Commonwealth Hospital and Medical Center
« on: March 24, 2012, 09:33:10 AM »
Hello girls! New here! I just need your help, has anyone given birth at Commonwealth Hospital and Medical Center near SM Fairview? How is it? Mura ba dun? And has anyone had dr. Visitacion Toy for an OB? Is she ok?

My sister kasi just got back from Dubai and she's due to give birth 2nd week of May. naghahanap kami magaling at mabait na OB na nagpapaanak sa CHMC since that's the hospital most accessible for us. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks so much!

malapit din kami dito pero hindi ako dito nagpapa OB kasi parang mahal.. we inquired before here kung magkano ang xray and almost P500 ang price where sa iba e around 200-300 lang.. I heard also na pati doppler dito e may bayad..

Bago kasi so ok ang facilities.. Yun lang medyo pricey talaga..

My ob is Dr. Visitacion Toy , she's good, very malambing and super caring sa mga patients nya.

Dr. Toy is also my OB. She delivered my kids via NSD. I very much agree on the caring part, naalala ko nun nglalabor ako sa panganay ko, andun din sya sa labor room humihimas ng tyan ko kada sasakit. LOL. When I was pregnant way back 2003 and 2004, I had my check-ups with her in FEU and in Med City SMF.

Relatives got confined in CH. ;)

Hello. I'm 19 weeks pregnant. (First baby) Yung OB ko ay sa St.Luke's and I'm having a hard time going there for clinic visits, at ang hirap pa ng schedule nya. I'm planning to find a new OB near our place. Taga Fairview lang ako. Nakapunta na ako sa CHMC when I was given a benadryl shot. Ok ang ER. Not crowded. I think ok din don manganak. I'm really considering that hospital since malapit kami dun at syempre mas mura kesa sa St. Luke's. What you guys think? Anybody here knows Dr. Toy's schedule there? :( Kung alam nyo din ang rates ng NSD or CS please let me know too. :) Thank you!

Hi. I'm 5 months pregnant. Do you mind telling me how much was your bill (all in)? I am considering Commonwealth Hospital since I am nearby and of course since this is my first I want the best for my baby (without spending too much.) :)

Do you know her schedule, too? Thanks so much!

Hi. I just want to ask Dr. Visitacion Toy's schedules in FEU and MEdical City SMF. As I read these feedbacks about her, I want to also consider her as my OB. That's why I want to change my OB. I will wait for your reply. Thanks so much!

Hi! I am currently 36 weeks pregnant. I am planning to give birth in this hospital too and my OB is also Dra. Toy :) She is really good and pretty too hehe.. Her schedule is as follows:
FEU (Wed 10AM to 12NN and Sat 3PM to 6PM)
Medical City SMF (Mon 11AM to 1PM, Wed 1PM to 4PM)

And if anyone knows how much it costs to give birth in this hospital, I would also like to know :) Especially how much is the needed downpayment upon admission since that is what we need on hand when we go to the hospital. Thanks! And I hope the schedules I provided above will help :)

Hello,

No feedback ba with Dr. Visitacion Toy and Commonwealth hospital? Up ko lang. I'd like to know her rates rin.

NSD: 35-40k  ward
         45k semi-private
         55k  private
for epidural just add 10k, di pa less dyan yong philhealth
CS:   70k ward
         80k semi- private
         90k private

* included na dyan ang newborn screening and no complication yang mga package na yan.

Sa facilities nila, maganda at malinis ang hospital based on my own experience ng maconfine ako [textspeak!] last May 2012. Tsaka OB ko super bait napaaccomodating anytime pede mo sya itext. sa check-up naman nia never syang nagmamadali kaya lahat ng queries mo maitatanong mo. Clinic sched nia
Mon. and fri 9-4
wed and Sat- 9 -12

Diko kasi nagamit yung sakin eh. So if you have, less pa yan :) Maganda din ang private rm sa CHMC.. May ref na.. 1.5k per day
