hi girls! first time preggy here. ganito pala mabuntis, mahirap na exciting! i'm currently doing our warehouse inventory (industrial hardware kami), do you think i should stop working muna for the first tri? medyo madumi kasi talaga doon with all the dust and metal particles kahit na sa office ako mag stay. or ok lang kaya yun?

Hi sis...Congrats again. :)

I suggest if you can stop, do so...But if you can't, use mask nalang muna. It's better to be safe than sorry...Baka kase magkasakit ka like flu then makakaaffect yun para kay baby.

Stay healthy!!! Goodluck! :)

My mom always told me the first trimester is the most crucial. When she found out I was pregnant she made my move back home. My husband and I don't have any household help so she didn't want me doing any housework or cooking. So for my first 4 months I lived back at my mom's house, it was like I was under house arrest. She wouldn't let me go out at all except for work 2 times a week (I can work from home 3 days a week) and kept telling me to sacrifice the first trimester since we don't know how my body will react to the pregnancy. I didn't mind too much since I was always sleepy and tired.

Do you have allergies? Pregnancy can cause allergies to become worse. I have allergic rhinitis and there was one time when I stayed overnight at our condo. Of course the hubby wouldn't clean so it was a little dusty. When I went back to my mom's house I was sneezing non-stop from 8AM to 2AM the next day! My nose was raw and my tummy was hurting already. My mom was so worried, we had no choice I took an antihistamine to stop it. After that I was more careful about exposing myself to dust and pollution.

I also have occasional seafood allergies to crab, lobster, etc. In my 8th month I went to my aunt's bday dinner. I didn't have any of the seafood I knew I was allergic to, but later that night (well early morning) I woke up itchy all over. I was developing painful red welts all over my body, an allergic reaction I've had pre-pregnancy. We rushed to the ER as I was concerned about the baby. Luckily she was fine.

All in all, better to err on the safe side, especially on your first pregnancy as you don't know how your body reacts. A few months of sacrifice is all that's needed.

Sa first pregnancy ko di ako nahirapan lalo na sa first trimester ko.. Although sa gabi nandun pa rin yung fatigue and vomitting pero the whole day energetic naman ako, now im pregnant again and im on my 8th week.. Kung di ako nagkakamali since pumasok ako ng 6th week, eto na, pagod lagi katawana ko the whole day, whole day din ako naduduwal pero napipigilan ko naman, head ache, back ache, migraine..pati sa pagtulog ko hirap pa rin... Tapos most of the time antok na antok talaga ako.. Hays, sana till 10 werks lang tong ganitong pakiramdam..magpapasukan na at need ko dami energy!

ako naman i had a relatively challenging first trimester but i'm past it already. :)

my first 3 weeks (5th to 8th week), i had spotting from time to time. so i was on bed rest for a month. Maaga kasi nadetect yung pregnancy ko. i just try working from home nung mga time na yun. ubos ang VL ko. :) then at my 10th week, nahilo naman ako while going to the cr. wiwi kasi ng wiwi kapag buntis. it caused me to fall down. buti hindi naapektuhan si baby but i had head trauma resulting to 5 stitches on my head. i was checked with so many things, even doing holter monitoring for 24hrs pero wala naman nakitang kakaiba. i think, its really antok plus lower sugar kasi i vomit a lot. my nose is uber sensitive even to the scent of my hubby. haha! :) come the 2nd tri, super sensitive pa rin pang amoy ko. pagpasok ng 3rd tri, nag-okay na. pero nung 3rd tri ko, nagkaroon naman ako ng rashes sa tummy (PUPPP). super ingat lang talaga ako and followed doctor's orders talaga. even changed most of my toiletries to organic ones para safe talaga.

but it's all worth it. okay si baby and healthy. :)
loving my babies more each day :)

sis, nung first trimester ko, di ko alam na buntis ako, so i had coffee, preservatives, nilaro ko ng badinton, sumali ako sa tournament ng badminton, i played extra hard thsoe times, kasi coming from wedding (na shempre payat ako than my usual weight) nafefeel ko na parnag tumataba ako, so ayun, todo exercise, nag jojoin pa ko ng fun run..

tapos sa tagtag naman, byinahe ko to as far as sta ana cagayan. (mga 15hrs from manila) 3days kaming nasa kalye..

^^yes sis, doble ingat lang talaga. its better safe than sorry. :) iniiwasan ko din talaga na magkasipon or ubo. i had slight cough and had antibiotics for a week. hindi ako uminom ng gamot kasi sabe ni ob wag na. hirap kasi magkaubo kasi may strain and parang feeling ko masakit sa tummy. kawawa si baby. i suggest you still work on few days a week but of course, less stress and physical work. mas okay din kasi if naaaliw ka and your brain is working. :)

^tama sis, boredom is also stressful di ba? :) kaya ako nung bedrest, nag-eemail pa din. kasi physical walking lang naman pinalimit sa akin. bawal lang matagtag. cavite kasi kame nakatira ako tapos pasig work ko. pero nung pagbalik  ng work, we rented space near office na lang para di ako masyado mapagod. tapos hatid sundo pa ako ni hubby.

best talaga sis if kasama mo si hubby. iba yung may kasama ka. anytime na may gusto ka, walang kyeme mo mahihingi or madedemand. :D talagang pwede magdemand kasi buntis eh hahaha! tapos if you feel cramps sa gabi, meron kaagad na pwede humila ng paa mo. even yung di mo maabot na parts ng katawan mo pag malaki na tummy mo, pwede mo ipatulong kay hubby :) mas secured din sa pakiramdam. add to it na mas makakausap din ni hubby si baby while in your tummy. ako nga, si baby ko, naku mas tumatahan pa sa papa nya kesa sa akin hahaha! siya kasi laging kinakausap tummy ko nung buntis ako kaya siguro familiar yung boses. though kinakausap ko din naman, i don't know bakit ganun. :)

sis sachicago meron ba kayo taga linis dun, or kung ano man? mahirap din ah.. you have to weigh din, kasi meron ka masasabihan, pero yoy may be forced to do housework, hehe mamaya mas mahirapan ka pa...

madaming hilo ang first trimester ah.. daming challenges.. atleast dito, pagtaas mo lang ng kamay mo me taga paypay ka agad, or gusto mo ng ganito or ganung food, me makakbili agad, pag kayo nalang ni hubby, mamaya pag nasa work sya, ikaw ang mafoforce bumili hehe

Very crucial nga pala ang first trim. Wala pa akong hilo or pagsusuka at 9weeks per back to duphasto na naman ako kasi may yellowish/brownish discharge ako at may pain sa kanang tagiliran. Wala naman ako uti based sa ua. Sa ultrasound naman very active si baby. Sana maging ok na kami.

Sis, during the first trimester, the organs of the baby are forming and developing.  A mother's exposure to hazardous materials, dust and dirt=germs poses a risk to the baby.

sis santita, condotel yung pag stayan namin sa Chicago so may housekeeping service. i just want to go there to be with my hubby. wrong timing kasi pag tanggap niya ng project, di namin akalain makabuo this month kasi nga since December pa kami nag try, wala. tama si sis iristacey, hinahanap ko feeling ng security. kasi kahit gano karami kasama ko dito sa bahay, i feel alone!

God is good all the time.

M_Lim - Congratulations on your first pregnancy :) The first trimester is ver crucial kase organ development yan. If you are exposed to hazardous chemicals or dust particles with your line of work, I suggest that you stop working muna or get another job.
Whatever I want, I get. If I can't, I don't stop TRYING.
