Booked our accommodation at Bolod for our Feb trip. Sa DBR2 sana kami ni hubby pero ang labo kausap nun sa reservations.Baka daw mag-increase pa sila tapos kahit magbigay na ng DP now with the current rate, baka me additional pa babayadan pagdating dun.

Galing si Mommy ko sa Bellevue this afternoon and she was advised that their promo of 50% off for the deluxe room has been extended to Jan 3-31, 2013 (black out dates during the Christmas holidays). So pwede pa makahabol kami next year!  :)

Positive and negative review about Bohol

My first encounter in Bohol was a bit unpleasant, we started around 9 am, we then proceeded to our scheduled countryside tour, it was Saturday then and there were really lots of tourists, foreign and local tourist. Our driver/guide was kuya mike ( tatsky's driver) hes using an old blue kia sportage, aircon was good, smells good so no problem even if twas an old car, and the rate of the rental was just right enough.

First stop was the HINAGDANAN CAVE, the cave is really beautiful i guess if not too much tourists inside the cave. With our experience, we really didnt enjoy that much since it was so hot inside because of too much tourist inside a small cave. The Local guides are really good in taking pictures even how dark it was, they are humorous and made us laugh even in the situation of having a lot of people inside a dark cave.

We then proceeded to the main island of Bohol, next stop was the Blood Compact, (fake site according to kuya mike) then Baclayon Church (oldest in Bohol) Python and then lunch at Loboc River.

In Loboc, Our guide suggested that we will take the River Watch Floating Restaurant, Kuya mike assisted us, but really it was so stressful, napaka haba ng pila, parang palengke na ang Tourism Complex ng Loboc, and one more thing, the reservation officer of the floating restaurant told us that we need to wait for about 15-30 minute. An airconditioned waiting area with free wi-fi access was pointed to us by kuya mike and told us to stay there until our boat is ready. We offered kuya mike to come with us for our lunch, but he insisted that he will just eat in a nearby carenderia, so we just handed him some amount for his lunch. After waiting for about 30 minutes, our boat still isn't ready, came an hour, we were still not notified, and we were so hungry plus the buzzling crowd that the 2 huge airconditioning of the Complex can't accommodate plus some infants are playing and some are crying. Weeeeeeeew to cut it short, we were awarded with STRESS.. hahahaha but eventaully after almost two hours of waiting, our boat is now ready. Good thing the Lobc River Watch do offer a lot of delicious food, but the wait is really a big stress to us.

After our lunch, kuya mike drove us to the Tarsiers, the odor of his car during this time is now unpleasant, i guess maybe because he smokes a lot every during stop and it caused me headache plus the winding road, and in addition to that, kuya mike is really madaldal with his nonsense joke. I dont know if gusto lang makabawi ni kuya sa tagal ng pag-antay namin sa lunch kaya sya napilitan magpatawa or that is just his norms.

But please to all drivers in Bohol, if you smoke a lot, please take some chewing gum/ breathe freshener!!! and sometimes mas nakakatawa ang mga jokes kapag di natin pinipilit. Sorry!!!

Our first experience in Bohol was not that good, but i guess it can be categorized as okey. QWe were able to visit all the spots that kuya tatsky promised to us, yun nga lang HAGGARD!!! hahaha, siguro bahala na kung mabaho man ng yosi ang car at least we were safe and to think we just paid them 2,000 but the hassle every-time you need to line up to pay for entrances and specially during lunch was unbearable.

In our resort, Maam Cathy wife of Kuya Tastky helped us booked the resort, we stayed in Whites and Greens. The Place is quiet, Calm, and Peaceful. Rooms are quiet old but its okey, aircon works good, but the water is quiet salty. Overall experience in our resort was NICE.

The Sea Tour and Island Hopping was also NICE, we got to see some Dolphins, the boat we used was in a good condition and the rate that kuya tasky was really cheap.

