^I also agree. kung bago pa lang kayo, hindi mo kilala family nya then a big NO. you don't have to say No naman na as in ayaw mo lang. tell him wala ka pang Cash.

If you know the guy for a long time and the reason tapos may money ka naman, go na! For me, give and take process lang yan. If the time comes na ikaw naman mangailangan siya naman yung tutulong sayo. If you love the person you got no choice but to help eh. So madalas ako nanlilibre/gumagastos.
It's so hard when you miss someone so much and you cannot do anything about it.

If he needs it for urgent reasons (like emergency in family, tuition), i might consider lending him money. But if it's for personal shopping lang naman, i will bluntly tell him to save for it, LOL!

Yes. In our case parang palitan lang. Uutang akp di na nya papabayaran kasi daw ginagastos ko naman for us tapos ganun din naman pag siya yung uutang. We don't keep track or record kung magkano utang namin with each other. Give and take kasi kami, kung sino may cash on hand hiram muna hehe

Di ko pa nabibigay yung money kase wala pa sweldo hehe...pero ok lang saken na nangutang sya kase sya naman talaga gumagastos sa mga lakad saka nung nasa abroad sya he was sending me money naman so I think its time to return the favor...hehe

Tsk tsk ngayon halos everyday umiiyak.

Yes, nagpapahiram ako ng pera. The last time I lend my money, hindi na ako nabayaran pero ayos lang.

i already posted my answer here previously. pero naalala ko lang kasi ngayon, i had to lend him 10k kasi nagkataon pinadala lahat money nya dito sa pinas tapos ngayon, he's in the hospital. to me, hindi na question, actually i volunteered kasi i know he needs the money and mas maraming times nya pa nga ko napahiram kahit wala sya dito sa pinas. :)

Hello mga sis, new to this part of the forum. I think lending money to a boyfriend is okay as long as you know why he needs it and where he's going to use it. Depende na din sa laki.

Sumagot nako, ang answer ko hindi.

Pero naisip ko pala pag kailangan nya ng cash now pero wala lang syang cash sa wallet at alam kong may pera sya, I will not mind to lend him now, provided, he is not asking me to lend him, ako mismo ang mag-ooffer. hehe Gulo ba?  Pero kung nag ask sya o di kaya alam kong walang pera sya tapos need nya magspend ng cash ng a certain amount, naku, forget it.  It is a sign lang how irresponsible he is.

But as a rule of thumb, bf/gf palang, pag naging habit ang pag-uutang bad sign na sya. the guy is not responsible enough sa finances nya. que na ospital pa man sya or dahil sa pamilya nya. tapos eventually babayaran ka pa in several gives, naku, not good iyan.

Yes, as long as kaya ko naman and hindi sa luho. :)

There was a time na gusto nya humiram para sa sapatos na hindi naman kelangan. That time kaya sya nanghihiram kasi wala lang syang pera sa wallet nya, pero may pera sya sa bahay. So pag-uwi sa bahay saka nya ako babayaran. Hehe

Yes, there were some emergency cases at ako pa mismo nagpilit sa kanya na manghiram muna siya sa akin. Ayaw niya kasi ng utang but I had to convince him because of the need. He pays as soon as he can :)

seaman din si bf and medyo nashort siya nitong last uwi niya kasi dami niya na-renew na certificates. pinahiram ko siya for his training. di ko na alam magkano pero wala pa un 10k for sure. but anyways okay lang naman yun kasi nasa barko na siya ulet now and before siya umalis iniwan nagopen siya ng BDO remittance under my name. every month 10k yung padala niya dun eh 1.5 year siya sa barko sa aabot ng 150k yung makukuha ko. dun ko nadaw kukunin yung bayad sa hiniram niya sakin saka extra money ko nadin daw pag ako naman nagipit. pero syempre di ko gagastusin yun 10k basta basta kasi plan ko ipunin yun pang-down ng townhouse pag may nakita ako. we want to have a house muna kasi before we get married  :)

pero i also had my fair share of mishaps sa mga ex ko. buti nalang kuripot ako magpautang sa kanila. 500 lang ata yung max. haha
