Pero much better kun mag-email ka rin sa prospected hotel where you'll be staying at.

@yezzi

as long as ka-share nyo sa bed ang mga kids wala syang bayad.. pero if mag re-request kayo ng additional bed dun pa lang magkakaroon ng fees ang mga kids :)

Hello sissies! newbie here :)

Just wanna ask your opinion about La Carmela de Boracay?
I'm having troubles in booking our accommodation there,  i keep on calling their numbers indicated on their sites, but none of them are reachable..  i even sent emails.. then i decided to look for other numbers in other sites.. i got 1 number which is from Makati office daw.. i called yesterday and i started asking few questions if they have available room for 7 pax etc.. then Carlo (the one answered the phone) is not sure of some of his answers .. then sabi nya tawag na lang daw ulit ako.. sabi ko na lang.. "asan ba yung boss mo? sakanya na lang ako makikipag usap or bigay mo na lang sakin yung number na direkta sa la carmela.".. so binigay nya sakin yung number ng boss nya.. before we hang the phone, sabi nya meron daw room na available pero Executive DeLuxe na lang daw.. and it cost 2,800php per pax.. (4d/3n accomodation).. sabi ko na lang.. 'okay, let me talk to your boss first mukang di ka kase sure..'

after that, tinwagan ko yung boss nya named Manny.. sabi sakin isesend na lang daw nya sakin kinabukasan yung quotation ng reservation namin.. then earlier..  Manny sent me the quotation.. it says there na they have 2 executive rooms for us.. and it cost 2250/pax.. he advised me that i need to deposit the full amount of my booking fee to initiate the process of my reservation.. nagtaka ako kase ang sabi sakin ng officemate ko usually daw downpayment lang para makapag reserve.. then yung balance upon checking in na lang daw sa resort.. then later on i received an email from la carmela na we're on the wait list na nga daw at wala ng available room for our travel date (Oct 17-20,2012).. so ako? nagtaka nako... Hindi ko alam ngaun if im talkging to an authorize person of La Carmela .. its our 1st time to go there.. so hindi talaga ako sure.. and takot ako na baka scam lang yung nakusap ko..

any feedback guys? or baka meron kayong contact number na working na direkta sa la carmela and 101% sure na authorize nga yun.. really need your help.. :(

Thanks a lot! :)

Regards,
Cams

Hi sisses :)

I'm in Boracay right now with my two brothers. Spacious nga ang room sa Casa Fiesta like sis matetreyes said. Miss Josie is nice too, and I'm happy that she gave us a room overlooking the beach. There's TV and refrigerator. Sulit na sulit yung P2000 considering ang ganda ng location. :)

Tomorrow, we'll transfer to Royal Park Hotel which is just a few buildings away from Casa Fiesta.

Nalungkot lang ako kasi Smoke is closed right now, parang they are renovating the place. I had a bad experience with Smoke last February but I really want to try their bulalo. Does anybody know kung may temporary place of business sila while nirerenovate yung old place?

Any more suggestions for cheap but good food in Boracay?

Thanks :)

sis I suggest, if you can make a reservation naman din, better to reserve na lang to be sure. kasi katulad ng nangyari sa friends ko, gabi kasi ang flight nila manila-kalibo. so balak nila sa kalibo na sila magstay overnight. kaso pagdating sa kalibo airport, may nagoffer na van going to caticlan and may boat pa daw until 10pm. so lo and behold, dumerecho na sila sa boracay that night without any reservations. we were at casa fiesta na that time and when we inquired kung may available pa na room for my friends (3 pax) wala na daw. pagdating nila, nagtry sila maghanap sa la fiesta, tans, isla del mar, etc. wala na din. so they ended up sleeping in our room, as in mega siksikan kasi 5 pax na kami sa room at 5 pax ang maximum sa casa fiesta.  uncomfortable na, nasingil pa kami ng 1k for extra pax. so better talaga kung may reservations para sure na may madadatnan kayo sa bora
