ng time, kasi it depends sa traffic, etc.  just take your time, kaya naman yan in 1 day.  magdala ka nga lang ng payong kasi baka biglang umulan tapos sa umaga at lunch naman super init.  and be ready na maglakad :)

i'm going back to KL end of November.  for vacay lang naman.  i first went there last year kasi my bff cousin works there na.  sarap kasi free accommodation hehe.  ganda pa ng condo nya parang hotel na dn.  i didn't expect the shopping to be great, but it was!  a lot of the stores sa klcc mall and pavilion have the same stores that i frequent when in the US.  may rebate pa.

have any of you tried malaysia airlines?  ayoko na mag cebupac papunta dun haha.

Tama po ba etong directions ko if i want to do Genting after Batus Caves:

1. At Batu train station, ride the train back to MRT Putra Gombak station
2. At Gombak, locate bus going to Genting.

I dont want to go back to KL Sentral na kase parang sayang yung time if meron naman bus sa Gombak. Tama ba toh?

^^ or you can take the taxi lalo na if naghahabol kayo ng oras. RM10-15 only.
magkaiba kasi ng line ang dalawa. so if train from batu caves, you still have to make transfers para makapunta sa putra gombak.

^^ tama, taxi na lang kayo mas mabilis.  kasi medyo mabagal ang ktm komuter ng batu caves e.  then as sis london mentioned, you need to tranfer pa ng way, so dadaan pa rin kayo ng malapit sa kl sentral.

aha! 10 Bucks lang naman pala. ayus na yun, taxi na lang.
Hindi naman kame nag hahabol sa oras - batu caves and genting lang naman ang sights namen for our 3rd day. So if we had breakfast sa hotel - then mag batu caves sa umaga, pwede na around lunch time nasa Genting na kame? iniisip ko kase baka naman magutom mga kasama ko, cause i was reading that genting is a couple of hours away pa. Eh, mukang wala naman atang kainan sa Batu Caves.. heheh!

^ yes sis kasi 10am nag-oopen mga shops and rides sa Genting e.  Though be sure to have an umbrella ha, minsan dahil mataas ang Genting, foggy siya sa outdoor at me ulan din.

wala nga kainan sa Batu caves, meron restaurant pero baka di niyo magustuhan kasi Indian foods.
