@imyourangel: that's what my friend and her fiancee are planning on doing (calaruega chapel then josephine's). may i know which hotel your newlywed friends stayed?

@lorah: nope. matagal na namin hinohope na magkaroon ng theater there (not movie theater, though, but for plays)

^last sunday ma traffic... yung way na papuntang manila... as in super slow moving... add to that na may mass sa lourdes...

Bad trip with the boutique..

Planned to spent 2 days (dec 27-28)..for our wedding anniv. It was indicated in their email to pay 3500 per night for the deposit, which I did naman, deposited at their metrobank acct last oct pa...amounting to 7000.

So off we went yesterday and checked in. Later this afternoon, the desk officer called us reminding about the check out time. I told them na alam ko til tom pa reservation ko..tapos inexplain nila "dec 27 check in, dec 28 check out". Seriously. Ka bad trip talaga. They offered to have our stay at the ground floor na room which we dont like..di na daw kame pwede mag extend because may naka reserve na daw na iba.

we stayed in Keni po last christmas. affordable sya 1500 per night. i liked that the staff are kapampangans also and they were nice. the room was nice too, clean and also the pool.although don;t expect a big room for this price. what i didn't like is walang hot shower and medyo malamok because nakagat baby ko. the food was very ordinary lang and we expected more because they were kapampangans. and natawa din si hubby kasi when he called up room service at 6am for coffee sabi mamaya na daw because tulog pa yung cook hehe. we didn't expect that. so lumabas pa talaga kame for breakfast. di naman sila mahigpit yun nga lang don't expect much from room service. probably we'll return pa din kasi it's affordable kaso sana may iba pa kami mahanap na mas okay.

yey nakaka-excite coz tagal ko ng di nagpupunta dun! ano bang magandang gawin aside from foodtripping. balikan lang kami kasi may pasok na mga tao the following day! (aaww. vacation over

)

cannot wait to buy a box of ube & buko tarts from Rowena's again!! Woooot

hindi lang siguro kayo nagkaintindihan, kasi pag dec.27-28 considered as one day lang yun. (2pm - 12nn). so dapat dec. 27-29, pinareseve mo, if sinabi mo naman two days ang reservation mo, dapat nakanote din yun sa kanila at vinerify nila ulit yung date na gusto mo (kung 1 or 2 days). kaya ako pag nagpabook, lagi thru email para may copy ako ng pinag-usapan namin, just in case may mga aberya na ganyan.

dati nga nagpabook ako thru online, may confirmation number pa na binigay yung website ng hotel, pero pagdating ko sa hotel, hindi pala kami nakabook. kahit pinakita ko pa yung printed copy ng confirmation nila. buti na lang may available na room pa, yun nga lang nagsiksikan na lang kami 4 sa isang room.

Lamig last night sa labas, sobra!

Yung room namin may partial view ng lake, ang ganda nung mga 6am kanina, parang scene sa the mist :p hehe.. highly recommended ko tong taal vista hotel, i have nothing bad to say.. excellent service, courteous staff, breathtaking view.. we've already decided to comeback here sa susunod na bakasyon

Just got back from tagaytay. Dapat hanggang bukas kami dun kaya lang, somehow, I got bored & the need to go back to Makati suppressed. Buti na lang overnight stay Lang binayaran ko.

We stayed at Villa Ibarra & got the honeymoon suite in a discounted price. The room is separated from the house itself at talagang may privacy ang honeymooners. Although we weren't "honeymooning", somehow, the idea of having the solo room with a fantastic view thrilled me. Yun nga lang, di abot ang wifi so we had to go to the lawn para makasagap ng signal. Di ko rin matagalan sa labas coz it's cold! As in mas malamig pa sa room namin. My skin started to get dry & peeling again

Villa Ibarra is nice coz it's relatively new & the staffs are nice, food is so-so. Masarap pag gutom ka syempre! LOL

They could improve more. We could have stayed pa sana dun Kung available Lang yung standard room nila kaya Lang occupied so we decided to go back to makati & stay in our fave botique residence. Matrapik din papunta at pabalik.

We ate at RSM & ang Starbucks parang pila sa sinehan, ang haba! I wanted to go to Bag of Beans kaya Lang trapik din papuntang Olivarez so we went back to VB by just walking. Naka-ilang back & forth din kami nun coz we were looking for a good place to eat & relax. After 3 hours, we went back to Starbucks at medyo humupa na ang pila.

It was a nice out of town/overnight experience for him. At least naigala ko sya out of Manila. We'll come back again & stroll different areas too.

expect heavy traffic in Tagaytay talaga during holidays. fave hangout na kasi sya ng mga tao from the city since malapit and malamig. it's good if you know shortcuts/alternate routes. pero eventually, you'll have to pass by congested areas pa rin.

weather report: chilly, especially at night and early morning because of a bit of drizzling

Sarap ng weather dun the other day. Malamig! Kaso medyo nag-drizzle nung hapon na.. Buti nga walang traffic papunta and pabalik. I heard kasi super traffic dun nung Sunday (New Year).

we stayed in balay indang last weekend. we really enjoyed our stay there, staff were all nice. food was superb!

went there last week.....i so love the weather, luckily di kami na-traffic papunta at pauwi via the Eton - Greenfields exit ...everything went on so smooth, di kami napagod sa biyahe considering galing pa kami ng Central Luzon