In Balicasag, there were a lot of locals that wats to sell you something. From aqua shoes to souvenirs and etc... makukulit sila, but its okey, ang hindin okey was we paid 100 per person for a puddle boat and a local guide, but when we arrived to the said sanctuary, ayun pwede lang pala malakad. ahahah PERA PERA LANG?

Virgin Island. NICE

Continuation...

MY 2nd time in Bohol... just a few week ago, we were in Bohol and it was my second time, and during this time, i volunteered to do the resevations in Bohol (resorts and tours) para if ever something unpleasant experience will occur, ill have to blame myself. hehe

From October ive been reading forums and reviews from blogs about Bohol and some tour guides. I came accross with Paul Incon, tried to contact them through email and they responded to my queries and handled our requests really well. I do appreciate the way they presented me their offers, it was neat, very inviting and artistic as well. The quotation page and itinerary is complete from all the important details that we need to know, they really emphasized whats included or not from their Hassle-free Package. I called Paul Incon the owner of Incon Tours just to make sure that he is gonna assign us to his best driver and told him about my  1st experience in Bohol and promised me that he's going to handle our group.

Paul Incon understands well about our concern so he designed an itinerary taht fits our likes/needs/wants for us to enjoy much without compromising the main reason why we travel and take a vacation. When i checked the IT that he designed for us, i give it a go because all the most important spots wre listed, and its not too hectic that we need to rush the tour plus he assigned our river cruising for the night cruise (but for this arrangement we need to add-up 200 per person from our normal package rate since the night cruise is expensive than day cruise)

ITINERARY:
Blood Compact

Loboc Church (St. Peter Church, name taken from the vessel legazpi used in his voyage, older than baclayon, home to loboc childrens choir, believed to be the place where San Pedro Calungsod got his education, Colegio de Loboc is believed to be the first seminary in Visayas or even in whole asia.)
Hanging Bridge (if you are looking for cheaper souvenirs, the place offers real goodies)

Tarsier

Butterfly (we had our lunch and the food are also great + butterfly ice cream *wink Guides are funny but most of the jokes ay pabalik balik but still they have some new tricks under their sleeves, not lots of butterflies when its about to rain but luckily we avoided the rain!!!)

Chocolate Hills + ATV ( exciting way to enjoy and take a closer look with those hills )

Man-made Forest ( buwis buhay shot is kinda dangerous, but Paul explained to us that we will be able to hear if cars are coming so we give it a go go go...)

After the Forest, since we still have a lot of time before the dinner will be served @ 6:30, we went to the complex and got some malunggay ice cream in Bohol Bee farm Loboc branch then proceeded to a place where Paul describes as little Batanes and its called Morning Hills,

Morning Hills, although on our way up is a bit uncomfy because the road is quiet bumpy and rough but when we reached near the area, our eyes were amazed with what the view offers. its really spectacular. very relaxing, the air to breath is pure, clean, and therapeutic (hahahaha) kasi nakakawala ng stress...

We were so privileged that we took Incon Tour's services that because of them we were able to discover some new places in Bohol. And on top of that, the car we used this time is new, though kuya was using some air freshener gel that i really hated, he then disposed those gel.

Their rate is a bit higher (hundred peso difference) compared to kuya tatsky but we get the advantage of being well taken cared. We need not to worry about the entrance fees and municipal taxes, no need na pipila. ( relax na ralax lang and naka reserved na lahat) all you need to do when you get to every spot is to enjoy, have fun and discover.

The Night Cruise, ang GANDA!!!! i cant believe that im in Bohol, really, its like we are in other country, the lights are amazing, well blended sa nature, napaka relaxing, so romantic, the cool wind that blows to your face while youre cruising, what more you need? The food tastes good but there were not lots of menus to choose from. Anyway food can be found anywhere else, hehe and we travel not just also for the food but fro the experience and to blend with the locals.

