uy, may new thread na pala. naiwan na ako. :)

Finally gave in and tried Kindle. Grabe, didn't know what I was missing! Super sarap magbasa compared to my iPad! To think it's almost a fraction of the price. Sulit!

i'm biased so i'll say go for Kindle  ;) there's a new one i've heard. it's called paperwhite. if di kayo sanay na kelangan ng external light source, that kindle version comes with built in light. i still dont know any specific about the light thing. i have kindle 3, the one with keyboard, and considering buying a paperwhite din since it's different with the one i have. i cant compare with the other famous e-reader, yung Nook, kasi i dont have one.  :)

I'd say go for Kindle Fire HD. Super sulit, mas mura pa kaysa Ipad. If you want a paper-like ebook reader, try the  Kindle E-ink (69 usd) with wifi. Yun na pinakamurang ebook reader na worth it for me.
next on the price range would be barnes and noble's nook (88.75) , then paperwhite (119 usd); not sure how the 3G paperwhite would perform in Pinas (179 usd).
It is our choices that show what we truly are,far more than our abilities

ako naman, i'd ask what format of ebooks are you reading?  if mostly ePub, i dont suggest Kindle.  :-\  pero kung marami naman kindle format and you dont mind converting your files to kindle format, go for Kindle devices. ok sya at mura pa.

ang nainis lang ako initially sa kindle kasi mahirap gumawa ng gumawa ng collections if mag-mass transfer ka ng files (like mga 300 ebooks) tapos siyempre gusto mo iorganize yun. you cant make your collections kasi in calibre. di siya tulad na if you'll upload songs in your ipod, mabilis lang gumawa ng playlist. may ginamit akong software, nakalimutan ko na kung ano, idk if i'm doing something wrong. it's a hit and miss and when i try to fix the miss mawawala lahat ng pinaghirapan ko. buti na lang matiyaga ako. i did that a lot of times. failed a lot of times until i just manually made my collections sa kindle mismo.

i'm OC kasi. di ako mapakali if di organize yung ebooks ko. kaya ayun.

yan gamit ko to organize the ebooks on my kindle on my pc. soooooo much easier than doing it on the kindle itself! :D
