Been there sis. I think 2 summers ago. The place is okay naman but you cannot swim in the beach talaga. It's not clean and malayo yung walk going down. Plus very public sis. Pool nalang kayo. The owner is very nice actually and accomodating. Actually 2 owners yung resort sis. We stayed in the resort near the pool. Mabait yung owner and we were allowed to cook. We only paid 500 extra for us to be able to use their kitchen. I also saw the resort sa may dulo. Mas maganda yung rooms but I dunno how their service is lang.

Hi mga sis,

I'm new here, my family and I are planning to go on an overnight stay sa Subic this May 4-5 (mga 6 kami with 2 infants). We are looking for an nice but cheap place to stay. May reservations kami sa Forest View, deluxe villa (6000 for us 6) and sa Crown Garden Hotel (2500 room for 4 and 1500 room for 2). Just want to ask for your feedback kung ano ang better sa dalawa or what are the other better options within the same price range.

^Sis, Crown Garden Hotel or Crownpeak Gardens Hotel?

The Forest View that i remember from our Subic stay years before, ay yung parang apartment type na mga Villas, na malapit sa forest?

Kung Crownpeak Garden or Forest View, mas type ko sis yung Crownpeak kasi mas malapit sa kabihasnan.

Ay sorry, Crownpeak Gardens Hotel pala. Thanks for the tip sis. Di naman scary sa Crownpeak? :-) We also plan to do Zoofari from 8am til lunch tpos Ocean adventure from 1 til 6pm ok na ba yun, I mean masusulit ba namin yung tickets? :-)

^Sis,medyo years ago na rin kasi nung last na nag Subic kami pero ang mas madalas naming stay ay sa Crown Peak, may 2 buildings kasi dun,pero alam ko may nirenovate sila na building dun. Pag dun sa 2 buildings, choose yung building sa kanan, wag yung nasa left. Bale yung sa pinaka-main building.
Yung sa kaliwa kasi yung slightly scary.he!he!
Ok din naman yung Forest View, nalalayuan lang ako. Tapos usually, di ganun kapuno yung place. although that was before. Saka Crown peak,may pool.

Yes sis, carry na yang sked na yan.

Hey sis, if you have time, don't forget to eat at Meatplus. Masarap steak. Although medyo nag mahal na sila.

mga sis, open na rin yung harbor point sa subic (ayala mall) di pa fully finished pero may ibang bukas na stalls na.

^sis, baka Ocean View Beach Resort? Sa labas ng Subic Bay area yang resort na yan, medyo hassle magcommute pag jan kayo magchecheck-in. Madami din naman affordable hotels sa loob ng sbma but it depends on your itinerary kasi commute lang kayo.

Had lunch at Meat Plus today, I enjoyed it. You should try meat plus burger! Their best seller for combo meals are 3,7 and 8. And yummy yun vanilla ice cream!! Sarap! We'll be staying here till tom. Mag zoobic safari nlng saan pa ba ok puntahan dito at kainan? Thanks!

I had a great time in Subic this weekend. Thank you for this thread. So to bring it back... here's my subic adventure via public transpo.

May 11 - got to Victory Liner Cubao at about 430am. Hindi pwede ang reservation for Olongapo, buy tickets on the day itself lang kaya maaga kami to catch the 530am Olongapo via SCTEX. We got to Subic Park and Shop at about 8am. May stopover sa Dau for 15 mins. Sasabihin naman ng konduktor kung park and shop na. Landmark: Wimpy's and Mini Stop. Tawid towards mini stop tapos makikita na ang taxi terminal.

Sa Subic International kami nagbook, 4 adults and my 5 year old. Nilakad lang namin ito, malapit lang siya sa terminal. Sa same terminal din nagpapark ang shuttle ng Ocean Adventure. Good thing pina-check in na kami kahit maaga pa. Went back to the terminal to wait for the shuttle, bumili ng breakfast sa Mini stop... pero dahil mainit at ang aga pa namin, we decided to take the taxi. P400 one way to OA. We got there at 10am.

At OA, we are given a sked para maabutan namin lahat ng shows. We had lunch at the cafe there. Pricey for me dahil hindi naman masyadong masarap. Lunch combo ranges from 230 - 300. Nag picture ang anak ko with the dolphin. Naikot pa namin ang ibang aquariums. Pumila na kami ng 3pm sa shuttle.

OA shuttle - ito ang sinasakyan din ng mga employees from Camayan and OA, no aircon. Lahat ng pasahero pawis na. Expect na maraming pasahero. Dahil morning employees sila, lahat tulog sa byahe. May taxi na nagaabang sa labas ng OA, pero P500 na singil nito. Kung gustong makatipid, sakay na sa shuttle.

From the terminal, lakad na ulit kami to Subic International to rest.
Subic International Bravo -- as said in many reviews, luma na talaga. Moldy and stained carpet pero mabait ang mga staff. We got the room for 3800 with breakfast. Medyo hirap na maglakad ang mom ko, kaya sulit na ito dahil malapit lang siya at kayang lakarin.

Nag taxi kami to Meat Plus. P50 ang taxi fare kung malapit na byahe, standard rate. As always, the best ang meat plus experience. We got ribeye and burger combo. Yummy. Konting shopping sa freeport then back to hotel na. May taxis rin na nakatambay sa area. P50 again going back to hotel.

Okay ang breakfast sa Subic Intl Hotel. Masarap. Hindi tipid. May coffee refills. After breakfast, nag swim na kami sa pool. May shuttle na maghahatid sa inyo sa pool. Tambay kami dito till 11. Walang shade ang pool, sobrang tirik ang araw. Nakakaitim pero dedma.

Check out at 12nn. Walked towards Harbor Point, tingin tingin lang. Maganda ang bagong mall, ok din tambayan. Then lunch again at Meat Plus.

Sinundo na kami ng friend ko papuntang Victory to take the 3pm bus sked. Pero kung taxi ka, 200 daw to victory.

TIPS: ang mga taxi drivers, may calling cards, para pwede ka maghaggle kung san mo gusto magpahatid. Most taxis kasi nasa terminal, so kung may contact ka, pwede ka na lang magpahatid at magpasundo. Siyempre mababago ang presyo ng konti pero di pa rin taga.

Know the shuttle sked ng OA. First trip is at 1045am. First trip back is at 3pm.

The Victory Liner Bus pabalik ng Manila ang daming stopover. Mababagot ka. Bukod sa hinto ng hinto para magsakay sa kalsada, hihinto sa robinsons pampanga, sm pampanga para magpick up. Nakakainip. Hindi ko kasi alam kung may ibang byahe na de luxe. Ang naabutan kasi namin nung 3pm ay express, akala ko naman express talaga. We got home at about 7pm. Unbelievable na 4 hours ang byahe.
