^^ haha natawa ako dun ah :) 2nd thread na, wala pa rin accomplishment.

Pano pa kaya sya may ma-accomplish, mukhang naghahanda na sila for election next year. Wala na attention nya sa pagtatrabaho.

nice move PNoy, appointing Mar to the DILG post para mapalapit sa mga local officials. Your government is a long running teleserye.

http://manilastandardtoday.com/2012/09/05/aquinos-pork-barrel-p317b/

Quote
President Benigno Aquino III has created a special fund containing P317.58-billion in pork barrel that could be turned into a campaign kitty to support administration candidates in the 2013 elections, former national treasurer and Social Watch Philippines convenor Leonor Briones said Tuesday.

“This P317 billion [in the Special Purpose Fund] is one big pork barrel that can be used for election purposes. Only the President is allowed by the Constitution to tap the P317 billion in the undisclosed, hidden and vague SPF, whichever way he may see fit,” Briones said.
...
Briones’ group has been lobbying Congress to disclose details of the Special Purpose Fund. FOI NOW!!!
...
“While it is legal for the President to create a Special Fund, in this case the P317 billion Special Purpose Fund, the Palace has no right to duplicate budgetary items and place them under the sole discretion of the President,” Briones added.
...

She referred to the “new outlay” of P22.42 billion in Priority Social and Economic Projects Fund under SPF when she said there was already P44 billion allocated to the Conditional Cash Transfer Program.

Briones also questioned a P70.8-billion allocation for Budgetary Support to Government Corporations in the Special Purpose Fund,
when there was already P16.82 billion set aside for this purpose, and P60.86 billion in the Debt Management Program, both under Unprogrammed Funds.

exactly the same thing arroyo did. i wonder what his loyal supporters would say? mag-iingay din kaya sila tulad nung pag-iingay nila for the past years? iko-condemn din kaya nila si noynoy like they did kay arroyo?

tuwid na daan nga naman. ano na naman kayang drama ang sasabihin ni noynoy? ano na naman kaya ang palusot nya? actually, i understand or lets say expected na talaga yan in philippine politics. you need to fatten up your congress, your senate. what i hated about this guy is sya na yata ang patron ng mga hypocrites at trapo sa pinas. and to think, no concrete accomplishment pa din sya till date.

naku sis, kung sa tv, wala talaga tayong maaasahan especially abs-cbn. basically, it was the media (tv in particular) who made noynoy the person that he was not and made his parents the saint and hero they never were. :(

Isuzu warns it may follow Ford's lead, shut down local DMax assembly business
By: Likha Cuevas-Miel, InterAksyon.com

MANILA - Isuzu Philippines Corporation on Friday served notice that it may shut down its local assembly operations amid high costs.

In a briefing, the Japanese carmaker's executives said the company will have to stop production of the DMax pickup truck next year, as local assembly costs $2,000 more than in Thailand.

The company said it would go the way of Ford Motor Philippines, which earlier announced it was shutting down its assembly operations.

Isuzu used to be among the top three motor vehicle manufacturers in the Philippines, particularly when its Asian utility vehicle lineup had enjoyed tax perks. Since the incentive ended, the company's share of the market has gone down.

Established in the 1950s, the Philippine unit of Isuzu made its mark through its lineup of trucks. On August 7, 1995, Isuzu Philippines Corporation was born as a joint venture among two Japanese firms - Isuzu Motors Limited and Mitsubishi Corporation - and two Filipino companies - Ayala Corporation and Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation.

Isuzu Philippines has 13 hectares of industrial land at the Laguna Technopark in Bińan, Laguna, where the company has a plant that could produce 15,000 units a year.

In the first eight months of this year, the company enjoyed a 21 percent growth, selling 1,022 units of its N-Series of light-duty trucks for a 69 percent share of that

good luck philippines!

is it true that manny pangilinan threatened to leave the philippines and remove all his investments in the country?

ive also read that noynoy planned to revise philippine history. because he said it was incorrect to say that during the martial law, crime rates were low and philippines was economically wealthy.

obvious naman the investors are not interested. even the foreign missions are not interested. lately when we're hit by typhoons, may country ba nag donate ng aid? wala. us, japan or australia stayed away. masigasig lang ang mga ngos and red cross natin.

ive heard most government agencies dont enjoy the same benefits as they used to, siguro kasi cost-cutting. but mas mataas ang budget for pork barrel ngayon as compared to before. so nasaan ang cost-cutting? tinanggal ang mga traceable expenses pero tinaasan naman ang mga funds that will be unaudited and to be spent upon the discretion of some people in power? hay naku para sabihin lang na nagtitipid, tatanggalin ang benefits ng mga govt employees. bakit kaya hinde baguhin ang sistema ng pork barrel, like kelangan audited sya and may cost-control talaga. hinde yata kaya ang galit ng congress eh, just like arroyo and the previous admin. so anong difference ni noynoy?

then, someone told me that noynoy said that OFWs were not his priority now. well, naku kung kaya lang talaga ng mga OFW na wag ng padalhan ng pera ang mga tao sa pinas, kahit isang buwan lang, baka biglang makaroon ng great depression sa pinas. hay naku si noynoy talaga parang hinde nag-iisip. sana kahit hinde nya priority, wag nalang nyang ipangalandakan pa.
