i want to drive my car again and again because i don't want to take public transport.

what i love about driving my car - it's well-maintained, it's relatively fast, it's comfy to drive, i love the sound system (emma and iasca champion), malakas ang busina (hee).

Like Clueless, I hate taking public transport.

I like driving because it feels liberating that i don't depend on my husband to go around the metro or work.

I like driving my car cus it's comfortable and I know it quite well. It functions as a 2nd closet too

Yeah. Public transport is such a hassle.

That's why December 2009, I got myself a Red Yamaha Mio (scooter) to use for riding to work from Makati to Alabang and back.
Super natuwa ako sa motor ko --- but last July 2011, hubby got me a Silver Vios which I called "Tiara" -- kakatuwa din si Tiara kasi it's comfy and I like listening to music while driving kasi relaxing..
I still need to convince myself still though that Tiara is better than mi Cheri Mio..

I used to drive a Galant V6. It was very comfortable, big leg room, and very stable even though you are already going more than a hundred.

Hubby bought just bought the Picanto 2012 for me. It's smaller but I love the bucket type seat. Strong aircon too. The best thing about it is the gas mileage. Super tipid. I cut my gas expense almost by half.

^ so far stable naman. Am actually a fast driver and no problems with it.

The only time I noticed an effect on stability was in NLEX. I was running 110 i think and a bus speeded up on my right side. Am thinking he bus was going 120 or up since naiwan niya ako at my speed. That time, I noticed a sudden drift going to my left but no worries naman coz it was very minimal.

Gives me the speed i want. i drive fast din,. 120 on slex,. i always change lane and overtake,. pag gabi i race with trucks, i know its not right, but ayoko lang din yung feeling nung bigla sila susulpot sa gilid mo and then parang natutulak ka sa gilid,.. so i speed up para malagpasan sila,.. but pag tipid gas mode ako,. i slow down to 80,..

I like driving my car now cus malakas ang ac, I can use my ipod, the ride is smooth.

What I dont like about it is that soft-spoken ang busing

Same with you sisses. I hate public transport . Since I got my own car, nawala na migraine and allergies ko. I can also listen to the music I want . I arrived at work feeling clean and fresh.
Di mo ma -experience yung maupo sa nakakadiring seat cover ng taxi, makatabi ng lasheng na lalaki sa bus/ jeep; hindi ka nasisiksik sa upuan gaya sa FX at walang manyakis at mandurukot na katabi.

Although, stressful ang city driving lalo na kung maraming jeep, trike at ,busses na kasabay mo, it's still convenient . Of course, magastos, pero ok lang if you can afford it,.

^Correct. Plus, with the expensive cab meter nowadays, you're really better off spending that on gas. Hinde pati hassle especially pag umuulan. I also like that my car doubles as a closet heehee

Like most of the posts here, I also hate taking public transport. Ang tatakaw pa sa pasahero ng mga jeepneys dito sa province! Kapag medyo dumilim na, mahirap nang umuwi. When I learned how to drive, hindi ko na problema ang oras. I can go home anytime I want without worrying kung saan ako sasakay pauwi or sino maghahatid sa kin.

tama kayo mga sis, hassle talaga sa bus/jeeps. lalo kapag maulan, goodluck na lang talaga. since weekend lang kami nagkikita ni hubby at weekend lang nagagamit sasakyan, ayaw nya sakin pagamit since preggy ako ngaun. nahihirapan ako mag commute

I like driving my car. Its big, comfy, smooth and reliable. Although not very efficient because its a V6.

I love driving our car right now kasi it's low maintenance. Ewan ko, nanggaling kasi ako sa 10 yr old na crv na hindi naalagaan ng mabuti and madalas na akong tinitirik. My dad trained me with manual cars, I'm not too familiar with matic maintenance. Si hubby ayaw ng hindi matic so no choice ako. Pero what we have right now really gave me comfort. Andun pa rin yung kaba if something feels different when i drive our car pero when i check or kahit ipa check ko, wala namang problema (paranoid lang talaga ako). I also love the convenience it gives us. I drive my little girl to school everyday. Imagine if we have to take the tricycle, tatawid ng busy street and pano pag umuulan pa? Kawawa naman 3-yr old daughter ko. Easy rin for me to go to places na mahirap puntahan. Mahirap na mag commute nowadays.

Very convenient to drive, meaning when you ran errands, can get you to places easily and accomplish your task. If public transport kasi, may time lag. My car too is fuel efficient and never pa naman kami ni-fail, maybe because it's casa-maintained and relatively new pa naman so no worries when driving.

find public transport hassle esp yung mga taxi's na namimili or humihingi ng dagdag..
also, I feel independent when driving.. tsaka it serves as my extra closet on the go.. lol. may mga shoes, slippers and clothes ako sa trunk lol.
