I believe Kristen issued a public apology because that's the thing you do when an issue goes public. It certainly would have been easier to sweep it under the rug, which is exactly what Rupert Sanders seems to be doing, but I don't think Kristen had that choice. Not with those pictures and not with her status. I'm not a fan of any of these people but hey, she apologized and her career will probably take a nosedive. I don't see what else she could have done after this unfortunate turn of events. So I don't really understand what else people are expecting to happen, other than the sick tendency of an angry mob to wish for something worse.
To me, they're equally accountable. It's infuriating though that the typical female response, particularly here on GT, is to pin the biggest blame on women. Sometimes, I wonder if some women are bigger misogynists than men.
And not that it's of any significance but I actually think Kristen is the hotter one between her and Robert. I also think that if it had been the other way around, if Robert had cheated on Kristen, he wouldn't have incurred this much wrath. We'll have people go, "eh si Kristen naman kasi..." Ayos.
