Hi! Share ko lang:
I was diagnosed PCOS last May 2009, after my laparoscopy to remove dermoid cyst on my right ovary. I took pills for 3 months, Metformin and other supplements. I got Pregnant last September 2009, gave birth to a baby girl last year June.

I breastfeed my baby for a year, I got my 1st period this year June, since I semi stopped pumping also in June, my period skipped in July (I did the PT, negative lumabas). My period came again on August 2011, then this September, wala nanaman akong period. I thought same sa last time na nag skip lang ulit. But last week of September, I kinda felt weird na.. hot, prominent heartbeat. I took the PT last 30 September and 6 October, I got 2 lines! I'm expecting baby no. 2! I'm on my 6w and 7d based sa size nya nung OB check-up, pero pag based sa LMP ko, 8weeks na dapat. Sabi ng OB, nag delay daw ako ng 10 days e.

Dahil 2x this year palang ako nagka period, I never thought na ma-preggy ako agad. I was thinking of taking Metformin na nga ulit for my PCOS, pero ndi ko na nagawa.. ito preggy na.

So to all, don't lose hope. Miracles happen every second.. you just have to pray and have faith. Do research, believe that good things are bound to happen.  :)

I'll visit another OB, para malaman kung PCOS pa ba ako.

Any advice mga sissies? magkakababy pa ba ko? since regular naman period ko, is it possible na hindi na ako PCOS?

TIA!  ;)

pa-join ako mga sissies...

ako diagnosed din na PCOS (bilateral) nung january. aside from that eh retroverted din uterus ko. well hindi pa naman ako nawawalan ng pag-asa. i'm staying positive despite all that. H2B and i will be getting married May next year and we're planning to have a baby right away. yun lang sana makatsamba kami. i stopped using metformin after a month of taking it kasi sobrang pangit yung effect nya sa akin. right now, i'm only taking althea pills para mag-menstruate ako monthly. dami ko na nabasa na thread bout PCOS since nung na-diagnose ako. i'm planning to take yung Fertility blend pagdating ni H2B hopefully magkaroon ng positive effect..i'm planning to consult an OB/RE din either next month or january next year. wala pa kasi akong mahanap na mabait na OB/RE around makati area. let's stay positive lang mga sissies...hindi naman hopeless scenario ang case natin kasi madami pa rin namang nagbubuntis kahit PCOS. baby dust to all.  ^_^

On a different prospective naman for us with PCOS.. before my IVF in Taiwan.. i feel so bad about having PCOS.. dito ko lang naappreciate while having IVF because the side effect is madami tayong eggs na naproproduce when stimulated... so the more eggs, the better kase the doctors here can afford to transfer blastocyst (day 5 fertilized egg) since madami nga extra. Syempre depends pa din sa quality ng eggs but they also give meds for that. Ayun.. sa batch namin na PCOS, me isang 40 ang naretrieve, ako 26... out of the 26, 15 ang fertilized...  they selected 2 best quality to transfer and then me mga spare pako for freezing.

hi mga sisses, pls help me naman im a newbie. d ko n alam ang gagawin ko :( masyado na akong depressed sa kalagayan ko. kinasal kami 2003 pero nalaman ko lang nung 2006 na pcos ako, mag 9yrs na kami ng hubby ko, dp din me nabubuntis..ang dami ko ng labtest na ginawa pero  nagpatransvaginal me ulit nung april 2011, sabi ng oby ko, nwala na [textspeak!] pcos ko, nabuhayan n me ng pag asa so niresetahan nya me ng clomid(5 days), folicard and myra e, then every other day ang contact namin, ganun ng ganun hanggang mag 3cycles of clomid na kami, wala pa rin :'(. naghahabol na me kasi dn me bumabata, im 32 yrs old and my hubby is 33yrs old. naiimmuned na me sa gamot, kaya stop na muna ako and im totally broked na. sa ngaun nag try me muna magpahilot baka sakali dun na me mabuntis.. pero continous ko [textspeak!] vitamins ko and my hubby.. sana naman magkababy na taung lahat.pag d na naman nagwork, d ko na alam ang gagawin ko para magkababy na kami, minsan napanghihinaan na me ng loob, pero sa mga nababasa ko dito, nagkakaroon ako ng pag asa.. pero d ko pa rin maiwasan ang di magtanung kay GOD.. at napapaiyak nlang ako..  :'(

^hi sis, I suggest go and visit Dra Germar Martinez, she's an infertility expert. Atleast you would know your case and may baseline ka na.

Before I don't know rin my case until I found Dra Martinez, recommended lang din ng isa sa mga natulungan niya mabuntis. Well, my case naman is different from hers. GL sa atin sis, hope everything goes well. :)

I have posted this already but post ko lang ulit since sa lumang mga thread pa ito.  My sons pedia told me before na if you want to conceive and you have PCOS you need to take Vit E parang 400iu and folic acid 5mg. Sabi niya marami siyang patients na nabuntis na in taking that lang.  Upon reading the reading the thread I have realize that I'm so lucky dahil nagka PCOS ako after I gave birth to my son.

hay sis, mas nakakastress yata ang story ko eh, i was super irregular, got my first mens when i was 10. dahil sa hndi ako regular got my monthly visit to the OB. mga 27 years na ko ng madiagnosed na i have PCOs pala.

And 1 time lang yun kasi the next cycle wala na naman. Napapraning na ko kakaisip whats wrong with me?

So now pahinga muna kami ng 1 year sa work up, ipon muna kami.
