Any feedback about MGC NEW LIFE in the Fort ?

Hello peeps! Any feedback about MGC? Its a chinese school in the fort with Christian education. I hear they have international standards and super hard to get into that school?

pamangkin ko goes to that school,  panay raves naman naririnig ko sa parents nya.  yes it is very hard to get into that school kasi small community lang sya,  ilang sections lang per batch.  maliit lang rin kasi yung school compared sa ibang private school.

Hi! I'm an alumna of MGC New Life and am actually one of the graduates from the earlier batches. without bias, i can say that MGC NL is a great school. Not only does it provide education when it comes to academics but also when it comes to values and lessons in life. I have been raised by the school in a holistic manner - excelling both it academics and character.

It's a relatively young school. It's going to be the school's 22nd year this 2012. It maintains a ratio of 1:~20 per class to preserve the quality education ~30-40 students graduate every year from high school.

As with Chinese subject, it does not promote pure memorization. They teach students to both understand and master the language.

Hi.  Anyone here who has a child currently enrolled in preschool at MGC?

I called MGC a few days ago, they said application is one year in advance. For example if you plan to enter in 2014, aug of 2013 you should submitt the application form and requirements already. Assessment will be on 2014. I was wondering can anyone give tips on how to have a successful assessment in MGC? Like should the child be bibo? Magaling mag count? talkative? Shy? Madami kasi akong kilala who didn't make it but they are very smart kids.

may kilala ako na nakapasa ng nursery na medyo shy yung kid.  pero he knows his numbers, letters, shapes and colors.  hindi pa naman sya marunong magsulat pero may may simple words na sya na kayang basahin.  minsan nasa mood rin ng bata nung time ng assessment.

Hi! MGC New Life alumna here.

Nope, it is not a requirement for your child to memorize the Bible para makapasok sa school na to. Pero, merong mga Bible classes which will entail your child to memorize some or a few bible verses. Dont worry, though, kasi for sure, this will be of help in the future.
