Hi mga sis!
I was thinking about iui procedures, di ba ang usual is:
Clomiphene day 3-7
Puregon shot day 3-5
Follicle monitoring day 10
Iui day 11
Pregnyl after iui

If may dominant follicles ka both ovaries then nung nakita sa tvs may malaki sa isang ovary then pregnyl shot na di ba? Does that follow na maburst na ALL follicles kahit yung padevelop pa lang at wala na silang chance lumaki? Sayang naman gusto ko minsan sabihin na wag na lang ako bigyan ng pregnyl shot para kung walang laman yung isang follicle pwede pa mahintay yung isa pang dominant.

Hi sis Lei,

Yes pwedeng naging ganyan per cycle. But will vary pa din sa body natin kung nakiki-cooperate ba. Yung mature follicle lang mag burst and no chance ng makahabol the others kasi pregnyl will take effect at most 24 hrs.

^sis usually di covered ang mga fertility treatments dito satin (like maxicare,intellicare etc). it depends sa coverage ha pero sa basic healthcards, hindi..

sis better ask your healthcard provider nalang.. like yung amin, may mga OB na affiliated, so bale consultation covered pero yung procedures like sperm washing and FM hindi.. kaso blockbuster ang pila dun sa 1st OB ko na covered sa Maxicare kaya I opted to change nalang,,

sis with regards to the protocol you posted above, may ibang OB na pregnyl muna then IUI the day after.. ang pagkakainitindi ko sis, the pregnyl shot gives them an extra boost para lumaki, yung maliliit pwede pa humabol, it depends talaga sa response mo sa meds.

Mga sis pwede ba yun sa iui, after mainject ang sperm no pregnyl shot? Feeling ko kasi mas mataas chance makaconceive that way kasi kung walang egg laman ang isang dominant follicle baka yung iba na magburst pa may egg na laman at mas mataas chance mafertilize.
Kaya feeling ko ok din yung protocol sa kato iv center they do not force the follicle to burst they wait.

sis lei, pwede yun no pregnyl shot pero dapat constant monitoring like sa Kato. dapat timed kasi pag burst ng follicle, the egg will only stay for 12-24 hrs kaya dapat may available na sperm for fertilization..

I tried 2 IUI's before, sadly both failed even with very good follies, 4 dominant.. kaya I'm moving on to IVF next year.. but hoping to try one more IUI sa ibang Ob..

hi mga sis,im new here, ttc din kami FOR 2 Years, mahirap lang kasi seaman si hubby kaya hinde din makabuobuo. hormonal imbalance ako at si hubby hinde pa nakapa check,before na try na din namin ang clomid but no luck, gusto namin e try ang iui, ito ang tanong ko, ano ang mga laboratory test before iui? bulacan kac ako, mayron po ba kayo ma recommened na ob na talagang mataas ang success rate sa iui? at saka naka magkano naabot ninyo?? thanks mge sis...

Hi sis bebetty,

Undergone 2 IUIs at CARMI - SLGC. Yes may mga test. Depende sa case mo. If may PCOS or other immunological probs. then sperm analysis kay hubby.

Regarding the cost. Pa iba iba because of your case and the meds na gagamitin.

thanks a lot for the reply sis, by January ako magpa HSg at balak namin mag IUI on March, have you heard about KATO sis? marami din kaya nag success sa IUI sa kanila? wala pa kac akong nabasa na thread dito na nag success ang IUI nila sa KATO..mahirap kasi lang kasi laging wala si hubby.

sana mag success na ang 3rd IUI nyo sis..god bless you always..baby dust to all

Hi sis bebetty30, sana nga. Pero medyo doubtful na ako na mabuo. Nalaman ko lang kasi na APAS ako just a few days ago.

Oo nabasa ko yung thread ng KATO here. Hindi ko lang alam ang success rate nila. Pero sabi the success daw will depend on the embryologist.

IUI#3 Failed... Today is CD2. Moving on to IVF.

@xirty - OT po. You may check on other thread re IVF. But to answer it quickly natural IVF doesntuse ovulation stimulating drugs (e.g.. clomid, femara, etc. etc)

sis mishka. hanggang 3 tries lang ba suggested ni OB nyo for IUI? kami 6, I already failed twice kaya moVe on na din kami sa IVF early next year..

Hi sis cess, the max is 6 tries. But kasi sabi ng OB ko it's not cost effective and the amount ng gastos namin for 3 tries is already half of the amount of IVF. Plus kinukulit na kami ng father in law ko everyday!!! Lols! Kaya double time na ito!

Hello mga sis. Cd6 today. Clomid cd4 to cd8. Gonal f injection cd5 and cd6. Sana magkaron ako ng dominant follicles para matuloy IUI namin this cycle.

Hello all

I'm new in this thread pero matagal na akong nagbabasa ng mga posts dito. I just finished my first IUI YESTERDAY with Dra.Jing Fernandez St.Lukes QC. So I need all your prayers. Napa-post ako dito kasi na-excite ako.Hehe. Pati hubby ko excited. Kaya lang ayaw namin magkaroon ng sobrang high hopes. Inihanda ko na sarili ko if hindi successful, we plan to undergo more IUI's pa.
I'm 34 yrs. old. 33 naman si hubby. 3 years na kaming TTC. PCOS ako and low sperm count si hubby. Fortunately just this October 2012 normal na count ng asawa ko tapos ako naman na-cure na ang PCOS. We tried normal contact ng November pero di pa rin nabuo kaya nag-decide na kami magpa-IUI this December.
Nag-decide na din kami lumipat ng OB at hospital at si Dra.Jing Fernandez ang napili namin based on research namin. Hehe. Pero infairness naman sa previous OB ko, siya ang nakapag-pagaling ng PCOS ko.
Tapos nung dito na kami kay Dra. Jing, first nag-TVS ako, next in-x-ray ni Dra. ang uterus ko, awa ng Diyos ok naman lahat, no blockage sa fallopian tubes etc. Ang problema lang super liit ng mga follicles ko. So I took injections para lumaki. Tapos ayun ini-sched nako ako for IUI kahapon. In 2 weeks time daw malalaman result kung successful or hindi. I'm trying so hard na wag ma-tense while waiting for the result kasi dagdag stress. Hehe. Sinasabi ko na lang kay Lord God, Thy Will Be done. I don't go to work na nga pala. Nag-resign nako last year to give more time sa pagtata-try mabuntis.
