Hi sisses,

My family and I are planning to spend christmas at subic this year. I have a reservation both at Segara and Camayan, pero Im not sure kung san mas maganda. I saw Kamana Sanctuary, and gusto ko din sya. Please help, san ba mas okay, Segara, Camayan or Kamana. My family plans to go night zafari then OA and swimming. Also, can you recommend a good fine dining restaurant/hotel for christmas eve? Thanks a lot!

saw the link to the camayan incident. kawawa naman yung kid.  i am considering Camayan pa naman for our vacation this December, madami kaming kids na kasama, 7 kids including my 1 year old. Now out na siya sa options ko.

went there last weekend.  kids had fun.  we stayed in bayfront hotel.  ok lang sya and mura.  though mejo luma na yung room na napapunta samin at barado ang shower drain.  at some point rinig yung dagundong ng gimikan sa labas pero ok parin nakatulog parin kami ng maayos.  ok narin, kasi saglit lang naman kami.  we checked in really late, like 6pm, no reservations.  so tinatamad na kami mag ocular ng iba.  so for the price of the standard room na 2750, pwede na.

next day, we took the kids to ocean adventure.  nakaka asar lang kasi ang daming kasabay namin na field trips ng school. there were more than 10 tour buses in the parking lot when we got there.  ok lang may kasabay sana, ang kaso, yun lang ang priority ng staff.  deadma sila sa walk in tourist.  gaya sa sealion show, they were operating beyond capacity.  gusto pa isiksik sa pwesto namin ng family ko na siksikan na, yung mga taga field trip.  they dont reserve spots either for the walk in tourists, kahit man lang 2 rows.  so as in sa gilid ka nalang or sa floor uupo. i wouldnt feel asar if they informed me ahead of time bago bumili ng ticket na mahirap umupo or walang mauupuan at all dahil madaming nag f field trip.  buti nalang my kids loved the dolphin show.  happy na sila makita yung dolphins na tumatalon.

we ate in meatplus the day before.  para sa aming mag asawa, nothing special.  my kids loved their spaghetti with meatballs though.  well, kahit na anong spaghetti naman kinakain nila, pero malaki yugn serving ng spaghetti and naubos nila kahit ang dami.

before we left for manila, we ate at xtremely xpresso.  eto super na enjoy namin.  masarap talaga.  i especially enjoyed my Seafood cream soup.  and both our orders na may rice (fish and porkchops) were both masarap and priced just right.  the kids enjoyed their crepe and banana split too.    to those going to subic, you definitely have to eat here.

Kapag naka start ba kami ng earliest show sa ocean adventure, anong oras matatapos? me mabibili ba na light snacks sa loob? and how's d rates of food in camayan?

earliest na start nila is 8am. siguro kung papanoorin mo lahat ng show, hanggang 1 or 2pm ka aabutin?

1 lang yata ang bilihan ng food na pang lunch doon. namamahalan ako sa food sa loob kaya puro snacks lang kami. sa labas kami kumain ng lunch. by the way sis, bawal magdala ng drinks other than water sa loob.

mga sis, ask ko lang if ano maisasuggest nyo na buffet/eat-all-you-can place sa SUBIC? pupunta kasi kami sa Puregold then magdidinner. Group of 9-11 persons kasi kami kaya mas makakatipid if buffet meal na lang.

If wala ano ba ok na resto na may group meal? Ayoko kasi sa Gerry's grill at mga fastfood. Para maiba naman kami kasi family ko kasama ko.

^Eat all-you-can buffet available @ Cabalen located at Harbor Point Mall Php298/head & Holly's Restaurant @ Subic World Plaza last year their rate was Php198/head. Casablanca Scandinavian Buffet (smorgasbord) Php500/head but not available everyday

Hubby's family will be going there in zoobic tomorrow, pero since I am 6months pregnant I am not going to be comfortable with all the activities, I prefer na mapag paiwan sa isang decent beach resort para dun kami ni hubby mag stay and my kid. Accesible ba ang Ocean View Resort from Zoobic and OA at how much ang entrance fee dun? TIA

^sis ocean view is outside sbma. And dahil malayo talaga location ng zoobic and OA, Ocean View beach resort would probably be one hour away pa. I suggest magpaiwan ka nalang sa Camayan beach resort that's next to OA lang and 5 minutes away from zoobic lang. Yun nga lang P300 ang entrance fee, pwera pa cottage niyan. Suggest ko din sana Adventure beach, that's within the vicinity of OA lang daw, I'm just not very sure kasi nadaanan ko nadin ito pero hindi pa talaga ako nakapasok. Entrance fee is half lang compared sa Camayan. Pwede sis on the way to OA/Zoobic, magtanong na kayo saan ang adventure beach (alam ko andun lang talaga yun sa vicinity ng OA). Pag di niyo nakita, then opt for Camayan nalang Happy new year!

may alam ba kayo na  mga villa or mga house for rent na good for 13 pax na medyo malapit lapit sa ocean adventure and zoobic safari?
