^ I agree. I attended a function there and Chef L was even there. Hindi ko rin nagustuhan ang food. Yung Bfast naman sa Ayala Triangle, kokonti lang kumakain. Overrated yata ang food ni Chef L.

RUB Ribs and BBQ in Kapitolyo, Pasig (& I know there's one in Morato area)

Ribs is yummy and sooooooo affordable! =)

^Yes sis, smorgasbord ang order namin. Hay sobrang nakakabusog. he!he!he! We ordered the ff:
1. 3 kinds of Pizza - 4 Cheese, Basilica(medyo strong si truffle oil), Torre del Greco (my fave kasi feeling ko healthy sya with all that dahon on top.ha!ha!
2. Tazmanian Devil Roll
3. Carbonara Pasta
4. Sardines Pasta
5. Batangas Roulade?

yung fish na may laing sa loob
6. US Beef Rib
7. Bagoong Thai Rice
8.Bagnet
9. And for dessert, Lava Choco Cake with Raspberry ice cream- delish pero mas type ko pa rin si Lava Cake ng Pepper Lunch.

Over-all,super busog. Masarap din yung brewed coffee! : )

LukYuen.. okay pala sa kanila. first time ko to try it and i liked the chicken noodle soup. mabilis din service, or prolly nagkataon lang sakin kanina kasi only 2 people kasabay ko mag-dine in the resto... although after a few minutes, nagdadatingan na customers.

Dinner at RUB Ribs & BBQ (88 East Capitol Dr. Brgy. Kapitolyo, Pasig) last Saturday was great. Madali lang pala siya hanapin kasi it's on the main road lang. Maliit nga lang yung signage.

Anyway, we ordered: Super Duo Ribs with Sprice and Spinach Mushroom (Php 350), Spicy Sausage Pasta (forgot exact amount, basta less than Php 200), Fried Orea with Vanilla Ice Cream (5 pcs, Php 145), and Coke Zero. Total bill: Php 725. Dalawa kaming kumain, meron pang konting leftovers.

Sulit na sulit!

Finally found RUB along Sct Rallos and sobrang sulit nga, generous ang servings and food is good!

Buti na lang kumain kami yesterday. Sarado pala sila starting today until the 22nd dahil magre-renovate daw.

Chicken Charlie in Katipunan:

Great place to eat and hang especially during school breaks. The price of their food is affordable. Their food is delicious! They serve double deep fried chicken in 2 different flavors: soy garlic chicken and hot sweet chicken.

Since I've discovered the place, I always order hot sweet chicken wings. Super winner sakin yung flavor na yun, and I personally just prefer chicken wings over drumstick. Four pieces of chicken wings cost 99 pesos. It's already super sulit! And since it's double deep fried, it's crunchy on the outside (I just love hearing the crunch sounds when I bite into the chicken), and juicy on the inside. Tastes great!

I totally recommend this restaurant to all my freinds, and to all my GT friends. Two thumbs up!

Speaking of katips, has anyone here tried the big kebab place along katipunan? yung malapit na sa vicinity ng miriam? that place was blu finn before, if I'm not mistaken. is it like mr. kebab (west ave) in terms of quality & affordability?

Borough's (Podium) Plain Mac and Cheese was really good

very cheesy... Because it was baked sarap ng crunchiness of some portions of the cheese..

Kanto (Podium) If you like your Sisig spicy then they have it there. Anghang talaga!

Love their dynamite too. It is wrapped in breading and stuffed with ground beef and cheese. Sarap!

Any feedback on Kitchen's Best at McKinley Park Residences at the Fort? Ensogo is offering vouchers for this resto. I'm not sure if I'll get.

Charlie's mami house in San Juan

Ang sarap ng beef wanton mami. The siopao was good too but sa gitna lang maraming filling. Sa sides wala.

Ang mura ng bill namin ni hubs. For 1 large beef wanton mami (shared by us), 2 pcs asado, 1 pc bola-bola siopao + take home of 1 pc asado and 1 bola-bola, our bill came up to only Php375. That's a good deal.
