Advise lang ha. Na realize ko ito nung may nagsabi dito sa isang thread. Hanap ka muna ng job na talagang gusto mo. Kasi ang call center, andiyan lang iyan eh. Last resort iyan. Kahit undergraduate nga, tinatanggap diyan. So last option na talaga siya dapat.

Pero kung gusto mo talaga, go. Medyo malaki ang QC so specify mo kung saan. Meron sa UP-Ayala (sa Quezon Circle lang) - HSBC, IBM, etc. Meron din sa QC (Scout Area, ABS-CBN) - NCO. Meron din sa Quezon Avenue lang - Sykes. I think meron din iba pa eh. Pero ang morning shift, usually pag back office ka or email. check ka online, may mga ganoon naman.

Good luck.

I graduated year 2008 with a BS Clinical Psychology degree.

I was applying for an HR Post even before my graduation. Unfortunately, I got bored of waiting. So I applied in a BPO (eTelecare), so 2 weeks after my graduation I am already attending their LPET (Language Pre-Emp Training). Sabi ko para naman kahit papano maimprove ko ang English Proficiency ko. Ayun, after 10 days I was given a contract. I did grab the opportunity agad kasi eTelecare is one of the best BPOs e. After I resigned at eTelecare I was able to work in a setting that is related to my degree. Pwedeng stepping stone ang BPO especially if you want to be productive ASAP.

Hi Sis! Okay naman magwork sa call centers/bpos. they provide training and they still give you experience (people skills, working under pressure, etc) so I think it's still okay to give it a try, although the downside is that hindi sya yung field na gusto mo talaga. On the bright side, marami na ngayong call centers ang nagaaccept ng fresh grads, even without experience. the key to landing a job is knowing where to look for it.

FYI sis, sa jul20-22 may job fair sa PESO ng QC city hall. Here's a link for the details:
