My parents are looking for an extra car for them that has low downpayment. They just need it for running errands etc. Please help. Thanks

eto din hanap ko now kase for running errands lang kase di naman ako lage nbyahe ng malayo ang home based naman work ko. may nakita ako before, Kia RIO 80K DP, 12k+ monthly for 5 years. I don't know kung may mas mababa pa. eto yung luma RIO ha. yung Rio HB kase 116k (ata) DP plus 17k+ monthly.

sis, why not buy a second hand car instead of a new one if pang errands lang naman?

^ hi sis, actually kinonsider na din namin yan but the thing is wala kami alam sa mga sasakyan and wala kami kakilala who really knows kung pano kumilatis ng used cars kaya baka hindi ok yung mabili if 2nd hand.

My brother got a brand new Ford Fiesta 99k downpayment, 14k plus monthly for 5 years.

how about hyundai accent? nasa 500k+ lang siya so if 5yrs to pay i am sure mura lang downpayment.

Just don't get a China-made car. Not unless things have changed ay those didn't pass crash safety tests.

Instead of a car why not have a jeep or one assembled to your specs? At 500k nice na yun mabuo mo and in the design you want pa. Yun lang I have no idea where you can avail of such good services na nowadays.

As for errands lang naman ay one with good cargo space, simple yet reliable drive system and fuel efficient ang nice. Yun hindi rin takaw pansin.

Yun Echo Verso would be a nice candidate though 2nd hand na lang ata mayroon nun nowadays. Its the modern equivalent ng station wagon.

since ang depreciation value ng brand new car is 80K agad within the first year, why not a 2nd hand car?
