@sis bio and sis Wonderweiss: I booked The One Exclusive as our OTD coordinator 2 years before our wedding. Sobrang aga but oks lang rin kasi at least I locked their rates na and may this is it feeling with them eh. Regarding naman kung baka hindi sila super helpful now, well ako rin mismo kasi ang hindi kumokontact sa kanila as of the moment kasi nga matagal pa naman wedding ko. Pabayaan ko muna silang asikasuhin yung mga 2012 and 2013 clients. Hehe. If you are hands-on naman sa preps mo, you don't need to contact them every time.

@angellush: inuuna na kasi namin yung mga non-nego namin para sureball na kami. Haha. saka sayang rin kasi ang price locks eh. Ang tagal na nga ng December, gusto ko nang magbook ng church para matapos na. Haha! San pala reception niyo?

Hi everyone, may alam ba kayo kung saan pwede kumuha ng copy ng checklist? I want to have one kasi so I can track everything about our wedding.

@yana284: Onga natuwa nga ako nung nakita ko na same day tayo. hehe! Tagal pa kasi ng reservation sa Santuario eh, nakakainip. haha! Pero nagresearch narin ako ng mga possible suppliers and venues kaya meron narin kami shortlist para madali na once nakapag-book na kami ng Church. Para after din ng Church, tuloy tuloy na yung ibang major suppliers. Siguro hanap din kayo ng option 2 for the venue kasi mahirap talaga pag hindi nag-rereply yung contact niyo. Baka ikaw lang ma-stress pag malapit na ang wedding. Good luck nga satin lahat.

Meron sa bridalbook.ph.. Pero dapat yata mag sign up ka as a member para ma-access mo yun. Pero helpful din naman siya kasi pwede mo ma-organize yung mga chosen suppliers mo dun sa website. Halos lahat na kasi andun eh. Good luck!

Haha! Nakakatense nga eh. Kaya todo bantay ako sa calendaryo para pagpatak ng December, diretso agad sa SSJ para magbook. Mahirap nang maagawan pa ng date! Kami naman sis, sa North Greenhills Clubhouse kaso January pa daw sila tatanggap ng 2014 bookings. Kaya ayun, hintay hintay muna ulit kami. Sa ngayon, caterer ang pinagkakaabalahan ko hehe. Puro food tastings!

pwede na ba magpabook ng hmua and gown designer as early as now. saka yung mga speaker, emcee, honeymoon as early as now? meron ba nakapagpabook na sa inyo mga sis?

@angellush: hay, ngayon naghahanap na kami ng 2nd option sa venue kasi super turned off na talaga ako dun sa una naming choice dahil sa mga nangyayari. imagine, napakalayo pa nung event pero ngayon pa lang binigyan na nya ako ng stress? what more pag malapit na yung wedding di ba? and to think na yung contact person dun sa venue heard from someone na i'm waiting for his feedback and he did not even bother to call or text or email me to check if i have questions pa. super poor customer-focus. i wonder if he would have done this had he known that my h2b's mom knows their company's president. sorry for the vent; i just need to let that out. i really wish none of you girls here would experience this.

@ hanson15: you can check with the suppliers if open na yung 2014 nila for bookings. depende kasi yun eh. i've inquired with a couple of gown designers already. some of them sa january pa tatanggap ng 2014 bookings, but there were some na tumatanggap na as early as now. i suggest you look na for suppliers and check with them kelan sila tatanggap for 2014. it helps din talaga to inquire as early as now para you'll have a better idea kung tama ba yung budget na si-net mo or you need to revise it.

btw, they're will be a bridal fair sa nbc tent this weekend (aug 4-5) and next month sa smx (mall of asia). nice mag-attend and to look around for suppliers para lang may better idea tayong b2b. plus you get a list of participating suppliers na pwede mong tawagan or i-email after the event to inquire.

thanks sis! actually nalungkot ako nung umattend sa bridal fair at sumakit ang ulo ko. kasi sa sinet namin na budget queensland lang ang tumama na suppliers hehe. kaya ang adjust kami ng budget 150k kasi initial budget pero ngayon 200k plus at sagad na ang 240k with honeymoon hehe

@hanson15: okay lang yan.. at least you get to have a better idea kung ano yung realistic at ano yung hindi. syempre, yung sa mga wedding fairs, mejo mahal yung mga suppliers dun, but i think sila yung talagang nagdedeliver. kami naman ni h2b, we decided na which suppliers to get sa fair (like p&v, photobooth, and possibly caterer/venue and strings) to be able to avail of the discounts, and which suppliers are better off na dito sa gt or sa web i-source. we also decided to get yung invitations sa fair pero siguro 50pcs lang, and then the rest ako na lang gagawa ng simple na invitation para mas makatipid kami, kasi di naman lahat ng guests kelangan malaman pa yung buong entourage namin. for sure itatapon lang rin naman nila yun after the wedding

the misalettes rin, ako ang gagawa kesa magbayad pa kami sa labas.

