@bibits, wala akong milia before pero meron ako whiteheads. Nawawala naman. Pero ang blackheads, ibang usapan :p

^thanks sis! problem ko talaga is whiteheads esp sa side ng nose, hay ang dami. sana mawala na sila lahat:)

pansin ko lang today medyo mahapdi na makati yung areas with peeling but tolerable naman not really bothersome

Depends on every person. Skip a few days. Tapos wag mo lagay after you just washed your face. Don't use anything else din na may aha and bha.

When my skin becomes raw, emu oil or sunflower oil usually calms it down.

micropeeling lang yung sakin, ni hindi nga halata na nagbabalat ako unless magscrub ako sa face.. so far ok naman experience ko with tret, no major purging naman pero theres a portion on my face,sa temple, na hindi pa din naalis ang purging.

Try mo magpaprescribe ng iba. Kasi, feeling ko hindi lang tret yung nakakapagpa-peel sa face mo. Pati yung wash.

For me it is. Kaso you won't see significantly the changes until around 3 months.

But some of our sisses here reported changes in as little as 2 weeks.

Naku sis, don't start on tret a few weeks to a big event. Purging can go on as long two months, baka you'll do more damage than good pa in such a short time span.

Have you tried physiogel AI cream? It helps restore the skin's natural barrier. You can also try Clarins Skin Repair Beauty Concentrate, it helps sensitized skin go back to normal. It's quite expensive though and the texture is quite oily...

sis, i'm using Physiogel na. once palang ako nag apply ng tret and grabe nangyari sa face ko.

gusto ko sakalin derma ko! sinabi ko naman sa kanya na despedida ko in 2 weeks.

^in that case sis, i think you need a heavy moisturizer na sis. try la mer, it's working wonders for me, though the price is really steep.

what i do is, i put on tret at night, but i don't put on moisturizer yet. i put on moisturizer in the morning na. ok lang for me kasi our office is freezing naman sa lakas ng aircon.

^^get checked by another derm na lang. If your skin is really irritated, as in with rashes or bumps, anything could make it worse. I think you might need something like cortisone to calm you face, kahit 2 or 3 days lang, but it can thin the skin, so better check with a derma.

@m_lim, tricky din talaga ang tret. The first time my derma prescribed me with this, sobrang naging raw ang skin ko. Flakey and raw. Tipong pag maghihilamos, sobrang hapdi.

She said, tuloy ko lang daw. But it was so painful, I skipped a day, and put emu oil instead. (Emu oil is used to treat burns daw, kaya I tried it). The next day tinuloy ko lang until I developed tolerance.

Magkaiba lang tayo kasi wala akong event na pupuntahan or something.

ayaw ko na nga sana mag cortisone kasi kaya rin naging super sensitive face ko, ang lakas ko mag steroids dati. eh yun nga, nakaka nipis ng balat.

hindi ko muna ilalagay yung tret na binigay niya. dapat 2x a week ang lagay ko. pero yung isang beses palang na nilagay na tret, together with other acids (mandelic, glycolic ata yon), grabe naging reaction ng face ko eh

nakakatakot baka hindi mawala in two weeks! eh kahit lagyan ng make up, pangit. kasi nga flaky, magbubuo buo yung foundation or concealer.

kakainis lang kasi makinis na face ko, rough lang siya pag hinawakan. pero no pimples whatsoever. ngayon parang tocino daw.
