any ideas on how to handle the continually decreasing value of mining stocks now? unload na or wait it out? may big chance ba that they will bounce back to their former glory? buti nalang hindi malaki share ng mining stocks sa portfolio ko... but my profits from other stocks kinakain lang nila din... any sound advice please?

TRC members, maybe you can share if may tip si brother bo how to handle mining stocks now? i have LC (minimal), MA (minimal din), ORE (super konti) and PX (super dami sa PX, nakakaloka)...  TIA.

^sis I think PX has good fundamentals as copper/gold/silver mines and they are well managed. It just happened that there was an accident but definitely it will bounce back in a year or two, yun kung kaya mong maghintay. In fact naghihiring nga sila ng Engineers lately and I'm even considering on buying PX shares. Averaging will be good I think.

LC, I'm not so confident but they have enough gold reserves and good processing for ores. The other two MA and Ore, I'm not familiar with them. :-[

Finally, I will not recommend mining if pang very long term talaga (30 years or more).

^nakasubscribe ako kay bo sanchez sis and so far maganda mga recommended stocks nya and nagbibigay pa sya ng information about the company kung bakit sya yung recommended nya.

Same tayo sa PX. I am tempted to add more just to do some averaging... pero my golly... pababa lang sya ng pababa... parang bottomless pit. and super laki talaga exposure ko dito...

I am thinking of unloading na sa other mining stocks. Baka PX nalang ipaiwan ko sa portfolio. Thank you for your insights sis. :)

497 a month lang sya sis... roughly 12K a year...

but here's the thing... how much is your money in the stock market? or how much are you plannign to invest?

kasi it's not going to be worth it if you have only 10K in your portfolio (syempre, exagg 'to, although 5K lang minimum sa colfinancial).. the monthly is already 5% of your portfolio na... but if you have a lot of money... maybe it's a different scenario.

I'm planning to add more funds next year na lang. Sa January. Pero if may super maganda ngayon, might as well bilhin ko na. Haven't checked the technical analysis for long kasi long term investment gawa ko.

Any suggestion ano maganda bilhin ko before the year ends para mas masaya na next year?

Thanks in advance!

^sabi nila the best time to start investing is NOW, kaya lang medyo mataas na yung stock market ngayon at hindi din natin alam na by February baka tataas pa lalo. Research more lang sis. :)
