sis jazzlawyer, if not bradford, try na lang to buy oxfords or any formal shoes (leather with wooden heel), usually these are the ones that add about 1 inch or so sa mga guys :)

Thelay, try bonbon taffy. they have good rates, easy to talk to and chelley is very nice! i wanted another supplier before but she never emailed me maski someone who she knows personally gave her my number and mentioned that i have been inquiring online.

@triggerhappy - thanks thanks! decided to try out mi sueno kasi suggested ng model friend (yung chinese sa bayo ad na hindi naman totoo yung %  ;)) ni h2b. iba daw ang proportions ng rtw and it actually helped me know na yung gusto kong design ay hindi bagay sakin.

@jazzlawyer - thanks sa suggestion. sige will look at bradford shoes. mas matangkad naman si h2b pero like 1" lang, just thinking of adding more height. :)
re reception - yups 2, kasi the 1st one is late lunch then just for 50-60pax, i want intimate setting kasi kaso ang laki ng family ni h2b. kakainin yung pamilya ko ng buhay. so i stood strong and really fought for the 1st reception to be 50-60pax only.
same day siya around 7pm naman yung reception 2. may time pa rin to rest a bit. we decided na isang go na lang and medyo last minute na rin na magkaroon ng 2nd reception.
sa RMH magperform si 3rd Avenue. we're getting rejectkrew for both reception. not sure about the set-up. pero hindi naman nabanggit ng coordinators namin na problem jun. pero will ask na rin to be sure. thanks for asking, new info ito for us.

@little_princess - thanks for the help and advise. scary naman matapilok. sabagay hindi naman sanay magheels ang mga lalaki. :)

i asked around sa malls, may sinuggest sila na parang ilalagay daw inside the shoes to add height. either half or full, front or back. sa mga sports store daw baka meron. but so far wala pa ako nakikita.

Congrats on getting 3rd Avenue! 3rd Avenue bride din ako!!! wooohooo!

sis you ask Paolo (the vocalist) about getting rejectkrew. I asked them din if theyve worked na with them sabi nila hindi pa kasi nga they dont have a full band set-up. Pero sabi ni Darlene Tan Salazar (my host) baka magka full band set up na sila. Nung nagkita kasi kami ni Paolo yun kagad tinanong niya sakin kung sino kukunin ko and Im leaning towards Rejectkrew na din kasi nun kasi nga good feedbacks. Yun nga yung sinabi niya sakin about the full band set up thing. Pero thats January pa nung binook ko sila. So baka may bagong equipments na Rejectkrew to cater full band set up.  I asked Paolo if sino kunin na lights and sounds they suggested if I want daw sila na magpoprovide. They got Jamsy for me. So yung contract ko with them kasama na equipments ng Jamsy.  ;D

Barkada ko si Paolo the vocalist and his wife! I always watch their gigs pagnagkakayayaan kami. We've been friends since college kasi neighbors lang kami. Kaya nung naguusap kami dati sinabi ko na whatever happens sila kukunin ko sa wedding day ko. sila ang 2nd ko binook after my church hehe! Im telling you, youll never go wrong with 3rd Avenue!
 ;D

Sila Paolo din yung reason Why I got Pat Dy Team (I got his 2nd team) and Bob Nicolas kasi when I attended his wedding, sabi ko ayan may P/V choice na ako!

Regarding the sole pangincrease ng height, eto yata nirerefer mo. nasa ensogo siya now!

jazzlawyer - sis, would you mind sending me the rates for 3rd avenue? Just so I'll have an idea if we will push through with getting a band for our reception. TIA! :)

@jazzlawyer - yun din sabi sakin ng coordinator namin about 3rd avenue. though pricey, they're consistent and worth it. i considered getting up dharma kasi my officemate got them for their child's baptismal. nung nagtanong ako, naloka naman ako with the rate. parang parokya lang. pero nonetheless, i'm excited and happy with 3rd avenue. :)

thanks sa tip. yan nga ata yung sinasabi nung salesman. mura lang pala. matry nga. :)
