What to do when Third-trimester insomnia strikes?
« on: September 27, 2012, 08:34:59 PM »
I'm on my 33weeks now and I find it so hard to sleep and I always experience heart burn, shortness of breath and feeling overheated. What do you do to relieve yourself from these. Help mga sissies. TIA  ;)

God's time is always PERFECT!

hay, me too!  :-\ i'm also 34 weeks. i've been using extra pillows (thanks, hubby lol) to prop myself up while sleeping para the acid isn't so bad. i try to make sure to get exercise during the day -- at the minimum, walking for about 30 mins. i take a cool shower before bed. :)

though it doesn't eliminate the insomnia completely, it helps a bit. :)

pa-join. i am on my 34th week, hindi lang ako makatulog kaagad pag-higa sa bed. hihiga na kami ng mga 1230, pero mga 1+ na ako nakakatulog. ewan ko ba. laging ganoon. ang gising namin is usually 8am, since sariling business, pero si baby talagang nafi-feel ko nang-gigising na pag-7am na, naninipa both sides of my tummy, super likot talaga!!! BTW, im sleeping on my left kapag naglilikot sya. ewan ko ba kung sobrang nasisilaw sya araw, although my curtain naman kami, dahil kapag iikot na ako sa right side, ayun, behave na ulit si baby. =) nakaka-short sleep ulit ako.
and one more thing, sometimes nagigising ako ng nakahiga, basang basa lagi likod ko at oily na ng buhok ko, its true super init lagi ng pakiramdam...pero konting tiis na lang mga mommy, few more weeks!!!  ;)

Na experience ko ang grabeng insomia during the first month of pregnancy. As in grabe hindi talaga ako makatulog.  4-5am na ako nakakatulog then gigising ng 9am to go to work.

Insomia ba?

34 weeks na din ako, kaninang hapon we went to OB, had my Anti-Tetanus and Flu vaccine and sabi ni OB 1cm na pero mataas pa so she adviced maglakad lakad daw.
Wishing that forgiving is as easy as saying Hello :(

When i was pregnant and in my third tri i would wake up constantly at night, every  1.5-2 hours, either to pee, or my back/hips hurt or leg cramp. I'd watch tv nalang or surf the internet if i couldn't sleep again

I'm on my 32nd week now ang sobra talagang hirap matulog, (though GY ako pag weekdays) haha  :D

During weekends, if I sleep early, like 8 or 9pm, for sure magigising ako ng mga 2-3am non. Tapos, if I sleep naman ng 10-11pm, usually 5-530 am ang gising ko unless 11pm, or midnight nako matutulog, mga 7-8am na ang gising ko non. Ang kulit ng sleep pattern ko and in the middle of sleeping, babangon ka talaga to pee.

Ayun. That's the routine I have been dealing with for months now, but it's super okay lang  ;) :)

i'm 36w6d today, last saturday inabot ako ng 5am hindi parin nakakatulog.
