Ask ko lang, ang monday's ba sa Korea, laging holiday? Meaning closed lahat?

Sorry for my ignorance ha.. Second time ko pupunta sa korea pero may monday kase sa trip namin ngayon and hindi ako familiar.. Para sana makaisip na ako ng mga pwede namin puntahan kahit april 2013 pa trip.. hehe

Thanks in advance!

@princess lorraine: yup, okay nga rates nila dun. Tapos 3 pax na yung ok sa room. Hirap kasi minsan maghanap ng guesthouse na pwede 3-4 pax per room. Madalas 2 pax lang. :) check mo rin.

@nicolelaloo: if im not mistaken, mga palace and ibang attractions closed on Mondays. Kaya when we went early this year, weekend kami nag-Palace then theme park ng Monday.

There are four basic food groups: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate & chocolate truffles. ♥

Hi mga sis..

Wondering lang if buildings are heated during the cold season (late autumn)? Parang lahat kasi nag aadvertise na may aircon yung guesthouses nila but nobody mentioned na they have heater, too. Or yung aircon ba nila is 2-way? Pwede ba mag choose yun if we want na hot air ang lalabas instead of cold? Just need to make sure na hinde kami naka jacket while sleeping..

TIA  :)

at most homes and hotels, heater is separate from the aircon. most of their heaters are in the floor or in the bed (parang part na ng design).

in our office before, standard na ang heater (centralized) to be at 28degC during summer. during autumn, they just turn it off..minsan pa nga at winter, i could barely feel the heat inside the office kasi na ka set sa minimum required at kahit super nega na sa labas ang temp, ayaw pa rin. it is said that the government regulated this rule.

@MaRiA CLaRa, Go to Korea embassy/consulate office sa place mo (Canada). When I visited Korea as a tourist, i was based in Japan. I applied at Korea consulate office and it only took me 3 days to get my visa.

mga sis na madalas na sa SK, so pag December kelangan pang winter na talaga ang get up ano? gosh! san kayo nakabili ng boots? at saka advisable pa bang mag Jeju pag winter?

anyone has a flight to Incheon on Dec 8? :)

@Heatherette, i think pwede ka pa-sponsor na lang muna sa parents mo parang gift kunwari ganun. pero di ko rin sure kung mataas chance nyan ha. mas may chance ka if meron kang previous or current visa/s from OECD countries.

@Serena., sadly super required ang ITR kasi IMO, it's one way for them to know how strong your financial/economic ties are. Don't know if they check kung loss or gain though. All I know based from what I've read in other forums is that they do verify the TIN. yun isang kasama namin na-deny because wala syang ITR dahil tax exempt sila. failed to prove strong ties daw at saka purpose of entry (which is di ko na kina count kasi parehas lang naman kami ng nilagay na purpose and yet approved yun akin.) may nabasa naman ako sa kabila na 3k saka 8-10k lang per month ang sweldo pero may ITR na naipresent tapos ayun approved visa.

@MaRiA CLaRa, i think mas ok kung sa Canada ka kukuha kesa dito sa pinas. yun isang kasama namin denied kasi dito sya kumuha, docs cannot be verified daw.

^^oo, dapat winter get-up ka na. as of now, 7degC na ang temperature and to think it's still October. Around December, it is expected that temperature drops at negative degrees. As for boots, marami naman outlet or surplus shops sa Phils. I think you can find cheap boots there unless you plan to invest, then go for durable leather boots.
