^ sis chirochan, di ba sensitive yung nose mo kapag nabunggo or ni prick yung nose during derma cleaning, o kaya when you slept with your face flat on your pillow... may tendency ba na ma misalign yan? Sabi kasi ni doc jim, di naman daw basta basta ma misalign ang silicon basta maayos ang pagka gawa kahit sapakin daw. Pero siyempre, kapag high impact na talaga tatabinge kahit siguro yung natural bridge ma da damage diba.

mas okay ang ear cartilage for the whole rhino sis, sa goretex kasi sa tip talaga ear cartilage nilalagay, as far as we know si doc corazon palang gumagawa ng rhino na all cartilage ang gamit

Sorry but I disagree on the idea that ear cartilage would be a good idea for the whole rhino. Tip, yes but we don't have enough ear cartilage to cover the whole nose and besides it's not hard/sturdy enough para sa dorsum/bridge. Para sa bridge, it would be rib cartilage.

Me personally I consulted with Doc. Alonzo based on "rave" reviews here.  Para sa revision na. I'm afraid hindi ako comfortable. Silicone technology pa rin siya. Papalitan niya daw ang silicone ko ng another silicone. Yikes. No more silicone for me. Natuto na ako. Hina-hunting ko now si Dr. Conrad Garcia for cartilage or yung  nagfa-follow ng US-method sa ethnic rhino.

Napansin niyo si Lani Misalucha. US-made yun di ba? Nag-iba mukha grabe!

yun sakin lang kahit kakatanggal lang ng plaster never siya nagmukhang maga kaya all thumbs up ako kay doc alonzo plus lumiit alars ko with no scars at all kaya walang nakakahalata na fake ilong ko well syempre mga kakilala ko alam nila nagpagawa ako lasi wala akong bridge dati at malakong bilugan alars ko haha

Hindi ka namaga at all? that's the usual body's response sa invasion/injury/wound.

One of the doctors my cousin consulted told her that ear cartilage would not be adequate for bridge augmentation. I presume, since I am not a doctor, that if only minor changes are needed, then ear cartilage alone would be okay.

^ yes sis, konti lang pinalagay ni sis tartyjud eh ayaw daw kasi niya ng mataas na bridge, sana nga may expert na doctor na kaya magharvest ng cartilage sa ribs.

mas reco ni doc alonzo ang goretex not silicon pero syempre kung ano gusto mo do it pera mo yan so dapat gusto mo ang masunod

Hi sis bonita, your nose is so nice! Do you have pics 1week post-op? Or pre-procedure? I'm having mine done by Doc Jay too next week. Or pics when you smile wide. Yun kasi concern ko eh, my nose while smiling. hehe thanks!

Hi! Im a newbie here. Was encouraged to finally create my account. @sis Quelinda, how much is the cost with Dra Corazon? have you had rhinoplasty?

I am planning kasi, I decided to go to Doc Jay, but then sa recent thread, may additional VAT na siya. Need to do alarplasty and tiplasty sana.

Additional question to all the FN sis,.. may mga pre-op procedure ba before the rhino itself? Like CBC.. at kung ano ano pang medical procedure before the operation?

^ sis kaya mabilis makipagusap si doc alonzo kasi pag nagtagal na may bayad na 500 yata yun, may mga pics. sya sakin na pinakita before ako magpasurgery ha, mabababa yun bridge tyaka manipis pero ayaw ko nun hehe, before the big day sis sabihin mo kay doc yun gusto magdala ka ng picture na gusto mong nose para may idea siya, tyaka after niya lagay yun implant papakita niya sayo yun nagawa ng nose para pwede mo pa sya papaadjust. di naman siya masakit sis sa kagaya kong super takot sa pain ang sakit lang ng rhino eh nasa 2/10 mas masakit pa yun paginject ng anesthesia sa braso at pagtanggal ng stitches

25k po sakin mga sis,  subtle enhancement lang daw po ang need ko since maliit naman na yung nose ko, maski tip and alars ko manipis lang din. Ang kulang lang sakin, bridge kaya yun lang ang gagawin Nakakatawa akala nga nung attendant I've had previous rhinoplasty na at tinanggal lang yung implant-akala for revision rhino ako =)) Kinakabahan talaga ako kasi i've seen before and after pics and actual na gawa ni doc. I like it, pero to be honest, medyo natataasan ako sa paglagay nya ng bridge. Parang mala-caucasion style imo, so i will really try to stress what I want, which is parang asian na tangos lang.. sana magawa talaga ng maayos yung bridge ko T_T

Same as sis insekyora's experience, medyo mabilis nga makipag-usap si doc... But I somehow feel I can trust them. assert ko nalang sarili ko mas lalo I guess, para no regrets Scheduled na po ako for surgery sa Saturday! omg kinakabahan talaga ako, pray for me mga sis
