sallee: sis contact mo na lang yung hotels na yun. actually pare-pareho naman sila. decent naman hotels sa davao and halos same rate lang. nagkakaiba lang sa location.
for intro-dive may contact na ba kayo? i think may mga divers sa sta. ana wharf -- di ko lang alam if they offer intro-dive.

poohbear: One10FM? noooo... puro matatanda dun. videoke kasi dun e. most of the time andun mga tito ko para lang kumanta.
try niyo:
- matina town square (MTS) - marami dun mga bars
- Pops sa may venue compound (malapit sa call centers at central bank)
- autoshop

don't forget to try The World's Worst Ribs! yummy and mura lang.

hi sis.. we'll try yung carabao divers or wind and wave for intro dive ni hubby same rate din naman eh. super tight budget lang talaga kasi we were supposed to climb mt. apo pero dahil nataon na baby dance namin, kaya di puwede

i found GV Hotel, downtown, any feedback sis? kaso when i googled it parang motel naman yata.

bahala na si batman pagdating dun.. ang iti ko pa lang is:

1st day - scuba diving then dinner
2nd day - baka scuba dive pa rin si hubby - mukhang lugi ako since di me mag-scuba kasi takot ako eh..

or water tubing
3rd day - samal / paradise island - maxima
4th day - *** if puwede overnight kami sa camp sabros / digos city (malayo ba to?)
5th day - city tour

magulo yata ang iti ko noh?

^^ Sis, thanks sa mga tips. Finally, booked na kme pero with Etours. We'll stay in The Royale House. Day tour kami sa paradise and then the next day, we'll do water rafting and zipline. Excited na ako. Gaano kalayo yung mga suggested bars na sinabi and the The World's Worst Rib? Do we need to take a cab? Ang dami kasi namin 14

I so looooove Davao. Was there with my family last Feb 9-11.. Bitin ang 3 days. Plus Kuya Joey is the sweetest.

Gusto ko na sya gawan ng fan page haha. The food, people and the beach are all great! Gusto ko bumalik.

less than two weeks na lang at wedding na namin. early morning kinabukasan fly to Davao na kami..wala pa rin kaming itinerary. waaah! we're planning to stay sa Royale House sa first night namin dun. pero wala pa kaming reservation. naka reserve na kam isa last night namin sa Pearl Farm..yung second night na lang ang problem. gusto sana namin beach resort din pero cheaper than PF lang..any suggestions?

^^hi cheesecak3, depende kasi sis kung anong trip mo. For me, worth it pumunta ng Samal Island. Ang sarap lang nakaupo sa white sand, though di pa ako nakapunta ng PF, sa Paradise Island lang kami nagpunta.

backread mode na muna ako for our davao trip on july (tagal pa!)

we will be in davao for 6 days. plano ko sana first 2 or 3 days (thurs-friday) sa samal. tamang chillax lang sa beach and i want to see hagimit falls din sana and yung maxima. i initially wanted to spend overnight at pearlfarm pero parang mas sulit if we stay elsewhere.

yung weekend (sat & sun), i'm reserving that for the water rafting and river tubing. 2 lang kasi kami ni husband so umaasa ako that we can tag along with other groups para ma-meet yung minimun number of people. medyo namamahalan ako dun sa whitewater rafting -- sulit ba? how does the rafting in davao compare with that of cdo?

last 2 days (mon-tues), we'll stay na lang siguro within the city para mag-zipline at foodtrip. what do you think?

... or mas better unahin yung city proper (with all the adventure then last 2-3 days na lang yung chillax mode sa samal?

may naka-experience na ba sa inyo nung river tubing sa davao? there is a company called TEAM LAYAK and they do the PAANOD at at Talomo River in Calinan. eto po yung details nila (http://layakoutdoors.multiply.com/ph..._by_Team_Layak)

prob is, I am not sure if they are still in business. hindi kasi nagrereply sa text ko. then according to their site there is a minimum of 6pax. paano kaya yun?

may isa pa, pero sketchy yung details eh -- its in sibulan river in davao del sur, as blogged by ivan henares (http://www.ivanhenares.com/2006/09/w...o-del-sur.html)

gusto ko talaga ma-experience to, pero 2 lang kami ni hubby. any feedback po? yung sa sibulan river, as in parang walk-in nga ba yun & pagdating dun sa place hahanap ka na ng guide?

