finally I finished back reading from threadI grabi ang drama...merong time na grabi super active
[textspeak!] mga pips and meron ding times na super sad and I learn so much.
So share ko lang experience ko sa mga gustong mag EIP and very thankful ako na naging member ng Truly Rich Club ni Bro Bo kasi it built my character sa investing, lalo na pag-red port mo, si hubby nga minsan gusto na nyang i-pull out
[textspeak!] investment namin but ngaun masaya na
[textspeak!].
[textspeak!] CC ko after mag-end of contract ako sa pagiging Japayuki last year.

We started with about 8K Sept 24, 2010 from then we slowly built our portfolio.
Sept 2010 bought SMPH and MWC
Nov 2010 added ALI sa port
March 2011 added BDO and EDC
May 2011 added BPI
Aug 2011 added JFC and MBT
Apr 2012 added CEB
So bili-bili lang ako every month, minsan nalilimutan kong bumili for particular month, sold nothing...(ako pala nagmamanage ng portfolio)
Our portfolio as of today July 25, 2012
Gains
ALI 32.83%
BDO 5.52%
BPI 28.20%
JFC 9.16%
MBT 25.44%
MWC 27.00%
SMPH 27.93%
Loss
CEB -2.43% (napilitang bumili kasi mahal na lahat ng recommended stocks ng COL-EIP, will sell this one pag-aabot na ng target price)
If you ask me if magsesell ako---> no, for retirement fund kasi to although I will sell CEB pag aabot na sa TP nya, di kasi eto included ng mga EIP recommended stocks ng COL.
Since napansin ko na most of my portfolio are banks and most of my stocks are owned by AYALA (ALI,BPI,MWC) and Sy (SMPH,BDO), I want to add para madiversify, I will pick from the EIP list and looking for MPI, URC and AP but meju mahal pa. Sabi nga ni Mr. Buffet in stock picking consider that you are given a piece of paper and every time you buy a particular stock you stamp a whole on that piece of paper and you are only allowed to make 20 holes. So you should decide sa mga stocks na deserving for that hole. And never invest on stocks that you don't know.
So sa mga newbies sa stocks na gustong pang long term, pili kayo dun sa mga recommended sa COL-EIP, mga 15 or 16 stocks yata yun. Buy below fair value (FV or target price).
BTW...
We will be opening a second account for medium term investment kasi we need money sa 2015. So dito I will follow yong COLing the Shot ng COL...Monthly yung report nila. We will start this hopefully sa September. Pero continue parin kami sa EIP and we plan to do it for 20 years..sana
As for mining stocks, di
[textspeak!] maganda for long term (background ko kasi meju nasa mining, Metallurgy
[textspeak!] anti-mining sobrang volatile talaga.
I hope this help and inspire. Happy investing
