Disaster Management Seminar

A couple of my friends in Manila would meet from time to time. They would discuss Disaster Management and Disaster Preparedness. And in one of my quick stops to Manila, i was able to attend one of their seminars for free.
My friends are very adept in First Aid, Search and Rescue, Self Defense/Military Combatives/, Mountaineering, Camping, Survival and anything that has to do with mother nature.
They were able to condense all their years of experience into one power point presentation but it took the whole day to tackle the it.
First Aid Kits, Go Bags, survival kits, emergency communications, food storage, everything was tackled.
so i was wondering, how many of us here in GT are prepared for a disaster? what measures have you taken to protect you and your family?

i think people will be more open minded or willing to attend or give it time if the seminar is free ..

sir akthung hope maka come up tyo ng free seminar....para narin mas maging handa lahat...or ok din na mag offer ng ganitong seminar sa mga companies para sa mga offices nalang nila magawa mga seminar
