hi sisses! i decided to create this topic kasi super dami na ng consultancy offering student visa to Canada, Australia, UK, New Zealand, even Singapore meron na din.

dami ko napag inquiran about student visa. yun iba nag pay din ako ng fees, hindi naman umusad application ko.

I recently got my NZ student visa. last August 8, 2011 lang. mabilis naging process sa kin, June 27, 2011 ako nag sign ng agreement sa Magnifica Documentation Consultancy Services then August 8, ok na visa ko.

here are some of the consultancies na nag-inquire ako:

Study International (makati)
- Canada, UK, New Zealand, Australia, Korea, Singapore
- no consultancy fee, free assesment
-i asked why ala sila consultancy fee, they said the school abroad are paying them for marketing dito sa pinas kaya they don't charge any consultancy fee
- i've talked to Leo, one of the consultant, very nice and kind person
- mostly universities ang schools na ka tie up nila kaya super mahal din ng tuition

International Student Advisers 4 U (ortigas)
- UK, New Zealand
- consultancy fee Php60,000 // 3 installments
- sablay sa kin to kasi i asked for the requirements, sabi i have to pay na daw kagad yun 1st installment before they give me further info

Global Summit Consultancy Services (makati)
- Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK(no longer offered)
- consultancy fee Php65,000 (sometimes, they have promo rates)
- 2 of my friends were in UK through them
- i've talked to Sherwin
- i've paid Php30,000 consultancy fee for Australia. promo daw kasi. they processed my papers, ok sila kasi they always call me to update me of the progress. nagka problem lang ako sa show money kasi at first before i signed the agreement, they told me that the show money for australia is only Php800,000. then when everything was all set, they asked me to add money kasi nag increase na daw ng requirement ang AU embassy. need daw Php1.3M. so ok, we borrowed money. they submitted my papers sa embassy. the AU notified me thru email for a request to add show money. atleast Php1.6M. i was given a certain period of time to come up with enough funds (2 weeks). syempre hindi naman na namin alam kun san pa pwede makahiram ng another 300k. i was denied of AU student visa
- comment: hindi kagad dini disclose yun lahat ng fees during the orientation. once nakapag sign na ng agreement, don pa lang pa konti konti sasabihin na may extra fee or nag increase na ang rate. ang dami din masyado maghahawak ng papers, after matapos sa marketing, ililipat ka sa processing kaya paiba iba makakausap.

Magnifica Documentation Consultancy (makati)
- UK, New Zealand, Canada, Australia
- consultancy fee Php45,000 // 3 installments
- mabait sila kausap, all fees were disclosed during the orientation
- limited lang ang ka tie up na school nila, mostly institutes and colleges kaya not so expensive and tuition compared to universities
- hindi palagi tumatawag to update me of the progress, only for important updates
- talked to Ms. Arlene, nice and kind
- they only have 4 staffs kaya super hands on sila sa application
-in fairness to them, i was granted a student visa to NZ

I've processed mine through IDP Makati , wala akong binayaran. Pero nung kinuha ko na anak ko I paid 19k for her application. Mabilis din sila mag process.

sis sahjane? anong course kinuha mo sa new zealand and pm mo naman sakin sis kung how much lahat lahat nagastos mo.

Wow sissies meron din sa ortigas na ganito valid na company din sya sa may jolibee centre sya... Kaso mahal masyado lahat ng fees aabot ng 500K

mahal din nagastos ko sis. tuition ko pa lang sa Diploma in Healthcare level 5 10,500NZD na.

^sis what happened ? ilang buwan ka na jan sa NZ ? sis pinksavannah, yes nag aaral anak ko dito sa Darwin I enrolled her in a private school and I'm only paying $1200 a year. NT rin ba punta mo sis ?

may na attendan ako seminar sa ayala techno hub, Firstec yun name nun company. For student's visa sya sa melbourne, australia. I think encourage nila sa melbourne since dun yun office nila located. Fees is P40k all in. From requirements to help in finding accomodation and work (dapat daw hindi ka mapili) and lastly may migration officer din daw sila sa melbourne office. Tom, I have a schedule at IDP, try ko din dun since all parts of Australia eh pwede ka mag apply. Hope it will go well.

^^almost 2 months na ko dito sa Z. may part time work n din ako.

kaso sablay yun Magnifica. married kasi na ko kaso ala pa NSO copy of marriage cert nun time na nag apply ako for visa. so ang advice nun consultancy is umalis ako as single. pag dating daw dito NZ once may NSO copy na ng marriage cert, madali lang daw ipaammend yun sa phil embassy dito.

may NSO copy na ko ng marriage cert, hindi ganon kadali ipa change. need ko pa magpa affidavit, tsaka andami pa gagastusin pra lang makapag pachange of status.

@sis sahjane, thank you for starting this topic at sa mga sis natin dito na nag reply. mga sis, correct me if I am wrong ha? sa pagka intindi ko, we will study there para maka chance na maka work abroad? gagastos tayo mga sis ng malaki, mababawi din ba natin mga sis? kasi i am really planning to go to new zealand... kaya lang, nalilito pa ako sa mga agencies. kasi iba iba feedback ang maririnig ko... worth it din ba mga sis?tia

What's your status sis? Student visa or PR na?
How old is your kid? Nag inquire kami here in Sydney and with a bridgibg visa, if i enrol my son in a private school, we were told to pay $20k/ year school fees, kalurky!!!! Parang uni ang fee, ang OA sa mahal

sa kin sis yun pag student visa ko is entry ko lang talaga to NZ. what i want is to really work. after a month, nag ka work na ko dito sa NZ. as a student, part time lang ang allowed, 20hours/week. bale yun 1st year ko dito, lam ko na hindi pa ganon ka bongga yun kikitain ko na tipong malaki ang mapapadala sa pinas kagaya nun ibang abroad.

halos lahat ng nakilala ko na pinoy dito sa NZ, puro student visa nag start.

ingat ka sis sa mga consultancy. uhm, ok naman sa magnifica, napaalis naman ni ko. hindi lang ok yun pinaalis nila ako as single pero married ako. sabi nila madali lang daw maprocess dito sa phil embassy ang change of status pero hindi naman pala ganon kadali

hi, ask ko lang po. kasi my brother, who'se a holder of tourist visa applied for student visa sa U.S (he's already there), and almost a year na, wala pa daw. nag apply sya nung February 2011, mahigpit daw kasi ngayon, im not sure if he's telling the truth or just shy to tell na disapproved ang visa nya, (pero i think honest naman sya), nagtataka lang ako kasi masyado matagal. how long ba talaga yun? thank you!

^sis try mo add sa facebook yun Global Visa Support. inadd ko kasi sila and andami nilang option for student visas including US student visa wherein you can work fulltime daw.
