plan to have my first papsmear after a year of giving birth i was worried kasi by this time 2 months delay na ako hindi naman ako preggy kasi wala si husband & i dont whats this instinct na parang may iba dati kasi irregualr na talaga ako now kasi medyo may pain ako nararamdaman lower back papuntang puson & heavy ang discharge ko with fishy smell i noticed this 1 week ago iam using PH care naman dont know din kung dahil ba sa feminine wash ko to kasi now lang ako gumamit nito betadine talaga gamit ko before super worried

^naku sis yan din yung problem ko, so i decided to consult it to ob and she prescribed to use betadine and an antibiotic. pero kahit di ko pa natetake yung antibiotic, bale betadine pa lang gamit ko eh ok na agad ako.
pero ok naman result ng pap smear ko, wala naman problem. sabi ni ob meron daw case talaga na nag-rereact yung sperm the loob, when we have contact, kaya daw ganun.

never pa akong nag pa- papsmear. pero I have 2 kids na.. laging plan lang di ko natutuloy. medyo kabado kasi ako baka masakit. pareho lang ba ng Trans V ultrasound sis ang mafi-feel? wala naman akong discomforts pero ang alam ko dapat annual ito. sana matuloy ako this weekend di tamarin! :)z

Hi sisses, ask ko lang kung may marerecommend kayong OB sa Pasig-QC area. I hope you can suggest an OB who is open minded and not a prude. I really want to get started with my regular check-ups and pap smear. Thanks!

^ Sis for as long as wala ng period or blood okay naman na ata yun. kasi messy naman kasi pag may period ka ng ipapasok ang speculum sa pwerta mo.

after ng papsmear ko TVU naman, muntik na akong umurong sa TVU kasi lalaki ang doctor buti na lang may assistant syang babae at sya ang nagpasok sa vagina ko then the doctor sa monitor lang nakatingin.medyo matagal ang TVU unlike papsmear saglit lang. I paid P735 for papsmear and P800 for TVU naman.

ask ko lang, sino sino ang dapat magpa-papsmear na? kahit ba wala pang experience sa sex, ok lang magpa-papsmear? I remember, nagkaroon yata ako ng infection basta super nangati at nagpantal down there after ko mag swimming and used a towel from a 5-star hotel

buti nawala sya in time.. Pero parang gusto ko maging aware sa health ko asap kahit wala pa ako experience..

I'm also planning to have vaccinations.. Hanapin ko lang yung thread. Thanks mga sis.

^yes sis kahit hindi sexual active. your ob will advise you naman kung kailangan mo magpapap-smear.

Wala pa po kong HMO sis. 19 pa lang po ako e! Na-try ko na yun once, sa San Juan De Dios Hospital. Eh di ba po annual yun? Namamahalan po kasi ako sa 1500php e! Baka meron na cheaper.

Anyone nakaramdam ng pain or discomfort after the procedure and bumalik ang sakit after days ng procedure?
Doscomfort meaning nung parang the OB is scraping the cells inside and nung bumalik yung sakit parang sa lower right area ng pelvic.

can this be ovarian cancer?

1k ang papsmear at usually 600 ang consultation. Depende pa din sa ob.

Every year ba dapat mag papsmear? Nagtatago ako sa OB ko kasi di na ko bumalik for my depo provera shot. Haha.

had my pap smear this afternoon.. twice ko na to, 2009 yung last pap smear ko. hindi naman masakit or magaan lang talaga ang kamay ng OB ko..

recommended talaga mga sis na magpa-pap smear every year, specially sa mga sexually active
