^yes sis i want to invest for long term talaga... need ko muna tawagan yung metrobank branch na malapit samen kung nagpaprocess sila ng SALEF.

i plan to invest sana sa December sa pinas na kais i want it as joint account with hubby. overseas ako at si hubby nasa pinas. pero since baba ng values ngayon, parang gusto ko na tuloy mag-start ngayon!

Why not now, sis?

If you want, you could just scan/ email your documents and forward them to FAMI - after depositing the money to their account number. Hindi mo na kelangan kumausap ng tao sa Metrobank lalo na kung clueless sila.

Hmm, pwede naman na you download, scan/ email and forward the forms to FAMI kahit nasa abroad ka. Sis, ganun lang ang ginawa ko

^ pero sis prefer ko sana joint account with hubby kaya sabi ko pag-uwi ko na lang ng pinas para pwede mag-redeem, top up etc. kahit sino sa amin although as i mentioned before, walang paki yun at walang ka-effort effort yun pero at least pag kinakailangan mauutusan mo sya

it's been a long time plan na for me na itry maginvest either stocks/MF and i was inspired by this thread kaya last saturday i went sa bdo to inquire abt their EIP. at nadisappoint ako sa sabi ni teller when i told her na i'm interested to open EIP.

sabi sakin, ay ma'am, high risk po sya di po sure if maggain kau kc pwede po tlg kau malugi. di pa sya nakontento at twice nya pa inulit.

sabi ko na lang, yah, i know for long term investment naman ako. i ask her ano ba requirements? she just said na open lang po sya M-F from 9am-5pm (kainis, kc may work kaya ako nun). she just gave me a leaflet which i think useless kc it's just a disclosure. haay,mga sis..

^ ganun talaga sis sila. parang test lang if you're really into investing kasi may risks involved and returns are not guaranteed. so kung desidido ka talaga, pursue mo lang

Sis, I think if you just want to let him redeem for you - pwede naman yun magpadala ka lang ng authorization letter -

@mameejhy hindi pa naman sis hehe..kasing parang medyo disappointing dahil kakaopen lang namin tapos hindi man lang nag gain muna ng kahit kaunti lang bago bumaba

plan kasi namin sana, 6 months lang talaga kukunin na namin pandagdag sana sa planong bilin. pero with the current NAVPS mukang i-long term na lang siguro namin hehe

^Ganyan nangyari sa initial investment ko! Pag reflect ng investment ko today, bumaba the following day hahaha ang inis ko nun! Mabuti na lang, pataas na yun navps after a week kaya ayun ginanahan ako mag top up after 2 weeks (adik lang)

medyo kahinayang lang kasi kung kelan mababa yung NAVPS wala na kong pang top up hahahaha! naibagsak na namin lahat bago pa bumaba eh. ngayon kelangan na yung pera for enrollment

nag-top up ako sa FAMI SALBF. 1000 lang hehe. baba ng NAVPS sarap bumili!

by the way, who among here have ALFM mutual funds? i got an invitation for the annual stockholders meeting sa hotel intercontinental in Makati. gusto ko umattend kaya lang wala titingin sa 7month old baby ko eh. next year sana maka-attend ako hehe. hindi pa kasi ako nakaka-attend sa ganon. parang nice to mingle lang with people who's into mutual fund and stocks din hehe..

^para sa akin ok din mag-manage ng funds ang ALFM. nag-invest ako sa growth fund nila at malaki ang paper gains ko. ang kagandahan ng ALFM, pwede ka mag-invest and redeem thru bpiexpressonline. less hassle. meron silang bond fund which is more conservative kung takot ka sa risky investment like growth fund (balanced fund). wala silang equity fund.

For those who make additional investment in FAMI via metrobank's online banking facility, how did you get your "subscriber/account number"? Is it in the Confirmation Receipt which is issued - it only says COR No. and Acct. No., I'm not sure which one to use.

@mameejhy, pwede pala yun.. uhmm... sige magopen na ko mamaya. pwede ba magbayad thru ATM ng metrobank na lang?

Kailangan ba isubmit ko muna yung documents ko Account Opening Form (AOF), Investment Application Form (IAF) and Signature Cards bago ko magbayad? O dapat magbayad muna bago mag-submit? sorry dami tanong.. nahihilo ako sa instructions hehe

Edit: Nagets ko na hehe.. print ko na lang muna yung mga forms then saka ko magdeposit..
