sis anong part ng pork nlagay mo? did you have to fry it with the tofu?

Cool idea i saw from Pinterest. Hehe i'm excited to make one! :D

Brownie in a Mug
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
Pinch salt
2 Tbsp canola or other mild vegetable oil
2 Tbsp milk, coffee or water
1 mini chocolate bar, such as Reese’s peanut butter cup, Oh Henry, Wunderbar, Caramilk, etc., chopped- optional

In a heatproof mug or ramekin, stir together the dry ingredients until no lumps remain. Stir in the oil and milk until you have a thick paste. Stir in the chopped chocolate bar(s).

Microwave on high for a minute, checking it after 30 seconds (microwaves vary) — it will be done when it’s springy on top but still a bit gooey — like the very best brownie. Eat warm.

Peanut Butter Cookie in a Cup
1 Tablespoon of Butter
1 Tablespoon of Peanut Butter
1 Tablespoon of firmly packed Dark Brown Sugar
1 Tablespoon of Granulated White Sugar
2-3 drops of Pure Vanilla Extract {a splash}
Small pinch of Kosher Salt
1 egg yolk
3 level Tablespoons of All-Purpose Flour
Crushed Peanuts for topping

Melt peanut butter and butter together in microwave for about 30 seconds. Add sugars, salt and vanilla and stir to combine. Add egg yolk and stir again. Add flour and give a final stir. Sprinkle peanuts on top and heat in microwave for around 45 seconds. Microwaves vary, so start checking for doneness at 35 seconds. Serve warm!

sisses, share ko lang tong recipe ko ng tofu sisig. mura na, easy pang gawin. :)

Tofu Sisig

2 pcs tofu, cut into cubes about 3/4 inch
1 onion, chopped
2 siling pang sigang, sliced
3 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp soy sauce
1/4 tsp salt
a dash of pepper
1 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp mayonnaise
3 tbsp water

- fry tofu until light brown then drain using paper towels
- mix mayo, oyster sauce, soy sauce, salt, pepper, sugar and water in a bowl
- saute onion and sili then add the tofu
- add the oyster sauce mixture and let it simmer
- adjust according to taste then serve

pwede nyong bawasan yung sili if hindi kayo masyadong mahilig sa maanghang or alisin yung buto ng sili. i prefer kasi na naghahalo yung sweet, spicy saka pagkasalty nya. enjoy!

btw, i cooked this yesterday and i added cream dory fillets which i fried together with the tofu.. yummy!
hi sis dhee dhee..  I will try your recipe too!  May I know what kind of tofu you used?  kc diba maraming klase ang tofu? meron yun silk type na no need to cook puwede lang isama sa sabaw, then may firm type and other type pa?  hope to hear from you, I am desperately in need of recipe for my daughter's baon.  She happens to like tofu pa naman, so am hoping she'll like this recipe  :) Thanks!

^hello sis! chinese tofu ang usually ginagamit ko for this. sa market ko lang nabili, bale nakastyro sya tapos nakapack. sorry, hindi ko alam sis if silk type sya eh. :) pero pwede rin kahit yung mga tokwa lang sa palengke ang gamitin, just make sure that it's fresh. i cooked this today and yung usual tokwa lang sa palengke ang available, same pa rin naman kinalabasan. ang pansin ko lang na difference between the two: mas matagal iprito yung chinese tofu, it takes a while before it turns golden brown. siguro dahil mas malambot sya, hindi kagaya nung tokwa lang sa palengke, parang mas firm kasi yun. hth! :)

^thanks sis for the prompt reply..  I think I'll try the firm type for your recipe cause baka madurog if I use the silk type.  I'm not sure kc if my daughter will like the tokwa.  I'm excited na to cook your recipe.  Thanks again :)

yung pinaka laman lang sis. separate kong niluto yung pork kasi gabi ko na nilagay yun eh. puro tokwa lang nung tanghali. hehe.
