My 13 officemates and I had so much fun in Davao last March 1-4. We booked our tour through Mik of ETours. Our tour guide Cocoy was very good and very nice. Mababait din ang mga naging drivers namin. Sobrang bait nila and always there to help us. Nagawa namin mag-white water rafting, mag-chill in Samal Island, zip line at magpakabusog sa buffet. Here is our itinerary:
Day 1 - We arrived Davao around 9pm. Our flight was delayed. We ate dinner at Luz Kinilaw. Pasara na sila but they still accommodated us. The food was great. Carinderia style. We checked-in sa The Royale House. Malinis and maganda. Pero kulang sa coordination. We had two rooms na triple sharing. Sabi nila na the 3rd person will have to pay Php95 for the breakfast because complimentary breakfast is only good for two. I told them that the package we have includes breakfast for 14 pax for 3 days. According to graveyard shift front desk, hindi daw sila ininform ni Ms. Shanine who was the contact of Etours in Royale House. Na-settle naman when Mik of Etours called them.
Day 2 - Trip to Paradise Resort in Samal Island. It only took us 10 mins to get there. Ang sarap ng food.Super linis ng place. Ang dami nilang staff so maasikaso ka talaga. Around 430pm, we went back to the city. I brought our group to Kuya Ed's. Since it was a Friday, puro yung seafood lang kinain namin. Di kami masyado nasarapan. Pero mababait ang mga staff nila. Pagbalik namin ng Royale House, we asked the front desk if they can get our orders for breakfast in advance kase maaga kami the next day. They agreed naman so we wrote down our order per room.
Day 3 - White Water Rafting. 6:30 pa lang nasa dining area na kami. As expected, they did not prepare our breakfast ahead. So sobrang na-ngarag kami. 7:30 kami nakaalis ng Royal House papuntang BASE CAMP to get our gears. Sobrang sarap mag-rafting. The guides were very good and very funny. Lahat nag tinuro nila na-apply namin. Two rubber boats kami. 7 pax per boat plus the guide. Php 1500 per pax inclusive of shirts and CD. Nag-stop over kame sa Vanishing Falls. Minsan daw kasi walang tubig yun. So swerte kami. Natapos kame ng around 12. Originally, after rafting, we will go Zip City kaya lang umulan at sobrang foggy. May time pa talaga sana. Instead, we went to a durian factory and Aldevinco. That evening before going to San Pedro Cathedral for the anticipated mass, I was able to meet Ms. Joy. Sobrang bait niya. I told her that our Sis chin66ay here in GT ang nag-recommend. She was so accomodating na kabaligtaran ng mga staff niya. And since umulan, Ms. Joy recommended Apong Kula or Tita D's na walking-distance lang from Royale House.
Day 4 - Aldevinco+Magsasay Fruit Stand+ Zip City. Umulan ng madaling-araw until 630am. So we thought di na kami makakapg-zip line. We went back to aldevinco to buy pearls and souvenir shirts. Since 14 kami, naka-discount (yata) kami. Pomelo is Php60 per kilo and the frozen durian is Php 100. Wala pang tao so nauna kami. Php 300 per pax tapos may Php 100 worth of food voucher sa Hilltop resto. Ang sarap ng food kaya sulit. At exactly 12:30 natapos kami mag-lunch and diretso na sa airport.
I will definitely go back to Davao and will stay pa din sa Royale House kasi malinis and very accessible. I know ma-iimprove pa nila ang service nila. Two thumbs-up sa Etours, Base Camp, Zip City and Paradise Island.
