I gave birth two years ago at Asian so hopefully pareho pa rin ngayon. Sa Huggery nagstay si baby. We brought a lot of baby things din but they said they cant use them. When asked, they told me for safety/hygiene purposes kasi we opted for baby to stay in the Huggery. But when you're checking out na, you can provide the baby clothes and blanket.
Regarding naman sa iyak ng iyak ang baby sa Huggery. When I was visiting my son in the Huggery to breastfeed him, madalas tulog. Kala ko nga ang bait bait naman nya. But the nurse told me he also cries in the Huggery. Kaya lang tulog when Im there and parang ang bait, kasi na feed na nila ng glucose (Im not so sure about the exact name na). They didnt give formula to my son because I said Im going to breastfeed. Hindi rin nila ako sinabihan na umiiyak si baby. I just thought its normal kasi yung ibang babies sa Huggery, umiiyak din.
If ever there's a next baby, I'll opt to room in na lang if I'm going to breastfeed. Kasi I had to go down in the wee hours of the morning to feed tapos si baby antok naman so hindi rin magfeed. Tsaka alam ko na magalaga ng newborn so ok na room-in.
For first time mommies who has the budget, ok ang Asian kasi Hubby can stay with you during delivery. And less hassle in buying meds and remembering to take them. Food, ok lang. But I would have preferred that they gave fiber rich food lalo na if may tahi ka down there. Inis na inis ako when I couldnt poop the first week bec it was so painful. Sinumpa ko ata lahat ng pagkain nilang sinerve sakin lalo na yung porkchop at beef. haha. And get pala the free arranged meal in their canteen. We opted to have it inside room bec nahassle ako bumaba. Pero someone who got it told me sayang. Maganda daw yung arrangement, etc.
