Thanks for everyone who shares I am going to start my IVF na rin, I will be under the care of Dr. Ancheta.  Husband will undergo Testicular biopsy so we have sperm during my retrieval day.  Wish me luck din mga sis.

Hi sisses! Anyone here has a feedback on repro-optima cebu? Had a friend who had initial consultation na dun and said it's looks promising. They follow australian protocol. After my miscarriage last yr, from my 2nd IVF in Taichung, I'm thinking of having another round pero dito na lang kasi ang hirap talagang mawala nang matagal sa business. My first BFN IVF was with Dr.Novero. Sana may makapagshare about Cebu IVF...

Had my Embryos transfer na mga sis, rest mode na ako During my retrieval may konting pain after pero kaya naman.  8 eggs collected, lahat mature, then 3 natransfer back still have 4 frozen.  I met their Hongkong counterpart na embryologist si Ms. Anita.  They have been very nice and helpful and I feel confident din with how everybody treated me.  A long 14day wait itooooo, but I pray na POSITIVE!!   So far, mataas pregnancy rate nila and may nakasabay akong patients na 5week scans na so I guess that's a good sign right.  They said maki trending daw ako, Good luck sa amin ni hubby! will take a break from the forum muna, See you in 14 dayss hehe nirepost ko na lang mga sis para mashare ko sa lahat hehe

egg retrieval and transfer 40k PF ni doc.  Akala ko higher siya compare sa ibang doc but below my budget pa nga.

I am still doing my usual activity but no heavy lifting, taas baba ng stairs, anything na pwede maka upset ng stomach, super acidic na food, and prevent anything na makakalagay ng pressure sa lower abdomen.  I got these advice from lhat ng staff ng Victory, they said the same thing kaya I followed.  Less travelling and no high heels muna sis.  Long weekend ahead kaya may excuse ako do use the computer hehe I try to avoid staying long sa internet and tv, I keep myself occupied with mommy books

pinkstar712000  sis, posted on the other thread, I got a positive result 700+ Kasabayan kami ni sis Mazelan, she is on her 6th week na.  I am one step there, next scan ko is to check for my GS and heartbeat.

It's been a while since i posted on ivf thread...  Na-move kasi plan namin coz ang dami nangyari... In short, nagastos namin money suppossedly for ivf    For a good reason naman but husband and I are talking about it again and hoping matuloy last quarter this year basta mabuo namin fund for this (we're halfway there already... I know GOD will provide :-)

Actually, ikaw talaga inaabangan ko maging positive    Naikwento kita kay husband and I told him we will seek Doc Pastorfide's opinion once may mag positive sa kanya.  And ikaw na nga yun Sis!    Kumbaga, it's a sign for us to give it a try... My boss actually recommended him to me before pa but was hesitant as I thought pricey siya (bilang kilala nga siya OB ng mga artista :-)

Am so happy for you :-)  Sobrang nabuhayan ako ng loob and very excited na rin...
I hope you can share your experience here as I know most of our Sisses wants to know at least the breakdown of expenses para mapaghandaan namin and will know what to expect pag kami naman

Sis nique32 / pinkstar712000 pano kayo nakapagpapaappointment at nagpahandle kay Dr. Greg Pastorfide? pagpunta niyo ba ng Victory siya na kaagad ang humandle sa inyo?

By the way nagpa hystero na ako sa isang hospital and what they saw was my 2 tubes are blocked, may endometriosis din po kasi ako.  so IVF na lang po ba yung pwede sa amin?

marami affiliated docs sa Victory, we just chose Dr.Greg per recommendation and good reputation na rin.  I am happy na naging successful first try namin. Still hoping tuloy2x na

How many gonal F per day/ how many IU per injection?how much?
Others meds per day?
Doctors fee?

Hopefully other sis who had a successful
Ivf can provide this details.. It can help new members who are weighing options
And can help them decide better. Especially with dr pastorfide who is well known inthe philippines na mataas ang ivf fee.. It can help as to know na affordable kaya pala natin fer nya di naman pala ganun ka mahal.. Thanks

Mga sis, here: I tried to be as accurate as possible sa expenditures namin:

Ttc-7 years, since wedding day
34 yo
Hubby- 10M poor motility, 2% normal accdg sa latest semenalysis (600php test)
Me- regular period, normal [textspeak!] Lahat, Unexplained
Initial recommendation IUI but we decided to do IVF
Tried to stay fit prior to seeing and deciding the doctor
OB- Dr. Greg Pastorfide

Consultation fee/ lab visit - free (schedule for an appointment)
Dr. Greg visit- I think 1500 ,Bsta later 800 na lang

Meds- GonalF (2 amps) 3000/amps = 6000x10= 60,000
( he didn't increased my dose kasi I had like 10 follicles, and ok naman size daw)

        Cetrotide = 5000x5 = 25,000
      (I think we injected on day7)

       Ovidrel = 10000 HCG injection
       (2 days  prior to OPU) 9pm

   Consultations/ scans= 1600 x 12 days = 20000

Egg retrieval= 135,000 Victory
Anesthesiologist = 20,000 they said it will depend sa number ofmedicine infused
PF ni doc= 40,000
Tractocile= 20,000 uterine relaxant during embryo transfer
Embryo freezing= 6000/ yr

I think that's all, also cyclogest kasi ibought it before retrieval,I don't know how much

I am newbie in this thread and I have been reading stuff that some sisses posted.  I am 34yo and have primary endometriosis, husband is healthy and will do semenalysis to double check.  I am not sure if IVF will be the best deal for us but hope IUI can help us conceive. 

from my previous readings, meron 4 IVF center sa Phils, Victory-CRM-CARMI-ReproOptima.

What can is the basis for choosing a lab?
Which Doctor?
May factor ba ang embryologist?


Kindly share your experiences mga sis.  Will greatly appreciate it.  Thanks.