Just want to share our 4D 3N Davao adventure:
Day 1 - arrived 11:30AM.
Luz Kinilaw Place - grilled pusit, tuna tinola and kilaw. Durian from store beside Luz
Paradise Island - Intro Diving..sulit, acoustic night, billiard
Day 2 - Paradise Island - snorkeling, kayak, swimming. checked out at 11AM and left our luggage with Paradise
Samal Island tour - habal motorcycle at the back gate @300/hour. Went to bat cave, hagimit falls and maxima. di ako ganong nag-enjoy dito.
4:30PM back to Davao city. Checked in at Royal House

Day 3 - Wild water rafting with Davao wild water...ang sarap! Dinner at Crocodile park with crocodile sisig
Day 4 - Zip city, aldevinco souvenir shop, lunch at Nanay Bebeng

Total expenses: 27K excluding the airfare
Sulit ang bakasyon namin ni hubby, parang renewal of vows after 11 years hehe.

^^ Sis Wishful2010, halos pareho tayo ng itinerary. Ipagsasama nga lang namin ang White Water Rafting and Zip City. How's the food in Davao White Water Rafting and Royal House? Saan nyo nilagay mga personal stuff nyo while water rafting?

mga sisses, nakapagpa-book ako 1097 for 2pax RT Clark-Davao ngayon Holy week. Sale Ngayo sa AirAsia. Dami kong itatanong. Later ako magba-back read, wala pang ticket si hubby, anak namin yung isa sa ticket.

Ano yung pinakamurang Hotel sa Davao?
Tsaka ano-ano yung pwedeng pasyalan ng 2days lang?

@sis poohbear: hi, di na kakayanin na isabay yung zip city and water rafting kasi til 4:30pm lang yung zip city and medyo sasadyain mo pa, while the river rafting naman ends at about 4:30pm, then you'll have to shower pa.So like what they normally suggest, the next day na yung zip city.

Okay naman yung packed lunch sa river rafting-chicken adobo, lumpia and boiled egg. sa royale house naman, usual breakfast lang, served at 6:30-9AM lang. If you want, you can try Nanay Bebeng's buffet at 295/pax. yung chippen's buffet di na namin napuntahan, wala ng time. Masarap yung food sa Lumad sa Jack ridge.

@sis em_malong. I think Royale House is not bad..it's at 1300/de luxe room, with 20%discount kung cash. it's very accessible pa, in the heart of the city. i suggest you choose the 3rd floor rooms kasi it's a little bigger than in 2nd floor, same rate lang naman. Ano pala yung 2 days mo, sa city na ba or you want to spend it in the beach?

makikisali rin mga sis, nakapag pa book kaming 4 including 2 daughters tru airasia May 30-June 3 kami. mukhang city tour lang kami kasama kasi may 2 year old kaming kasama baka matakot sa boat. ask ko sana how can I contact Royale house, 4 nights kasi kami dun baka pwedeng manghingi ng discount, hehe. I want to ask rin sana ng suggestions sa mga pwedeng maging itinerary. thanks in advance mga sis!

hi arlene_sarmiento: royale house contact no is 09228063630. you can get an automatic 20% discount if you pay in cash.
For the IT, you can also go to paradise island since it's just a 10-minute boat ride from the wharf, unlike in pearl farm where you need to travel 45minutes by boat. for city tour, seems like crocodile farm and butterfly house lang yung pwede, though di naman sya ganun ka-outstanding.

By the way, did you formerly work with BASF before? medyo familiar kasi yung name mo
