Apartment 1B- Salcedo, Makati

I've always wanted to try this resto. Wala kasi ako nabasa pa na bad review. Kaso sa taas siguro ng expectations ko sa kanya (at sa mahal nya), I was really expecting to be blown away. I was even disappointed on the grilled porkchop I ordered. Pinkish pa yun laman. ;-P I'm not really fan of medium rare meats. Hindi naman kasi ako tinanong kung ano gusto ko luto.

henry's place at burgos circle, forbestown center
- i haven't dined at its sister-restaurant, good earth tea room, in 8 years so i was kind of excited and apprehensive at the same time to try henry's place. not really a fan of fusion cuisines, but this chinese fusion restaurant really works. loved the crispy duck rolls, lily on the pond, popoy's delight (white snapper fish fillet with ham in light sauce), crab foo yong and the yang chow fried rice was so flavorful. i was so relieved that everything we ordered was delightful.

the cheesesteak shop
- we passed by last night to buy dinner for take-out. taste of food was good (it must be coz cheapest sandwich they have is P280!), but service was so slow! it took them about 30 minutes to make our order. the place was kinda hot too and exhaust was bad. when we went out, we smelled like beef already! $:-\$

Village Tavern at BHS Central

Hubby and I had the pulled pork quesadillas and chicken tacos. Both were very good and tasty. Weird lang the taste of the chocolate-flavored bean side dish that went with the tacos, plus the rice did not taste Mexican. I like the iced tea.

The place is very relaxing.

choco yema cake- sarap yung chocolate, moist siya. kakaumay yung yema na part
toast with dips- di masarap!

Pancake House SM Dasma - nabad trip kami nung una kasi ang tagal maluto nung Pork Vienna, yun pala kakadeliver lang kaya tagal maluto. Tapos maya maya dinalhan kami ng free soup kasi ang tagal nga ng orders namin. Infairness bumawi sila

We were disappointed with Crazy Katsu. Their chicken katsu which is their bestseller was so-so, i can make better sauce at home. Their fish tempura naman was super lansa! Pagkakagat ko nag emit sya ng masangsang na scent.. Yuck talaga. They should have used dory instead of asohos fish. They have limited food na 10 dishes or below lang yata nasa menu nila so i was expecting na masarap kase puro specialty dishes lang nila. Their service was disappointing too.. After complaining to the waitress of our fish tempura, she just went inside the kitchen to talk to the cook then came out but didnt bother to come to our table and explain. As if nothing happened. Hay kainis!

Vanilla cupcake bakery

Cupcakes look cute, but taste...parang mura. Hindi rich yung lasa ng chocolate, malt, caramel. Sugar yung nalalasahan ko. Ordered the valrhone, salted caramel and malted choc. Even the pb cookie and the oatmeal raisin cookie were mediocre.

Yabu House oF Katsu

Service was excellent. Manager was very attentive to his customers' needs. I love their miso soup. also their japanese rice.

Fishman (rizal drive BGC) - kakabukas lang yata kahapon. Namamahalan ako sa food (kasi sa location kaya ganun ang presyo nila?)kasi d naman ganun kapresko ng isda. Ang liit ng ebi tempura mukhang camaron rebusado. Sana mas madami na baked at grilled dishes. Mga makasalanan rin kasi ang luto sa isda kaya parang d na rin healthy.

Burger bar- service sucks big time! Cramped place tapos ang hirap pa tawagin ang servers. Ordered double patties, 1 lang ang binigay so another long wait na naman!

Pero in fairness, nasarapan ako sa burgers na inorder namin (blue cheese and Bar burger.)

Went to Seryna at Little Tokyo. We were expecting to given for Edamame for appetizer similar to other tables pero mukhang nagbibigay lang sila kung sino yung maraming order. We spent 700+ each per head pero siguro when we ordered our appetizers akala nila yun na yun. When we confronted our server. Sabi nila yung head daw nila ang nagdedecide kung sinong bibigyan ng edamame.@_@
