Hi!

Medyo strenuous nga ang work sa kitchen so magkakaron nga talaga ng 'conflict' with your health.  I suggest you take Pastry kasi medyo lighter ang load and not as stressful when you're in the hot kitchen.

ISCAHM in Katipunan have a really good Pastry Chef and program.  One year course sya.  Sa Global naman 3-4mons lang yata if you're looking for something na mas maikli ang time.

Good luck!

ako din nakatipid sa pang tuition. trial and error muna sa umpisa hanggang sa mamaster ko na ang isang recipe.

tyaga lang sa paghanap ng recipe sa internet.

I just started baking, with my fiance. Sya kasi he cooks super well (and he might even enroll in a cooking school, cross fingers!) so gusto din nya matuto mag bake.

We’ve been baking cupcakes. In fairness to us, masarap naman. Haha! We’ve done banana cupcakes with peanut butter frosting and carrot ginger cupcake with orange cream cheese frosting.

I tried gardening too and I have some plants growing. Ewan. I can’t stick to one “craft.” I just basically want to be good at doing ONE thing, hindi yung jack of all trades, master of none.

i think meron sa tesda.

i would suggest to enroll sa basic baking or cooking. kasi pag alam mo na yung basic kahit ano pwede mo na gawin. ako kasi nag try lang sa kakanood sa youtube. it turned out ok naman but when i tried to enroll, 1 day lang madami akong natutunan. kasi iba rin yung nakikita mo ng actual at expert talaga ang gumagawa. pati you can ask questions and take down notes. it really improved my baking skills and pag nakikita ko yung recipe i already have an idea how it's done unlike before.

plus the teacher can give you tips regarding different brands so you know what brand will taste better. minsan kasi nag iiba talaga lasa pag gumamit ng specific brand. it pays to take lessons. kahit short courses lang.
