What gadgets do you bring when you travel?
« on: February 24, 2012, 12:29:41 AM »
Just wondering mga sis. If you go on a backpacking trip, which gadgets are a must to bring?

I'm thinking of getting an iPad so I can let go of my laptop when I go to places. Saves weight and space :)

Camera and cellphone lang.

I won't bring my laptop nor my iPad. Natatakot ako mawala especially commute ang gagawin sa ibang bansa haha plus as much as possible, maliit lang bag ko para madali kumilos. Pag dinala ko pa iPad ko, malaking bag yun at bibigat pa.

I used to bring a laptop for email, and to download travel photos from the camera and post them. But now probably no need for that anymore -- I'm thinking the iPad can probably take the place of a laptop?

^Yes, the iPad can upload photos. I use a Camera Connection Kit to connect my camera or the memory card and upload them to my iPad.

(OT. -  excited ako lalabas na the IPad 3)

I bring: 2 cellphones,  1IPad,  my Kindle, camera & IPod.
I put everything except for my local cell in my 4-wheeled carry-on, para hindi mabigat my bag.

Depends on the purpose of travel. For a leisure trip, I bring my phones (my iPhone and Blackberry), camera and iPad (or Kindle). For a business trip, all that plus laptop.

Depends din where we're going or purpose of the trip. Pag walang signal, no use ang phone. Like nung nag US trip kami, I left my phones at home, husband ko lang naka-roaming. Camera of course lalo na kung pasyal trip. Ipad to keep my daughter busy. Laptop for my hubby. Ako, ok na ako sa libro.. (hehe...) Nakiki-iPad na lang or nakiki-laptop na lang sa kanilang dalawa.  :D