@hanson15: naku sis, minsan yun ang malungkot pag medyo matagal ang wedding. Habang tumatagal, parang lalong tumataas ang budget. Haha! Before, naset naming budget ay 250K pero ngayon 370K na! But sa tingin ko naman kaya na ang 250k all in basta research lang. Kaya lang tumaas budget namin ng ganyan kasi ang daming arte ni h2b. dami niyang gustong request hahaha.

But to answer your question, better yet to ask the suppliers when sila nag-aaccept ng 2014 weddings. Luckily mga suppliers ko, tumatanggap na kaya nalock ko rates nila.

Hello Ladies! I'm also a Feb 2014 bride and haven't booked anything yet, although I have made a few inquiries na with a few suppliers (grabe ang mahal pala magpakasal!!!),. It's just hard to decide for me kasi my fiance and I are both working overseas so I'm really doing everything online. Ang hirap kasi we definitely can't base our decision on what we see lang on the websites/photos. But anyway, we plan to come home this Christmas so hopefully by then makakapag-book n kami, wish ko lang it won't be too late at available pa sila. Best wishes everyone

at tama ka, ang mahal talaga!

Naku, mas mahirap nga pag overseas.. You can't rely solely on pics. May church na ba kayong shortlisted? If you do, baka you can ask relatives or friends to inquire kung nagaacept na sila ng 2014 bookings at kung available pa yung date na gusto nyo. Para at least kung booked na, you can start looking elsewhere, at kung hindi pa, you can narrow your reception venue search as early as now.

^^Hi sis mariee.clare! Pareho din pala tayo ng situation. I'm also a Feb 2014 bride tapos overseas din ako. Tama ka sobrang mahal nga magpakasal!! haha!

Buti nalang yung h2b ko nasa Philippines kaya siya yung pumupunta and nag-inquire sa mga suppliers that I researched online. Wala parin kami na-book. Nagresearch palang ako ng mga suppliers pero ang hirap nga na mag-rely sa Internet. As much as gusto ko maging hands-on bride, hindi talaga pwede. Like ng sinabi ni sis yana284, it's good na malaman niyo na if nag-accept na ng reservation yung church na gusto niyo. Para naman ma-narrow down mo narin yung paghahanap ng mga suppliers. Pero buti ka pa makakauwi before the wedding para makapag-plan ng lahat. Sana ako rin pero kailangan magtipid for the wedding.. hehe!! Good luck!

church and venue yung nedd talaga puntahan dito kami nagtagal. yung iba like caterer ang priority ko kasi food styling and mura basta ok ang food. so im planning to book madels for october. so far wala pako nakikita na mas affordable sa kanila kaya wala akong ibang ft. hehe sayang nga eh kasi hindi ko kinukuha ang priveledge ng ft hhehe

. Actually Christian wedding kami, so plan namin is yung ceremony eh dun na rin sa kung saan gaganapin ang reception, so medyo bawas stress (sana!)

Sis angellush, ako din gusto ko sana hands-on, I'm counting to my only sister sana kaso super busy nman sya sa work (but she promised to free up some time), and the rest naman ng kapatid ko puro lalaki na kaya wala ako maasahan. H2b is non-filipino so obviously walang relatives and friends sa Pinas, yung mga friends ko naman almost lahat pamilyado na at may mga kids na kaya I really feel helpless and I'm on my own

... Iniisip ko tuloy kumuha na lang ng coordinator, although ang mahal din nila ha pag full coordination.. $:-\$ Buti na lang may online community na tulad nito, dami mapipick at matutunan from other brides...

@mariee.clare: ang hirap naman pala nyan, wala talaga magaassist sayo. i suggest sis maginquire ka na rin sa mga coordinator, kasi baka meron naman na kasya sa budget nyo. kasi if yung sister mo lang talaga yung maasahan, tapos as you have mentioned, mejo busy pa sya sa work, baka mangarag na sya, kawawa naman. also, it would really help to have a coordinator kahit yung OTD lang para on your wedding day, may magaassist talaga sa flow nung preparation, ceremony, program, etc. at para hindi na yung friends/family members mo yung nagpapanic kung ano nang next na gagawin. since they are also guests, mas maganda kung ma-enjoy nila yung wedding mo and celebrate it with you.

@sis yana284 - I super agree sa sinabi m na need ng coordinator sa OTD, tama ka if we will leave it to our family/friends hindi nila maeenjoy ang wedding kasi mas magiging focus sila sa what to do next.. and marami sila ma-mi-miss

I had a friend na sya ang coordinator sa wedding ng sis nya, she ended up not having photos with the couple kasi paikot ikot at ngarag sya tlaga..

So isasama ko tlaga ang coordinator sa checklist

^OTD coordinators will really help you kasi may mga mababait na coor na will help you mga 2mos before your wedding.

Ako naman, adik sa FT. Haha. Kahit lagpas sa budget yung caterer, nag-ssign up pa rin ako for FT to see if pwede namin siyang isama sa shortlist. But, mukhang Ma Del's talaga ang kukunin namin. Sabi nga ni h2b, iba daw ang naramdaman niyang sarap nung natikman niyang Ma Dels. May This Is It na daw siyang naramdaman! Haha! Cant wait for October to book her na para makalipat na kami sa ibang suppliers hehe. Pero in the meantime, FT lang ng FT.
