hi! good thing nadiscover ko ang GT! andami kong natutuhan! binasa almost ang buong thread and i shortlisted the top 3 clinics na iniisip kong puntahan:

1. Skin House: tama ba, soprano xl diode ang ginagamit nila? painless talaga? so it's a plus na agad plus when i texted Ren, ok naman ang package na binigay nya sa akin kaso minimum of 8 sessions.. what if less than 8 lang pala ang kailangan ko? isa pa, im morena so nabasa ko na mas ok sa morena ang nd yag.. so iniisip ko pa rin.. pero i almost go there na nga today kung wala lang akong sakit.. kase malapit din ang location para sa akin at sa mga pictures, mukhang malinis talaga ang clinic.. tama ba, Dr. Cumagun ang isa sa mga doctors doon? nakakapagpasched b ng weekend sa kanya for consultation?

2. Dr. Leah Martires Clinic: tama ba, si doctora mismo ang gumagawa bawat session? super plus points kung ganon! nagpopromo rin ba sila? or fixed talaga yung 2500 per session (ua)? tama ba, she uses light sheer diode? pero yung light sheer diode nya ba, older model? kasi base sa nabasa ko dito, dapat light sheer diode duet, tama ba? one more thing, i think i'll find it hard to go to her clinic in terms of location, kasi mas malayo na sa house and sa place of work.. so iniisip ko pa rin and still diode, how safe it is for a morena like me?

3. Shinagawa Clinic: plus points ko dito yung nd yag na mas ok sa mga morena. and for a 1500 per session sa ua, mura na nga! malapit din sa place of work ko kaya kahit after work makakabisita ako sa clinic na to. my worry lang is coarse ang hair ko sa ua.. and nabasa ko rin from this thread na ang nd yag is for fine hair as much as possible.. tama ba? and in terms of permanent hair reduction, mas maraming satisfying comments sina skin house at dr. martires.. so iniisip ko na naman ulit

others recommended by friends:
*Clarity: super plus points na derma ang gumagawa at may kilala na rin ako na satisfied sa results but 3k+ is expensive for me... so there...
*Skin Center at The Spa Wellness: andun ang derma ng friend ko at supervised naman niya ang bawat session, since preggers ang derma niya, yung nurse ang gumagawa.. mukhang ok naman sa friend ko though masakit daw eh.. and nag end na ang promo nila na 2k for ua ..so balik regular price na 4k! mas mahal!!

so there, hope, matulungan nyo rin ako na maliwanagan.. tia!

and isa pa pala, what if magpa first session ako by next week, anong hitsura kaya ng ua ko after 4 weeks? i mean kase, after 4 weeks, mag aabay ako sa kasal... so my worry is baka habang suot ko yung gown either magshed siya or magkaron ng redness, etc kasi in the middle of treatment? advisable ba na ipagawa ko na weeks before the wedding or ipagpaliban ko nalang after the wedding? pero kase, that's my point eh to be at least hairless sa ua on my friend's wedding day...

Sissies. I had my first session of LHR a week ago and nagstart na ang shedding. Does it mean na hindi na siya tutubo ulit or tutubo ang nagshed na hair na manipis lang at hindi na course? Tia.

nagpapa facial rin ako sa kanila, yung bago nila, yung aqua radiance ad its so refreshing.

sissies, nung nagpa Brazilian LHR po kayo di naman po ba na delay period nyo? as far as i could remember last day ng period ko nung oct 27. tapos nagpa brazilian ako nung nov 6. until now dipa rin dumadating period ko and i'm worried.

wala akong boyfriend and haven't done s** ever..

Darating din yan. Habang tumatanda kasi tayo mas nagiging irreg ang period. Normal pa rin naman yan. Ako rin ganyan pa-minsan minsan. 1 month and few days bago yung next. Walang kinalaman LHR diyan. Pwedeng stress yan o kaya diet. Maraming factors. Chillax lang.

yung period ko kasi sis less than a month lang dadating na. like, if dumating nung oct. 20, dapat earlier than nov 20 ang dating nya. sis 23 palang ako.

though this november naging busy nga ako at stressful sa work, sana ganun lang yung reason, dumating na din sana.

sensya na OT, kala ko kasi baka dahil sa LHR.

Ive a friend who had hers done from Clarity in Shangrila and it's been five years since but she barely gets regrowth of underarm hair. Abt 3-5 strands lang daw and very, very fine that you could pluck it out effortlessly. She never pursued getting "booster" sessions. Yun lang, a session back then was 3500 and she underwent 4 or 5 till she achieved the coveted hair-free existence.

Im having mine from Skinstation and so far, I'm getting satisfactory results so Im gonna give those more pricey sessions a shot to observe if there's truly a distinction in terms of outcome.

You might want to consult the irregularity of your period with your obgyn. I've had my brazilian LHR and I don't see any difference with my period.

Brazilian LHR is a great investment for me. I can't remember exactly how many sessions I've had, pero definitely may 9 sessions na, and my hair strands are really thin. I plan on going back nga sana for more sessions before my wedding, I just can't find the time. I go to the same clinic.

The true test whether a laser is effective is when the hair doesn't grow as much after 6 to 8 sessions. Your interval for another session should be longer, and dapat hair strands should be very thin. Pero depende din yan sa skin tone mo and color ng hair mo. Remember that laser targets the hair follicle kaya I don't believe in soprano or spa accord. The constant movement would render it difficult to target the hair follicles mismo lalo if konti nalang hair.

It's a bonus if the dermatologist will be the one na gagawa ng laser mo. But with my previous experience, naging derma ko si dra. cumagun actually, wala namang difference if nurse ang gagawa sayo. Just void taking mefenamic kasi it numbs you from the pain, and my skin got burned by dra. cumagun because of that. I was requesting for increase every session kasi i was already going through so many sessions and i wanted to get rid of the hairs na. Ayun, at 1 point, my skin got burned pero scabs lang so nawala naman. The derma at skin house is dra. daet, she's very nice and magaling. Super busy lang so waiting talaga pag sched niya.

I had one session of IPL sa Surgilight SM San Lazaro. Wala namang nangyari

hindi nag-shed yung UA hair ko after a week or two. Kaya winax ko na lang sila. Meron pa akong 5 vouchers. Pero parang ayoko na bumalik kasi parang ineffective.

I'm thinking of availing the 1-year unli of Skin Station for 3.5k. Pero parang nate-tempt din akong i-try yung IPL/PTF ng Hairless SM Manila. Cheap kasi per session, php650.

Will it be worth it kaya kung sa Skin Station ako magpa-LHR?

Backread a little and you'll know the difference of an IPL from a real LHR(diode). You'll just be wasting money if you'll try that IPL again, invest some more or invest at SS since they do really good LHR. It'll be more worth it.

Skinstation SM Fairview sis. My first session came out quite amazing as I was left with just a few thin strands of hair and most can be easily plucked. Yun second parang walang nangyari. So, I might try the Timog branch for the succeeding sessions to see if there is difference bet the machines in terms of outcome.

Mga sis nabasa ko na IPL is more effective in pale skin with dark hair while diode is effective in darker Skin.Totoo ba ito?
