ganun pala itsura ng monggo... diba sa school we plant monggo seeds as a project, mabilis sya tumubo. same ba yun? if i put the seeds in a bigger pot, dadami at tutbo ng monggo ulit?  akala ko toge ang labas nya eh.  mukhang toge kasi or same ba yun? pasencya na, di ko talaga alam.

Yung bawang na tanimko so far di nilapinapansin hehe

Hi Sis, sabi sa akin ng Kuya ko, it started daw as togue, so tama ka na same as yung project natin nung elementary, but with this, kailangan sa soil mo siya itanim at hindi sa wet cotton. Then, after niya maging togue, dun na magsstart daw siya na magcolor brown, then saka magkakaroon ng leaves, then yung pod na. Yung pod daw, pag medyo natuyo na, then, thats the time daw na pwede mo na siya iharvest at okay na yung monggo inside. Warning lang, para makaipon ka ng monggo na pangluto, you need a lot of monggo plants! Hahaha. Pero nakakatuwa lang itanim for experience. By the way, binunot na ni kuya yung monggo niya!

Parsley lang herb namin eh, and outdoor siya nakatanim. Walang ibong sa amin.... now I'm wondering bakit kaya wala? Hmmm....  :)

I'm so happy may ganitong thread! Kakatuwa yung mga gardens nyo! I just started my own mini (as in SUPER mini) herb garden. Nagtanim ako ng basil, oregano and spearmint. Mahilig kasi ako sa tea hehe. I placed them in trays with soil-less mix. Sana tumubo!

Sisses, aside from Manila Seedling Bank, pwede rin kayo bumili ng seeds and gardening materials (like soil-less mix, trays, pots, and even potted plants kung gusto nyo yung potted na kagad. :) sa Harbest, sa may Pasig lang yun. They have everything na and they can teach you how to plant and start your own gardens. Meron din silang seeds for vegetables and fruits, hindi lang herbs.

My basil herbs are starting to peek through! Hihi I feel like an excited mommy. Maliliit palang but I can see them na! : I can't say the same for the oregano and the mint though. Haha. Matagal ba talaga tumubo yun? I'm thinking baka I did something wrong with them. Oh well.

I want to plant calamansi. Difficult ba and tumatangkad yun?

I have a brown thumb kasi. Namamatay plants when i care for them. But if i let them be, ok naman. Hehe

We, in the cities, should really plant. Kasi it also helps with the pollution. Sana lahat ng household may garden or maski pots of plants lang. I tnink that would help na rin maski paano. Keep it up, girls!
