Bulaga! After Senate majority leader Vicente "Tito" Sotto III, another member of the Sotto clan may jump over from the show business to the political arena.

On Sunday, Senate majority leader Vicente “Tito” Sotto III said his brother Marvic “Vic” Sotto had been “discussing possibilities” of joining politics in 2013.

“Pinag-uusapan pa, kwentu-kwentuhan lang... discussing possibilities," Sen. Sotto said in an interview on dzBB radio.

He said Vic has yet to make a final decision on whether to run at all, and what post to pursue.

When asked if Vic is gunning for a national or local position, Sen. Sotto said, “pinag-uusapan din (that is also a subject of discussion).”

Although the Sotto brothers are prominent in the entertainment industry, they are grandnephews of former Sen. Filemon Sotto, and grandsons of Sen. Vicente Sotto.

Incumbent Sen. Tito Sotto had been in public service since 1988 when he won the vice mayoralty race in Quezon City, and first served as senator in 1992.

On the other hand, Vic has been very visible on television commercials, aside from his regular television shows that include the popular noontime show “Eat Bulaga!”

Vic is also known for the "Enteng Kabisote" movie franchise, which had been a killer at the box office. — LBG, GMA News

sa totoo lang, yung state of affairs ng pulitika natin mas malala pa sa latin america (na halos kasing hirap din ng Pilipinas). at least yung mga elitista dun, eh mga haciendero at may ari ng mga bukiran o di kaya ng mga pabrika. ofcourse they are corrupt to the core,but at least they know something.

Ano naman ang naihip sa isipan nila at balak nilang tumakbo??? Dapat kasi dagdagan ng qualifications ang candidates. Ok na sa akin ang HS graduate lang. Pero sana may Psychological test. Kasi etong si Annabel Rama, wala pa sa pwesto kala mo kanya na  ang QC City Hall pag may kaso. Eh how mush more pag naging Congresswoman siya o senator? Aangkinin niya ang Seession hall?

So kung gusto ko tumakbo sa public office dapat pala nag artista din ako...

i think cebuanos wont vote for anabelle rama. marami namang smart voters in that province. and besides what does she know about laws, moreso creating laws? magsasayang lang siya ng pera sa gagawin nya at ipapahiya sarili niya.
