^^ mukhamo Hi sis, I hope this can help you. Nagcommute lang ako papunta PINR and also pabalik ng Tagbilaran coming from DIBR1 last 2weeks ago when I was in Bohol.

From Tagbilaran, sakay ka ng tricycle at pahatid ka sa Bus Terminal bound for Panglao (8pesos lang yun). Terminal is beside Bohol Museum (not National Museum) along A. Hontanosa's Street, corner J.A. Clarin Avenue. Mababait mga tao dun, you can ask them kung ano yung bus na dadaan ng BBC, DBR and Alona Beach (TAWALA DANAO Signage) maybe mga 20pesos lang yun. Same with what we paid pabalik Tagbiran. Pagbaba mo dun sa kanto (entrance of the resort) if may habal habal, you can ride it for 10pesos, ihahatid ka na nun sa DBR 1or2. If wala, you can walk, malapit lang naman at safe yung daanan. Instead of hiring taxi or tricycle for 300-500 pesos, this is the best and cheapest alternative for 38pesos lang. :)

sisses, help naman. for those who have stayed sa ester lim side of alona (sa paragayo kasi kami nagstay before so we walked a different access road going to the beach), any comments on tiptop hotel?

nakita ko kasi website nila. would you believe P1,800 per night for 4 people? and judging from the photos, the rooms look nice. sa dinami-dami kong naresearch na accommodation, eto yung talagang nagulat ako kasi by the looks of the room, hindi sya mukhang P1,800. so i'm thinking "what's the catch?" here's the link.

im aware it's not beachfront, but can anyone give me an idea how far this is from the beach? and the room photos, how realistic are they?

i'll be going to bohol on jan 17-19 with my parents and brother. mejo hard-to-please tatay ko kaya i'm so pressured to find a room na papasa sa standards nila, quality-wise and budget-wise. hope someone can help me out. thanks!

When we went to Bohol 2 years ago, we stayed at Bohol Bee Farm. We got a huuuge room (Honeycomb suite) for just PHP3.8k per night, and this already includes amazing daily breakfasts for 3 people, and hotel-airport transfers. Tatlo kami, but the room can easily fit 5 people without asking for an extra bed (2 queen size plus one day bed (single bed). According to the website, pwede pang 6 na tao.

I booked via www.myboholguide.com since the rate was cheaper than reserving directly with the place. No regrets with the website since the email support was very friendly and customer-oriented. If I have questions that I need to ask directly to the Bee Farm, tinetext ko na lang and madali din kausap.

Most relaxing vacation we've ever had. The place is as pretty in person as in the pictures on their website (this is rare). Medyo inconvenient lang for the island trip since you have to pay extra para ihatid sa pickup point (500 for 2 way car service to alona). But all in all, great for people na looking for some quiet time and not necessarily magbebeach for the entire stay (for me, ok na yung island hopping namin). Walang sandy beach dun but the seaside is interesting pag super low tide (pwede lakarin waaay out into the sea).

They serve organic food (masarap! but a little on the sweet side) and they also make their own ice cream served on cassava cones (which they also make). Winner yung ice cream. Bow.

@sis igenna, jan kami nag-stay last year. That was dec 15-17. And, okay yung mga rooms nila. Parang hindi nga 1,800 lang eh. Very accommodating pa yung mga staff. Tapos na-meet din namin yung owner ng resort. German ata siya.

Just got back from Bohol ;) BOHOL, ang perfect destination para icelebrate ang lahat na special occassion namen ngayon taon, kaya todo 2x na =) 30th birthday koh, 32nd birthday ni hubby, 9th year bday ni chloe and our 10th year as a couple ...

Panglao Beach is our current #1 beach =) less crowd, more relaxed, that's all what we want... ang clear ng water, ang fine ng sand, kahit mag punta ka sa malayo hndi gnaun kalalim...this is vacayyyy no rush!!.... worth it ang pag balik sa Bohol :-* !!! hndi talaga kumpleto kung hndi mag bebeach dito =)

sa DBR 2 nga pala kame nag stay, sulit na sulit ang stay namen kahit medyo nagkaroon ng medyo onting hassle lalo na dun sa pag reserve nila ng rooms kahit nag call pa ako sa kanila bgo dumating, hhhaayyssttt, medyo may attitude pa yung receptionist nila dun grrrrr.... meron nga pala akong tip: buti na lang to the rescue DBR Grill sa DBR1 (",) from the resort turn right lakad lang sa beach pag gabi hndi pansinin, medyo papasok kasi, pero as in magkatabi lang sa DBR2 kasi mag kapatid naman may ari nun ...abot kaya ang pagkain sa P430 ang dame na namen nakain: 5bbq, 2mini hotdog, sinigang na liempo, bottled water, 1.5coke, kalamansi juice and 6 na rice.. tapos meron pang tindahan sa tabi, mura lang ang tubig nasa P40.00 lang pinakamalaki na Nature Spring at mga paninda, kaya wala ng proproblemahin... nakita ko yung menu ng DBR2 nasa P200-P400/per food order (kalurkey)

Bohol Bee Farm  :-* -- Our cherry top of our trip ♥ 1 night stay at BBF is so lovely, while over looking sa beach with this colorful dim lights...perfect SweeT Escape ♥ HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

ang masasabi ko lang maaassssaarraaapppp ang food nila, as in perfect lahat ng taste, mahilig kasi ako sa mga herbs and spices sa food.. ang kinuha namen is yung meat platter na set meals na mga nasa P1,200 good for 2-3pax servings -- yung sinigang nila na baboy tamang asim, maski yung mga grilled nila na pork, squid, chicken ang sarap ng pag kaka-marinate, yung organic rice na red na hndi ko akalain makakain ko un msarap pala, and also yung lumpia nila with home made na honey mastard, haveeyyy ...the lemon grass drink na house special, i want... plus the pizza, big serving .sulit na sulit ang aming dinner, habang nasa tapat ng beach ng Panglao (",)

"Bohol is not only for Chocolate Hills and Tarsiers.. but for Beach too (",) ...ang ganda ng Pilipinas"

Just got back from Cebu-Bohol trip. Had so much fun without breaking the bank. I highly recommend kuya Naldix (0917-324-1511) for the stress free Bohol tours.
