every monthly check up ko i always pay for the parking fee. sana pag patient ka waived na 'yun.

i'm happy naman with my ob si dra.joan esguerra. next time i'll ask her about the fee.

^ My OB!  Dr. Valerie Guinto.  Check the APAS thread.  I have recommended her to fellow GTers.  So far, lahat sila happy with her. :)

She is from UP College of Medicine.  Perinatologist (specialist in high risk pregnancy) and sonologist din siya, meaning, siya mismo ang mag-u-ultrasound sa iyo.  No need to go to IMW or another doctor.

^ Same to you. :)

I saw your post in the other thread.  Dr. Guinto is also affiliated with Medical City though she does not have a clinic there.  So puwede rin siyang magpaanak doon. :)

i'll give birth at st luke's. we have decided na sa QC na lang so hubby (who is a resident doctor) can go in the delivery room. plus mas malayo ang Global City with our relatives. same lang ang price and both hospitals offer packages for NSD and CS. mas promote lang sa Global City since less ang patients dun. Dr. de Jesus is my OB, she is affiliated to both QC and GC

^She is also my OB, and I am happy with her. I gave birth last October via C-Section in St. Luke's Global and Dra. Guinto delivered my baby. I am glad I chose St. Luke's Global because I had a truly wonderful hospital stay. Akala ko nga the best na ang delivery ko in MMC years ago, but when I experienced SLGlobal, I can say, it is the best. The service was excellent and the treatment, first world standard. Admittedly, it is highly expensive there compared to other hospitals, but when you think about the excellent medical care that they give, sulit na sulit, pag-ipunan na lang.

Got birth in St Luke's QC a year and 2 months ago via Birthing Suite. Prior to that, I got admitted sa QC and Global City once, kaya thrice ako na-admit sa St Luke's. I was so pampered by everyone. Will look up my bills nga para you guys will have a reference.

maternity pads - not provided, but moddess maternity pad is available, basta sabihin mo lang sa nurse, dadalhin nila sa room mo, charge to your hospital bills. I suggest you bring your own kasi mas mahal sa hospital.

disposable diapers - meron din, basta sabihin mo lang sa nurse, but i would still suggest you bring your own kung room-in si baby dahil triple ang presyo ng prokids newborn diaper pag charge to hospital bills. Kung mani-NICU naman si baby, di ka pwede magdala ng diaper, lahat dapat galing sa hospital to ensure sterile, controlled environment sa loob ng NICU.

milk - kung formula, hindi ka pwede magdala, bawal. they would insist that you breastfeed. Kung wala kang milk, they would encourage you to pump until may milk ka na but in the meantime, di talaga pwedeng mag formula. Kung gutom na si baby at wala ka talagang milk, you can buy breastmilk from milk bank at ika-cup feed. Pwede rin bring a donated breastmilk.
