Kung mahina ka sa lamig, yes you need socks. Eek, opkors you need socks. If it can wait, you can just buy it in HK pagdating  mo dun.

if it's just for HK, and will just be worn for a couple of days, payless has some boots and they're very reasonably priced. hindi nga lang leather.

def check out Payless. they have some leather-ish boots pa-ilan ilan. suede yung new arrivals (which i super duper love) but meron ding ibang material.

What is the price range of 'reasonably-priced'? If boots of genuine leather, mga nakikita ko mababa na ang around 5k.

Anyway, F21 have some of synthetic leather/suede too, although baka mas better pa nga ang quality ng Payless. Payless' Dexter brand makes decent shoes.

yes meron SA payless, gusto ko din sana kasi it cost mga 2k lang yata, but mukhang comfy naman sya,

if pang HK lang madami even sa greenhills sa BABO   meron sila mga ganun ng range sa 1,500-2k pataas

sa Zara meron din minsan pg sale reasonable na din ang price

theyre less than 1500 and i super duper love them. i'd think theyll be ok if for HK lang.

Always wear socks, whatever the type of boots, whatever the weather.

IMO, the most reasonably priced boots sold locally are those at Zara's.

But consider buying for the long term.  You are likely to be travelling again.  Boots arent' necessarily only for cold weather,more for comfort and safety.  In NYC, you need so-called Winter boots -- the difference being it has a lot more traction, & lining for warmth/insulation.  I do not think you need that for HK winter.  Get something that will serve you well for at least 5 years.  So, when you say "cheap"/reasonably-priced... do not think "throw away" or single-use, but your investment in comfort and style over x no. of years.

I always buy my boots sa Nine West sa US, pero syempre sa US ko din ginagamit everytime i visit  during winter.
Yung binili ko 2 years ago, yun pa rin gamit ko, sobrang nasulit ko na sa gamit. Super comfy.

Nag check din ako sa Forever 21 dyan sa Pinas, pero mukhang masakit sa paa.

Dahil Thanksgiving Sale, got myself a wedge booties from Natuaralizer. Super cheap na after the discounts and everything.

I forgot, may boots din pala ang Schu. Maganda ang quality at mrami choices before. Not sure lang ngayon. Nag sale kasi sila ng around September-October. And i got rin pala a boots from there for around 999 pesos. Dating P 4,500.00.

i own 4 pairs of boots, i only get to wear them when im out of the country, dito kasi sa pinas parang naiilang ako, parang lahat nalang nakatingin sa akin as if "bakit ka naka boots?'. where do u wear your boots mga sisses? pinagtitinginan din ba kayo?

^Ako sis sa workplace, usually naka boots ako. Mukha naman akong normal. Sanay na silang mahilig ako sa boots pero hindi naman ito yung oA na boots. Midi to ankle boots lang. Then, nasa US naman ako ng twice a year kaya ayun,gamit komdin dun.

I love boots. Even when I'm in the Ph I find ways to wear them. Dedma nalang sa "Nasan ang horse mo?" jokes. Lol! The best boots I bought were the ones from a shop called Jessica in Rockwell, made from a soft material na abot hanggang thighs. Around 5k ata. Pero ang ganda ganda kasi eh. Maybe only wore it 5x since buying it a few years ago. I know, hinde ko pa siya nasusulit.

i have 4 paris din. I brown and 1 black knee length and 2 more blacks na ankle lenth lang.

parang hindi ko nga masusuot ang boots sa Pinas, kase diba mainit. HIndi naman comportable, masusuot ko lang siya the day of my flight. Dun ko lang siya masuot.

Pero kase for me hindi naman pamporma ang boots eh, this is to really keep you warm lalo na kung lamigin kang tao tulad ko, saken kase if super lamig like winter eh hindi pwedeng normal shoes lang kase manginginig talga ko. So pang harabas ko talga ang boots sa winter time.

I got mine from Aldo and Vincci. Bought them during summer time na nag sale ng boots so it was really a steal!
