a friend of ours suggested to go to Dragon Mart.. one friend naman sabi sa may SABA daw, sa may TCA. never been there so hindi ko alam exact location

^For those in Dubai, you may check out some stores in Karama. Affordable yun mga Christmas Trees dun, as for the quality di ko masyadong sure. I guess ok na rin. May store dun sa dulo ng souk, near the bus station. Tapos there's another one on the street adjacent to that, yun street na may furniture shops.

Meron din daw sa Deira, sa may Baniyas Road. HTH.

mga sis baka may alam kayong may opening, office work,HR/payroll kasi hawak na work dati. andyan kasi yung utol ko, tourist visa lang..naghahanap ng work.

keisha-sophia, same situation tayo 2 months pa lang ako sa dubai, was hired from phil legally thru agency, im an assistant pastrybchef tapos sobrang bad din ng employer ko, di lang sakin pero sa lahat ng workers, di niya kami pinag bbreak nagagalit siya kapag nag bbreak kami, tapos ang contract komis max of 9 hrs work lang, tapos lagi niya sinasabi na she's not happy with me etc etc... dumating na sa sukdulan so me and another filipino went to ministry of labour to file a case against her, kasi under probi period pa kami and if under probation ka the law says that you can abondon your work without notice if the employer violates the contract or the labour law. so ayun pagdating ng labor nag usap usap na sila ng arabo, di namin alam mukhang kami na ang nabaliktad.

we were imposed a 1 year banned and cannot get our remaining salary. plus we need to buy our own ticket pauwi ng pinas at yung passport namin nasa employer pa. so eto nilalakad na ng agency namin ang repatriation naming dalawang pinoy. sisters pkease include me in your prayers. i wanna go back home.

hi jhel, i hope you still remember me. I bought some items from you before noong nasa Pinas pa ako. Im here in Bahrain since 2007. I was reading your post before when you were still planning of going to Dubai, I was not expecting na tutuloy ka since mababa din yun offer. I was also surprise na umabot sa ganito yun situation mo. I feel sorry for you sis, I hope na maresolve agad yan and makauwi na kayo safely. Just keep on praying.

Hi fellow GTs in Dubai! Been here for 2 weeks na and I am already searching for a good but affordable school in Dubai. Need to plan na rin kasi if I want to bring my son here. Anyway, may alam ba kayo na ok na school near Deira? San nagschool kids nyo? TIA!

ang hirap naman ng nakuhang mo amo. ako din naka-experience ng di magandang company nung bago pa lang ako dito sa abu dhabi. mababait ang mga boss namin na locals kaya lang puro egyptian naman ang mga officers sa company kaya grabe din nakakainis. kaso that time wala talaga akong choice kasi need to stay for 3 years. tinapos ko talaga ang contract ko. 3 years na AED 2,000 ang sweldo ko, walang libreng tiket. buti nga ngayon eh 2 years na lang. pero after that naman eh nakahanap ako ng mas better offer at company. after ko makaalis sa panget na company eh sinuwerte naman ako sa mga next employers ko. mag 2 years na ako dito sa pinakabago kong job/company. pray ka na lang na sana swertehin ka din at kahit employed ka pa dyan eh makahanap ka ng work sa government para walang problema na lumipat ka.

Anyone here who has taken basic photography classes in Dubai? I've heard of one Pinoy group, OPPPS.. any feedback sa kanila?

I remember years back nag-aral ako ng graphic design sa OWWA ata yun, hindi ako natuto.

AED 100 lang binayad namin for registration and medyo madami kami, di natutukan. I guess kasalanan ko din, hindi ako ganun ka-focused.

Sis sweetmom, you can try to inquire sa mga Filipino schools like TPS (The Philippine School) at rashidiya or UIPS (United Intl Private School) at al qusais, cheaper ang tuition compared mga international schools

walang nakalagay sa site nila when ang start ng next batch (nagstart na nung august yun isang batch). I'll visit their site na lang from time to time, anyway magvacation pa ako next month, sayang naman kung maka-miss ako ng classes.

wala pala talagang Pinoy OB dito sa Abu Dhabi... Meron po ba kayong mairerecommend na OB kahit di pinoy pero magaling? aside from Dr. Mary (Lifeline) and Dr. Raja (IBN Nafees)? I'm currently with Dr. Mary, gusto ko lang sana mag try ng iba. Sa Corniche Hospital ba may mairerecommend kayo na magaling na OB?

If sa Corniche hospital ka, most will recommend to see a midwife instead an OB... I gave birth at Ahalia Hospital, my OB then was Dr. Jaya. Nice si Dr. Jaya but won't recommend that hospital. Wala lang akong choice non coz of my medical insurance.

I have friends who gave birth at Al Noor, I'll ask them kung sino ang OB nila.
