do you guys shampoo your hair 3 days after your rebond? me kasi i only use conditioner for the first few days..i feel like the chemicals uswd for rebonding are going tk be stripped away..mas maganda rin kasi result kung hindi isshampoo agad pag pwede na basain

Has anybody here tried having your hair colored first then a month after nagpa rebond?
Ako kasi, ganun ginawa ko and I'm not happy with the result :-(
I don't know if it has something to do with the salon or if tama ba ganun pinagawa ko or mali ang timing or what.... :-(
Hindi naman nasira hair ko, but am not satisfied with the result/outcome because feeling ko hindi masyado kumapit gamot or kumontra ciya with the hair color or what....
Ganito kasi nangyari:
Nov 1 - hair color treatment was done, loreal naman ginamit (daw?!)
Then on the 4th day, after ko maligo at matuyo yung hair ko... feeling ko di siya masyado straight (as expected).  So a week after bumalik ako sa salon to complain.  Ang sabi, balik daw ako after 2 weeks kasi dindi pwede repair baka masira... To cut the story short, inulit ang rebond sakin, spent another 4 hours sa salon but i don't know lang kung loreal pa din ginamit because parang iba na amoy :-(  Ok siya for 3 days and to my dismay... ganun ulit :-(

I'm not really sure if it really has something to do prior to my hair coloring or baka lang kasi sobrang immune na hair ko sa gamot or what....

Any insights?  Or anybody here experienced same situation as mine?  tia!

^ you should've rebonded your hair then color.... there are some hair coloring chemicals that can block the cuticle layers of your hair... making hair rebonding ineffective…

Sis brattinella, do you have any idea ilang months ulit ako pwede magpa rebond?

@aubrey888 i think kailangan muna mawala yung hair color... before you rebond again... you did rebond already... so baka sobrang damaged ng hair mo right now... i suggest go to a 'reputable' salon... expensive but worth your money...

try to treat your hair on a weekly basis para di ganun ka damaged yung hair mo  ;)

@akireyhoj meron sis na pwede.. depende sa color na ginamit sa iyo... or possible na matagal na color ng hair niya more than 3 months already...

Actually sis di naman damaged hair ko, di lang siya straight talaga (as expected as in parang rebonded).  In short, di siya gaya nung dati na bagsak talaga ang pagkaka straight.... now, parang wala lang... parang di nagpa rebond and normal look lang...
As to salon, i only go to either kerastase (ayala-makati) or davids for rebond...
I forgot to mention pala yung hair color ko is my first time  ;D  Sanay kasi ako ng long, black hair lagi and yung hair color napag tripan ko lang para new look sana, hehe.  Buti na lang the color i chose is more on the shade of black/brown kaya di rin masyado halata  :)  Maybe tama nga sis sinabi mo that baka 'na block ng hair color treatment cuticles ng buhok ko kaya parang di masyadong na absorb yung hair rebond kaya di siya naging effective....  In short, waste of money!   >:(

sakin naman I had my hair colored with highlights pa.  pero nagparebond ako after 6 months na.  and so far wala naman naging prob.

^ sis, di kaya may problema yung pagkarebond sa iyo?  hindi nila masyadong inunat when they are straightening it?  before kasi nagparelax ako, 2 balik pako nun at pinaulit ko nga (sa Azta) - sobrang palpak at sinira lang nila hair ko. then later, I realized, hindi maayos ang pagkablowdry nila (para umunat ang hair) - hindi nila masyado hinila pa-straight.

I don't know sis blooming.  Senior hair stylist naman gumawa... I don't know if I am allowed to say the branch but it's davids salon...  As far as i know, pare-pareho lang naman standard nila sa pag rebond...  Maybe tama nga sinabi ni sis bratinella, i should have my hair rebonded first before have it colored...
If mali pagkakagawa, i don't know...
Well, lesson to be learned....  ;D  One more thing, i'll never ever go back to that salon again! Ever!  ::)

^that's what i don't like about some salons... they are just there for the money & not "advise"/treat their customers well...

good thing i found my fave salon... studio fix... they don't sell you products or force you to buy their treatments... i thought my hair is damaged... but when i asked the senior stylist, he/she :P said that my hair is ok & next time i opt for keratin smoothing treatment instead of rebond... if i want to :)

and with keratin smoothing treatment... much better to have your hair colored first... :D