On our way back to the resort, Paul made a stop somewhere really dark near a bridge and told us that the place has lots of ghosts. We freaked out, plus suddenly Paul opened the window and we cant stop our self from screaming but when i got to check whats outside? dem!!!! its so Nice and yes twas my first time to see a lot of little ghosts in a tree. hahahaha. This kind of experience is so great!!! WINNER ka KUYA PAUL... ;)

hello, i was in bohol with my family last nov.25-28.. we availed of kuya naldix's 4d/3n package, ok naman si kuya naldix, sumasagot sa lahat ng queries, phone or fb, madali ring pakiusapan sa mga pupuntahan, walang advance payment, we paid in full upon check in sa hotel..his original package include the usual country side tour(blood compact site, river cruise, bilar forest, hanging bridge, baclayon church, shiphouse, prony, butterfly farm, chocolate hills tarsier conservation, loboc adventure park) i opted not to go through the adventure park and asked if we could go to the original site, hinagdanan cave and bee farm, pumayag siya and wala namn additional cost na hiningi) our driver during the tour was jefry, maayos naman kaya lang mejo minadali lang niya kami sa hanging bridge at bilar para makahabol daw sa river cruise na until 1pm lang daw( the t shirt vendors at bilar were saying "ma'am hindi, hanggang 3 pm yun,) so we left (gutom na rin kasi kami haha), sabi rin ni Jefry na ang sabi daw ni kuya naldix is magpapapicture lang daw sa harap ng shiphaus hindi na papasok, since ganun lang pala hindi na kami bumaba to take pictures dahil mainit eh, eh hindi rin kami dinala sa real blood compact site(i let go na lang din kasi ginagabi na) around 5pm na kami sa bee farm kaya ice cream na lang(sarap ng spreads and squash bread)  ....laugh trip ang guides sa hinagdanan may spiel na talaga sila (safe naman yung cave, my 2 year old nephew was with us inside kailangan nga lang careful, ako pa nga nauntog sa railing eh, toinks)So true na ang pinakamurang peanut kisses are sold in prony land, mas mahal pa nga sa palengke.

Seatour was amazing, it was my first time mag snorkel( afraid, kasi hindi rin ako marunong lumangoy :) 2 yung bangkero namin(sabi ni kuya naldix vito ang name ng susundo sa amin  si vito so i assumed one of them was named vito)..relentless talga sila sa pag-hanap ng dolphin, kami na nga ang sumuko eh, thankfully nakakita naman kami.... meron lang akong hindi nagustuhan(it could be miscommunication) Ang sabi kasi ni kuya naldix 150 lang yung guide/pax pag nagsnorkel...wala siyang namention na iba pang babayaran, kaya lang ang sabi nung isa sa bangkero na sumundo sa amin sa hotel, meron pa raw P50 na user's fee per head..pero sinabi niya na kakausapin niya para 200 na lang lahat, since nandun na kami, we paid, pero i was thinking na if official talagang dapat bayaran yung "user's fee" non-negotiable yun di ba?besides, sa lahat ng thread at blogs, never ko pa nabasa yung user's fee,  in fairness naman kay kuya boatman siya kumausap para nadiscount din yung aqua shoes from 150 to 100.

We stayed at Cherrys hill too- ok lang, may friendly na staff merong not so,..malinis ang lugar9big plus) my biggest beef with the place is the aircon, halos hindi lumalamig sa room. pero ideal ang location in a sense kasi malapit sa beach without being too close sa ingay, may convenience stores, walking distance s BPI, marami ring food choices, close enough sa airport.  Ang mahal nga lang talaga ng food sa bohol

i just want to thank everyone who shared their experiences here, very helpful talaga.

^^ rocky, sa Carmen po kami, our guide told us that mas maganda ang view sa Carmen compared to Sagbayan, tapos nag ATV din kasi kami para maiba naman at truly masaya nga ang hatid na experience ng ATV ride. Madali lang naman akyatin ang 214 steps going to the viewing deck, isipin nyo na lang na nag exercise hehe (healthy pa)

Rocky tanung lang, hanggang kelan ba promo sa bellevue, my aunt from canada kasi intresado.. thanx sis
